The Super Powers Collection is a line of action figures and toys produced by Kenner Products from 1984 to 1986. The toy line was based on characters from DC Comics and was created to capitalize on the popularity of comic book superheroes during that era. Here are some key points about the Super Powers Collection:
Character Lineup: The line included popular DC characters such as Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and The Flash, as well as a variety of villains like Lex Luthor, The Joker, and Darkseid. In total, there were three waves of figures released, encompassing over 30 different characters.
Unique Features: The action figures in the Super Powers Collection were notable for their "super powers" action features. Each figure had a unique action mechanism activated by squeezing the legs or arms. For example, Superman's arms would perform a punching action when his legs were squeezed together.
Comic Book Influence: The design of the figures was heavily influenced by the DC Comics of the time. The packaging of each figure included a mini comic book featuring the character, providing a backstory and context for the figure.
Vehicles and Playsets: In addition to action figures, the Super Powers Collection included a range of vehicles and playsets. Some of the notable vehicles included the Batmobile, the Supermobile, and the Lex-Soar 7. Playsets included the Hall of Justice and the Darkseid Destroyer.
Legacy and Influence: Although the Super Powers Collection was discontinued after three years, it left a lasting legacy and is remembered fondly by collectors and fans. The toy line is credited with setting a high standard for superhero action figures and has influenced subsequent lines and collections.
Revival and Collectability: The Super Powers Collection has seen various revivals and homages over the years. The original figures are highly sought after by collectors, and mint-condition items can command high prices in the collectors' market.
Overall, the Super Powers Collection is considered a classic and iconic toy line that played a significant role in the history of superhero merchandising.
Do you like McFarlane or Kenner DC Super Powers?
For me it is the classic Super Powers line. While I applaud McFarlane’s attempt (and I do buy some), the scaling is all over the place and the attempt at c-clips for the capes are horrible, the cape material is horrible. I still don’t understand why they don’t try to scale everything the same across all of their lines.
I hear that
I like both, I think mcfarlane is killing it with this line. The newer figures seem to be scaled better to original super powers, the cape material has gotten better but the clips still aren't great.
They do seem to be getting better for sure.
Only Kenner super powers I have is their spaceship the delta probe one. Its like one of the best toys ever.
But I got the Mcfarlane Darkseid so I could finally have a Darkseid to capture like in the commercial.
The vehicles in the mcfarlane line are kind of the best part. Especially the Blue beetle ship.
Agree with Bobby 100% regarding the DC McFarlane packaging. Retro figures deserve retro art!
McFarlane DID do a vintage style Super Powers Batman in the grey and blue with the Garcia card art. You guys just don't have that one in this video.
Did they? I looked.
@ToyAttics Yessir. Came out in the Black Manta wave. I believe it's figure #12. He has long pointed ears (different head sculpt) and embodies the classic Kenner Super Powers Batman.
ruclips.net/video/A1tK90A3Hac/видео.htmlsi=Ajs7PWsmVPd8h93k
Oh nice! So can you tell me why the black manta figure value js so high now?
@ToyAttics I believe it's a Walmart exclusive. I purchased them at Walmart and I'm holding on to them as they seem to be retaining value.
Still superpowers, is our child Hood fun. I appreciate every toy collector who takes the time out of their time to do these videos. Thank you ❤
Great video. I loved all of the background information about the manufacturing process. Definitely learned something from this discussion!
So glad you enjoyed it!
McFarlane went with pins for the knee joints because it was cheaper: producing the upper leg the same way Kenner did would have required a different line of production, different kinds of plastic for the upper and lower leg, for an instance, which would have made the figures more expensive to produce. It must be noted that McFarlane tried everything to keep the retail price low as possible, in fact, adjusted for inflation, the Kenner Super Powers were a bit more expensive than the new McFarlane ones (of course, Kenner figures had the action feature that bumps up the price quite a bit).
Even if Playmates remolds are from the riginal molds, I don't consider them authentic, for two reasons: first of all, there are differences in the paint applications; second, they were not around thirty years ago.
where is the Exosquad video?
First printings of books are always worth more than later printing even when they have corrections
Yes.
Great video! Thanks for the heads up on the third-party capes,
Excellent topic today! Love these discussions!
So glad!
