NOTHING wrong with adapters. So many ppl don't do the research👍👍 been running adapters on my truck for 5 years now and I'm not shy with them. Torque them to spec and your good👍👍
That looks so much better, sounds so much better and hopefully brakes so much better. Grandmas truck is really looking good. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸
In my opinion (never a good way to kick off a comment), grandmas truck would look SICK with a set of pocket style flares on the front fenders. Will give it an aggressive look and take up some of the “poke” from 10” wheels. Such a sweet build. I’m inspired!!
Turn your switch to right, easy to operate with ring finger and wont hit dash. To keep the switch from rattling, get a black hair tie from Taylor. Make a loop around shifter and then go over shaft of switch. Mine is nice and quiet.
Now give grandma a ride. And let her drive if she feels like it. Sam looks good both ways. Thats what is cool about Dodge trucks. Personalize with so many different considerations. Ole girl looks killer. Sounds better than my straight pipe 2500 24V 5 spd 4×4. Really good video. 2 thumbs like button.
I ran those same exact nexen 305 55 20 on my 2012 Ram 2500 Cummins, I was towing quite a bit and I ran them for 62 k miles and cut a sidewall. They were great for wear and highway use, not so much for traction in mid or wet grass. Had to know my boundaries but I was very well pleased with them. Good luck
I'm doubled up on the back with 2" spacers. One on the hub and one between. Never had an issue in the over 200k miles and 26k gross weight. I physically tried breaking them offroad and some other crazy stuff(obviously not on the roadway) and these things just hold up well. If they're torque'd and a good quality spacer you really shouldn't have an issue.
Real nice truck. Just my ideas. Really want to see under bed toolbox. Not the standard large square ones but but a slim like 8 or 10 inch tall mounted under bed. And custom mudflaps with logo. Flag across headache rake.
The Duals looked cool, but those wheel spacers were kinda scary... Looks better, and is functional now... If you wanna do dually later u can slap a 1 ton axle under it...Better yet... 5 ton axles front and rear on another project truck?????
Love the new wheels🤘🏻 but I’d still put like a 1” hub- sentric spacer on the back to bring it at least flush with the wheel wells, but it’s not my truck so🤷🏼♂️ dude it’s like you need to take your wheels to a shop that does like 22”x14” forged wheels or bigger so you know they’re careful and have experience with wheels that aren’t shit stockers, otherwise something is always going to come back dinged, scratched or broken. It’s actually pathetic that a regular wheel shop can’t do quality work. I’ve had 3 different sets gets messed up from 3 different places, all I’ve called beforehand and asked if they were capable. 🤦🏼♂️ but now I have a spot I can finally not worry about. 👍🏻 grandmas truck sounds awesome 🤘🏻
I like the changes to Gma's truck and like that you shifted to a mixture of old and new as far as look and function. The truck is Kinda a restomod . I get it, I have a 2001 F-550 with 2004 front end and a few other things that up date the look. One thing that bothers me about your truck and it may be OCD related, Please move the mud flaps forward closer to the rear tires.
Definitely looks good, buuuuuut! It is a little narrow in the rear end. So I vote for a 40" or 44" continental super single set up some time soon. Asap actually. Please.
I see that wheel weight. No need for those. Size your tire and put in the appropriate ounces of balance beads. Best dadgum thing ever. If you put in six ounces per tire it will balance nicely. I would put in seven ounces for those new wide ghetto tires.
The spacer in the rear was probably the harmonics you were feeling when you thought the rear end was going out. Singles... meh, there ok, I'm sure you appreciate the ride a lot more. You have your dedicated tow rigs, so your still good to go. Is that exhaust brake worth it, does it hold back much, been debating on one???
i understand the dully set wasn't exactly "right" but damn imma miss that look
Definitely moving back to SRW was the right call. The duals were "alright" but the single wheel look fits much better.
Truck looks good with the singles but I think the duals take the cake. Can’t beat a little tire poke. Plus 6 is always better then 4 🤷🏼♂️
Until you have to pay!😉
Or drive in snow. Duallys suck
NOTHING wrong with adapters. So many ppl don't do the research👍👍 been running adapters on my truck for 5 years now and I'm not shy with them. Torque them to spec and your good👍👍
Oh man does the ole girl look good with the new wheel setup👍 Good choice man and she sounds healthy with that straight pipe!
That looks so much better, sounds so much better and hopefully brakes so much better. Grandmas truck is really looking good. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸

Heat up your stick shift and bend it back a little, will solve the issue of hitting the dash, 🤟🏻🤙🏼🇨🇦
I would love to see the black wheels on the 5500
Grandma’s truck looks like it is ready for a drifting contest! Sweet!
Great call on going back to srw, truck looks awesome
Grandmas truck is spot on !
Love the look of the new singles, Sam! Fits the truck better. The whole project turned out great!
Thank you
Grandma’s truck and your 5500 are my favorite trucks you own. Flatbed Cummins’s for the win😎👌🏼
Bro I can’t believe you towed with that spacer!!
lol
Outlaw life haha
Looks so much better with the singles

I just got a 2nd gen Cummins single cab with a long bed it’s in bad shape gonna try to make a good truck out of it though

