- Replacing the voltage regulator on my 2019 roadglide special with only 6000 miles. harley roadglide special 114 m8. how to replace harley roadglide voltage regulator. life pranks.
I gotta do this same thing to my road glide!! Idle at 12 volts just like yours. Shiny side up
My '18 CVO Limited, 75K miles, started showing 12 volts while idling 2 days ago then 14 volts while driving. It has always shown 14 volts all the time since new. Do you think my voltage regular is bad? I think you made a pretty good video.
Where are the bolts on the bottom
That 3 wire plug I wonder if it matters which way it goes in cause it can be turned all three ways
Where did you buy the Voltage Regulator and how much was it?
Harley, I think $250
I had to ask, what’s the difference between the Regulator they sell on Amazon for half the price then the one from harley? From the looks of it , it’s the exact same thing, what do you suggest??
just remember you get what you pay for
Did the bike shut off when you were riding?
Here to see if anyone answers… looking for the same answer to your question brother.
It happened to me once shut off. Restarted fine. Then after I noticed my gages flickering when it jumped to 15
Did he say " right meow" come oan man!
I have a 22 road glide, 22,000 miles and my battery gauge is jumping from 14.2 to 12.5 to 14
I might try the voltage regulator first, make sense it’s way easier to get to
c'mon maaaan how come you didn't show how to change it?
Hopefully it lasts longer this time.
i akways thought if the regulator was bad it would climb past 15 and if the stator was bad the battery wouldnt charge
Yea good fucking help shows us 2 top bolts but not the bottom what a fucking waste of time
I kind of regret my Harley purchase. Having ridden nothing but Yamaha and Honda for 17 years...... I've had more problems with my ONE Harley Sportster 1200 (2016), than I have with all my Yamahas and Honda's combined in 17 years. I love the bike when it's running, but Jesus, the quality of the parts suck.
If ya didn't sound lame the your vid would've been better js.