That Flash figure actually is based on the New 52, which is why I’m waiting for a new classic one
Ah I see
This was a really great video to watch! Nothing is more interesting then listening to the creative process and techniques explained while looking at toys that are decades apart!!
I remember my Kenner Super Powers fondly...I wish I still had alot of my old stuff..
Thank you for making this!!

Great video just subscribed. Whether my tastes for a toyline is different from Bobby i always love listening ti him talk about the behind the scenes of the industry.
Thanks for the sub!
Thanks for your honesty ❤
Something I have learned from having products made with steel molds overseas is that they do not really last 10+ years. They have to be kept and stored in a perfect environment and must be cleaned/oiled to even last that long. Steel rusts and can get remade all the time. Kenner remade tools because they actually got worn out from making tens of thousands of plastic parts over and over.
This is an excellent conversation.
I’m glad you enjoyed it
Interesting conversation thank you dude started his own company and competes w/ big boys ✊🏼 Respect
No doubt!
If the new Super Powers had been able to do reissues of the original figures AND THEN supplement it with new characters to the line like your Brainiacs and Nightwings and things, that would have been a knockout (even despite my misgivings about paying $20+ CAD for crappy figures meant to be kept on card). But I loved Super Powers so much that when I saw Superman and Batman looking NOT RIGHT, I couldn't get behind the line. I've been tempted to recreate the Super Powers line-up using the Multiverse figures, but that's a BIG money pit that I've been resisting.
Great video as always. Lots of interesting things to think about especially the tooling which is very cool to learn about.
Do you get into talking about ExoSquad at any point?
He will be doing a video on exosquad soon. Sub his channel!
Because I'm in a lot of TMNT Groups online, I would like to educate on the fact that these recent TMNT Vintage reissues vary from figure to figure, regarding the "authenticity" that Bobby Vala is trying to convey.
While yes, a lot of them are re-using the old molds from the 80s and 90s, many of them have slight differences that may not be notieable to the average person, but they're apparent when you look closely.
Some figures have the wrong heads, like a Leonardo figure may simply have a Raphael head with a blue bandana.
Or some of them have everything perfectly recreated, but one of the arms or legs will be from another turtle... ergo, a Leo may have everything great, but randomly have a Mikey arm or a Donnie Leg... painted to match the rest of the figure, so it's not blatant, but the one amazing thing about the vintage TMNT Playmates figures, is how little they reused parts...
almost all figures had unique sculpts from arms to legs... etc, with only the torso's being the common thing that were re-used between the four brothers, but by and large the musculature, the posing of a foot or hand, would be slightly different from turtle to turtle, so Playmates mismatching arms to legs, is moreso them finding means to reproduce some of the original figures, even though they may have lost or damaged the original molds perhaps... so if they're missing an arm or leg to a specific release, they tend to just grab another brothers arm or leg and slap it on there with the matching paint applications to mirror the rest of the turtle and they hope most people won't notice... but super fans obviously do.
There's other more blatant examples, like the reissue of the TMNT 1990 live action Splinter, which originally had felt fur on the fitgure, but in the reissue was just painted orange fur that looked terrible.
And then there's some figures that are missing accessories compared to the original, or simply have the same accessories across all four brothers, where maybe the original releases had unique weapons/accessorizes from brother to brother...
And then some lines are missing one or more figures entirely because the mold was damaged, like they mentioned in the video with the walmart exclusive "Pizza Tossin" line, which release Leo, Raph and Mikey, but not Donnie, and when people reached out to Playmates, they were told that the original mold was damaged, so there were incapable ot completing the four brothers in the Pizza Tossin line, so we'd only get the three remaining brothers sadly.
So yea these reissues aren't simply "perfect recreations", there's many variables to them that range them from "Great Reissue" to "Terrible Reissue"... but reissues they are...
The only argument in this video that can't be debated is the fact that paint applications on modern figures, generally speaking, would be better than old... that's not to say that paint applications are better... lord knows a lot of details in the original sculpts go unpainted in a lot of these modern reissues, but the QUALITY of the paint is undeniably better and will likely last a lot longer before they start to dull and fade like the old ones... or grow that weird fuzzy plastic mold that sometimes pops up on really old sealed vintage figures... that issue will not likely plagues these reissues as soon as it did the vintage one's... so in the argument of paint quality, yes, today's paint is likely much better than the old...
