When I was 5yrs old, I wore a houndstooth gown for a wedding. It was very popular in the 1970's! So pretty! This brings back fun memories.

I absolutely love how you teach. I always feel like everything needs to be perfect. I love that you say things may not be perfect because they are handmade. I’ve written before regarding this blanket. I’m dying to crochet it, and for whatever reason fear has gotten in my way. I’m going to start today. OMG! Crystal. This is the first time that I have ever seen a a Houndstooth Blanket. The blanket is so beautiful. Thank you so much for explaining how to run the opposite color underneath the existing color being used. The Red Border IMO is stunning. Thank you again Crystal for the step by step instructions for this pattern. I’m going to add this blanket to my wish list of things I’d like to crochet. I think I gave myself some type of arthritis from crocheting for long periods of time. Now I have to be careful of the projects & gifts that I once made so easily. This blanket is definitely worth it. I will just take my time.