Like with the singles wheels better but looks like needs fender flares on the front to finish it off
The best cauge of a pickup is how you feel after driving it you did the right thing by how you said it is now
The Duals looked cool, but those wheel spacers were kinda scary... Looks better, and is functional now... If you wanna do dually later u can slap a 1 ton axle under it...Better yet... 5 ton axles front and rear on another project truck?????
Awe man I loved the duals. But I guess it's your truck not mine. Also see cowboy sitting in the shop 😉. Love your 2nd gen collection.
Cali is really going to love you when you roll coal like that.
Weak level of coal?
@@VBELTandSON Haha lol Still coalish
That truck looked so much better with duals!
Wasn’t bad
Hell yeah brother!!! I love the look of the singles and those new wheels are sweet! Can’t beat the sound of that exhaust brake.
Working on clean stuff is 👌
Just a sick truck bud. Grandma will be proud 😎 I actually like both looks my self.
Looks so much better now
Hell yeah Brother! Truck looks and sounds way better! She’s a Bad Cherry now!
Swap out that rear axle and make her a dually! I think she looked nice with those older rims. Flatbeds need dualls.
Finally the tires fit. The truck looks a lot better👍😎
Grandma's truck looks good and sounds good 👍.
Looks sick! 10/10 / from Sweden.
It’s called a hub centric ring, love the channel and all the dodges.
This thing looks perfect now!
Duals looked a little better , still looks good though.
well this deserves a HELL YEAH BROTHER!! that looks so much better, i liked it before but damn this is such a clean but aggressive look love it
Love the change truck looks awesome you did a awesome job bring that ole truck back to life i know its gotta be awesome driving it
Love the new look of the truck Sam!!! Nicely done!!
Sweet look it looked cool with dually wheels but was unsafe. Keep up the good work and stay safe out there.
I have a 12 valve pump straight pipe axle dump and it beautiful
Man, I had one of those banks exhaust brakes that someone gave me a few years ago and I gave it away! Wish I would have kept it.
Personally like the srw look better, real nice fitment. I have the Dimond eye 4 inch straight pipe on my 7.3ps. It sounds good. Not obnoxious either.
Much better looking & if it’s more comfortable that’s win-win.
Oh YA!! that looks SICK..Way better. Hell Ya Brother
That wheel and tire combo are much better.
Hey dude it would probably look better try taking them spaces off the front wheels it might look cleaner and straighter I don't know try it
I did take the spacers off…
Agree those are some sweet new wheels and tires
Super singles in a 12valve! I like the look!
I liked the dual look better but still a great looking truck!

SUPER JOB> GREAT NEW LOOK
Now that's bad ass looking. You're killing it 👏 🙌 💪
Looks 100% Better
Hell yeah brotha !!!! new video !!!!!
Well done 👍🏻 she looks awesome !!
Your truck looks 1000% better with these wheels !!!
Truck looks so much better now 😍
Great looking truck what a difference single wheel oh boy
Definitely looks good, buuuuuut! It is a little narrow in the rear end. So I vote for a 40" or 44" continental super single set up some time soon. Asap actually. Please.
You send me a set I’ll try them 😂
@@VBELTandSON truly wish I could. I really enjoying your program. Please keep up the great work.
Appreciate it thanks for watching 👍🏻
Hub centric spacers instead of lug centric.
2 thumbs up on grandma's truck
Like new wheels but you lost your hips 😂. Need a little poke in the back. Needed 12 or 14 wide in back kinda back to paw paw status now 😂😳
Looks WAY better
I'd take the Pacbrake with air actuation over anything else brand new, but no shame in saving some coin.
Now it just needs the original bed put back on
Plenty of my builds have factory beds. Boring after while need to change it plus the original bed was clapped
Awesome! Like the look of that truck now.
I like the looks. We have a 96 extend diesel and thinking about a flat deck, and I like these wheels!
Hub centric. Looks awesome Sam 🔥
you just gotta find a long box and get rid of the flat bed and it will be perfect
🤮
Nailed it with the wheels. 👍🏻👍🏻
Great video Sam truck looks great and sounds great 🇺🇲
Much better looking
I live in Sacramento and I have 96 3500 that is a Dooley and I put single wheels on it if you want to swap your axles let me know
Looks good but... Dually looked better.
Dose look great but better with the duals especially with the flat bed but its your truck
@@kevinniemeyer3365 agreed but I like this a lot better and not sketchy spacers involved
This looks amazing now. Sounds good too.
Looks a lot better
Liking the wheel and tire setup!
I liked the wheels out look better, I know just my opinion.
look up aero 4040xl awesome muffler well performance part
I see that wheel weight. No need for those. Size your tire and put in the appropriate ounces of balance beads. Best dadgum thing ever. If you put in six ounces per tire it will balance nicely. I would put in seven ounces for those new wide ghetto tires.
That’s a custom welding bench right there🤣🤣
I liked the duals better but it still looks good.
It need a true dually axle. Dana 80 with disc brakes.
Not a dually anymore she’s right where she needs to be
All 4x4s maybe but my 98 3500 4x2 does not have the "dually" adapter
New rim and tire size what I run on my single wheel flatbed. Single wheel flatty needs fat tire.
Single rear is the move amigo 🤙👌
Beautiful truck I like the duals look more but if your gonna go singles you should do some 35s
Won’t fit unless I level it which I didn’t want. This is the look I wanted. Low
MAD MAX ..! 🤠
Sounds like my 12 value straight pipe 5 inch.
I want an exhaust brake on everything. 100% worth it. And the hum is still there. Thinking drive shaft
What headlights are on the truck? They look cool.
I like the dually way better but ok
Gorgeous truck , Better them new nice job