I love the 89 black costume Batman. From the toy catalog I got at the movie theater back when I saw Batman it had that repainted Kenner Batman figure that we never actually got with the Toy Biz version. So this was a wish come true the best it could in modern times.
I wasn't alive for the release of the Kenner Super Powers line, so I have no attachment to it. Remakes of existing, long out of production figures are always nice, because then it means that a new generation can get something without paying crazy amounts. I think McFarlane just does modern looks for the Super Powers line as an attempt to attract younger customers who grew up with those looks.
That Batman with the Japanese logo is Manga Batman.
Oh? Thank you!
One I want he’s cool or Ichiban!
Do more research before you make videos please
@@kingpoe8385 It seems he was asking Bobby questions. They are not absolute experts on DC lore, they are just talking about some interesting figures.
What would you have wanted us to know?
Just Got back from DFW and finally got around to watch this, intrestiong convo between you and Bobby.
How was the DFW show and did you get a Bone Collector?
@@ToyAttics The show was great, Got several Bone Collectore 2 for myself and about 5 for people who coudnt go. The best part was the people, I got to meet and see people for the 1st time from the 3POA chat, everyone one was so cool. We all came from different backgrounds and all bonded over our love and support for Valaverse.
@@RoleKeeper that’s great!!
Man, Bobby sold a lot of McFarlane Super Powers figures with that video cause I basically bought the same figures you did after watching the video 😂😂✌️
Ha! Really?
The biggest issue I have with this line as someone who loves the vintage line and has a 90 % of the figures is the lack of female figures. Why can’t we get Supergirl, Batgirl or Black Cannery to help full out the Justice League? If they struggle at retail offer them online.
The labels, inside the TMNT packaging, are RFID tags that are used for inventory tracking. A lot of retailers are making them mandatory to get your product into their stores.
Yea. I think I mentioned that in the episode. Might have cut it out
This was a very good video
Thanks so much! Should we do more?
@@ToyAttics yes definitely
I like what McFarlane has done to try to bring back the classic style but as a child growing up with Kenner Super Powers (when they were brand new) you're not going to beat them. The quality was great. The sculpts were great.
So interesting: had no idea that Playmates has its own factory. Or that it is one of the only toy makers that does.
Yep.
Cool show! I didn't know that Playmates owns its factory. I feel better about buying the reissues now. They are not "retro" facsimiles, but actual 5th, 6th, 7th, runs of classic figures. The original line was so cool as 3/4 of the entire line was seemingly carried forward every year.
It would be so cool if Playmates dropped that later wave with Scratch, Hot Spot, Halfcourt, Sandstorm, and Mon Lisa.
You’d buy it?
I bought some of the re issue tmnt and they are different from the old ones - slight difference in paint, my bebop has solid black legs they didn't paint his metal leg thing. Stuff like that nothing crazy but still different.
There are several variants to that bebop. The head sculpt ranges on various colors of pink
Really interesting video, but one comment I'd have in favor of SW Retro, Super Powers, etc. - if the original molds don't physically exist, then you have no choice but to do what you can. Sure, maybe some of these figures are not perfect, but I really like the various retro offerings, I'm glad they exist.
Makes me wish/want to have a factory in the USA...
I understand Bobby’s take on why the TMNT reissues are authentic which they are but they are not identical. The rereleases have way less paint detail than the original’s. The plastic is also different, they are going with a softer plastic now so while they are using the same mold they are not the same
But they made changes when they reissued them 6 months or a year after the original release too
@@ToyAttics the changes made back are not nearly as noticeable as the changes now. Look at the reissue Bebop and he looks nothing like the original. Most of the paint detail isn’t even in the reissue
It’s clear playmates is doing everything they can to make them as cheap as possible to meet that $10 price point
@@DudeRetro they still look so good. The matte paint looks so much better
I always wondered why Hasbro/Kenner never brought out a vintage line of G.I. Joes.
Very true
Are you talking about the 0-Ring Joes? They kind of did - there were a few 2-packs they released, and a couple of figures came with a special version of a Transformer.
This was like watching paint drying - and realizing you used the wrong color....
You didn't focus on the Super Powers line. You talked mostly about the Turtles.
I think you should have covered the difference in the molds of the McFarlane figures... compared to the original Kenner-Styled figures.
That's the 'rub' that's going on with the new Super Powers line. The differences in the size and scale of figures in this line.
