There's a lot of great tips here and a staggering amount of effort👍
Good job, thumbs up from me.
You should sale those scales to the public. I would buy one for sure!
I should do that, I need to finish the shield logo, I’m considering using wood instead of brass to simplify the process
@@Kayakatools you do a fantastic job on them. Telling ya they would sell like hot cakes.
Super Video!... Thank you very much for mention me!!
Hey Felix, I’m glad you liked it
A few years ago, a customer of mine wanted me to build his iPod into his Swiss army knife, and I put it together with a wooden cover in such a way that it also functioned as a money clip, because I screwed and glued the part of the clip into the body.
An iPod in a SAK is crazy, that would be cool to see
Very excellent work, a lot of ideas and tips! Thank you for sharing!
And as someone who enjoys tinkering for the sake of tinkering, One, is never enough...
Impressive!
Great job! That turned out amazing!
Thanks!
There isn’t any thought about the SAK Felix Immler hasn’t had yet.
Another successful project, well done!

Great job on the knife and the video.
Thanks
Pretty darn good. Thanks.
Nice work
Good job
I like it!
that was a lot of work man :D But the result was satisfying. well done.
just when you think of something, its already been thought of
I liked the part when you expanded the hole ;)
RIP Leatherman Crunch 😢 I hope that they are working on a new version of it.
Me too, although I kind of doubt it, most people aren’t looking for locking pliers, and the mechanism takes up space, maybe they will tho. I found mine in a small fishing store 2 months ago so there’re still a few out there!
Nice job. I would have liked the burnt edge, wood and brass. 👍
Sehr schöne Arbeiten. Grüsse aus der Schweiz 🇨🇭
this is awesome! I made a set of wooden ones but didn't think about doing 2 layers and cutting them out with my laser. Do you have a good place to source thin exotic wood like that?
Hey thanks, yep I got all the hardwoods from this website ocoochhardwoods.com/scroll-saw-lumber/ and the veneers I got in a pack from someone selling on Amazon
@@Kayakatools Awesome, just ordered some from them and mentioned your youtube channel in the comments section of the order. Maybe they'll throw you a discount on your next order or something! haha
Потрясающая, работа. Единственное замечание, я бы штифт однорукого открывания сделал на пару миллиметров длиннее.
Yes that would help
I'm wondering if installing the thumb stud was worth doing...
Not really, I like the way it looks but it doesn’t stick out enough to use one handed, and it shortens the usability of the blade. I prefer my swisstool spirit MX clip though anyways
Yeah those scales are killer. Do you think if you expanded the relief around the thumb stud would help enable one-handed deployment? Either way, excellent work!
Thanks, that might work. Another idea I had was doing a thinner scale like the Alox SAKs
A thinner scale for a 4-layer SAK would be a good idea!
love everything but the thumbstud, anything that gets in the cutting path like that is less than ideal, love the work otherwise
Yeah It doesn’t make sharpening any easier either lol
