most jinhao convertors use the 2.6 caliber opening -- the only ones using 3.5 are the ones carrying Z50 (lamy style) nibs -- so the spring convertor will likely fit a jinhao 80 for example
Good review. Surprised I haven't seen others, but maybe I missed them. I DO have a number of these spring loaded syringes which I have picked up over time. Truthfully I prefer the standard syringes because one can expell ink or water with a one-handed motion due to additional ears on the side. It's quite hard to do with the little spring loaded ones, which don't hold much fluid anyway. Thus, all my spring loaded syringes lay pretty much dormant.
I don't have the spring loaded syringe. I do have a 5ml capacity syringe and have used it for cleaning piston filler pens and to load up my X159 Frankenpen. If it came spring loaded, I would buy it in a heartbeat.
I have a pack 0f those that I got from Amazon in the Uk, the only problem I had with them was, that the red end cap thingy of one came unscrewed and I lost it. I a then glued one of the end caps on another one, first making sure that I kept the spring collapsed (by tieing it down with cotten, so as to be able to cut the cotten after)
I recently purchased the exact spring converter, and use it to clean my Majohn T5. It makes the cleaning process from pain to a breeze.
Great idea Chris! I enjoyed it. 👍
Awesome, thank you!
These are better designed than a lot of converters out there
And made by Jinhao!

Thankfully these are very low cost.
I wish I would have gotten some of the Fanmu spring syringes when they were available. Can't find them anywhere.😢
They sold out quickly & never returned.
I use one as a converter for a penbbs pen.
Good to know. Thanks.
I have these from AliEx but my gosh, they fall apart too easily 😢sometimes mid-ink fill
Need to make sure converter ring is screwed in tight.
