Great review Ox. Yeah batmans face was painted black in the show. I actually didn't start collecting these either till the second set that was released. Then i was on board
Question where did you get your stand and also your stand for your figures to be able to stand on, please. I'm looking for some to stand my action DC superheros
Here is a link to the sands I buy all the time k. make sure to pull off the protective film that is over the plastic ok. amzn.to/3URLEmI amzn.to/3V7zuHG
I recently bought the Supermobile in the box for $10 at a toy show and i found out that the design for it was from 1978, Action Comics #481. At first i thought it was a brand new design, but i was wrong
OH nice deal! I actually didn't know that! So thanks for the info cause I thought this was a new design made for this line and meant to be kind of corky and super powers like.
I dont actually! I rarely even use social media. I started this youtube channel cause my kids were pushing me to do daily. So when I started doing it, it just became fun seeing how happy people were to see the stuff I have and also love and enjoy. My kids been telling me to start tiktok but I am busy with work and kids and then this stuff. Not sure how I would be able to do more stuff lol. An I agree man Kenner was my fav and still is.
I got both WW figures. I passed on the vehicle because I don’t collect the invisible 🫥 jet 🛩️ Glad I got the Platinum Collectors edition of this figure.
@@missboozehound Yeah I love a toy in a great display box. Thats why I kept most of mine since I was child cause I would display the vehicles in front of the box. Box art would almost be the reason I would buy it in the stores 😂😂
I just meant they are more geared towards kids for the price, articulation and paint schemes. But I know all the adults who love super powers are all over these. I just passed at first cause that first wave didnt look anything like the super powers cartoon.
i was actually going to show the spin master figures in the vehicles. But the review ended up being longer than I expected. An I ran through each figure lol. But yeah the spin master figures fit just fine in these vehicles.
I passed on them at first so i feel you. I dont have a issue with the paint. My issue was that they are called super powers and looked nothing like the old toys or characters on the show. I didnt get them till they were like 6 dollars.
Im confused on that myself? Not sure why they did that. I never had the original super power figures cause It was before I was born. So not sure if this was something from the original.
Sorry but it's a hard pass on both the Wonder Woman & Aqua Man. They are not very silver age looking aka Super friends / Super Powers interpretations of the characters to me . They are more DC -52'ish looking in my opinion which I honestly don't care for. McFarlane needs to go back to the drawing board and redo those 2 figures over and re-release them to traditional super powers 'esqe fans that have been anticipating these figures.
I can understand that! Im sure he will release a short hair version of Aquaman soon. But I missed out on super powers as a kid being born in 86. So i had yard sale figures and only watch random episodes of the show. So for me im excited for any of these to go with my playset i have from back then.

@@TheCaveofWonders7 so did I until I saw a matchbox style ad in the back of a 1979-80's comic book
@@tyrellwhite8062 well good to know Cause i didn't know that stuff. See Im learning new stuff all the time.
Do y’all have ig? So I can follow you! Kenner was a good toy line in the 80s ❤

Im happy he is making these figures again. They look cool and they are not expensive at all to start collecting.
@@TheCaveofWonders7 yes! I do love the nostalgia of them and how they are updated. The packaging is lovely.

I’d say they are more for adults than kids other than price wise. Lol. I got most of these but not the latest wave either.

@@TheCaveofWonders7 nostalgia was the word I should have used for these. I never watched that cartoon so can’t say but the figures are cool.
Spinmaster villains figures can fit in there Todd lie about superpower figures fitting in there 😂😂😂

The paint on these is funky, looks like a cheap cash grab to me.

The hole in the capes is probably the lamest idea.

At 23:33... you said 'this Superman had red underwear'...
Come on, ... it's not 'underwear'!! They're call 'trunks'.!!
What's wrong with you, man.!!??