Now, ... McFarlane is giving us more of the Kenner-styled figures that go with the Original Kenner figures... which is Greatly appreciated.
The Detective Batman, the Black-suited Batman, the two Robins, Sinestro, Brainiacs, ... the Hal Jordan-Green Lantern... Blue Beetle....are in the Kenner style and scale.
I'm starting to really love this new line. Even the selections are improving...!!
We definitely focused on the super powers line. We definitely talked about the differences in the molds
Purpose of Putting new art is to refer to the Fans that followed/Liked that era of Batman etc. Super Powers is a specific look/style that is made for new and old collectors. In order to McFarlane to expand the line he will make varieties of the same character and come out with characters never made. This is one of the best process in expanding a line that was once limited on characters produced.
I would agree
Exosquad!!!
Came to say the same thing! Looking forward to that video.
i have those ikea shelves too!
I think maybe McFarlane wanted to showcase more modern artists for the packaging, and give the figure a Super Power style interpretation of the more modern art. It’s a decision.
Does the bald guy have double jointed elbows? Lol. That’s funny.
writing this while watching the video so addressing points as they appear sorry for the length
the equivalent to the 70s superfriends batman is what mcfarlane calls knightfall batman. it is a different one on the back of the box, at 11:33 you see it as number 12. the one you are showing is the hush version (number 3) its meant to be a completely different suit. its like showing keaton suit and saying its afflecks. two different costumes good tip is if you look at the barcodes it tells you what comic the figure is based on
older collectors might have the original superpowers but modern collectors like myself born in 1985 grew up with stuff like kenner batman the animated series so it is good to get refreshes of the iconic designs especially for those that rarely change their looks such as superman or barry allen
to use your vader comparison if you notice in the movies his suit changes between episode 3, rebels clone wars, new hope, empire and jedi . at superpowers scale/style using mostly the same body and just recolouring those differences don't really come across as much (you wont see the different button layout on the chest for example or the different brow on the helmet
for the authenticity query we can use gi joe as an example by itself. is swivel arm less authentic than straight arm? given they redone the entire line a year later, does a new articulation point mean those are separate lines entirely?
for details after molding paint can also play a huge factor there are people online that have customised the paint on the original Hasbro black series figures and the mold itself is fantastic but paint slop and lack of shading lost everything but modern reissues use the new digital printing process making most of hasbros headsculpts a lot clearer than before.
joe filecards have always been integrated into the play pattern. the pit used to have a secret place for them in the floor. however most other toylines the kids had to make their own folders or wallets etc unless it was trading cards where companies would sell special folders for them. i believe the hall of justice had something similar but don't quote me on that.
I agree the details accesories and play system with action force are fantastic as the great toy reviewer emgo316 says "its an option, and options ... are good!" never seen them in person however unfortunately one of the downfalls of glasgow geek shopping.
ive never been a fan of dynamic posing as It tends to warp figures, bad enough it happens with weapons and spears (my mattel thundercats lion-o sword was almost a circle) never mind figure that cant stand because of it
motu in the last few years have tried to redo powers of grayskull multiple times from classics to masterverse to origins so they are trying that scenario of finishing the figures that were unreleased or in limited quality. in fact theres a rumour they are redoing the dinosaurs and giants soon.
now we come to the end. it was a good video thanks to you both. all in all I think that personally im a different style of collector than both of you. I collect representaions of characters rather than the line itself. so for example if its media based I go main cast in primary deco > recurring characters > main cast in secondary costumes > favourite episodes > favourite characters > other media such as tie in books or games.
regardless of how we collect though, it takes all of us together to make a succesful line
I kind of like what Todd is doing, even with the mixed messages - some are vintage character styles - sort of remakes, and some are completely new. I just hope he makes versions of Shazam and Cyborg...
I feel the same way
Interesting format. Almost looks like hot ones with the camera setup. The interview show with the spicy wings. Mcfarlane likes to promote the modern comics since he knows the artists. I think that's why he puts modern versions of characters in the super powers line. Even made the Batman who laughs which was really out of place.
This was an entertaining show.
Thanks! Yea, just a basic interview set up
Like watching my fingernails grow on my favorite toy line
What?
yeah, if playmates has the scratch mold, they need to make him. hands down instant sell.
I've been pushing for the Droids/Ewoks prototypes but instead we get the Acoshyte
Sorry
It's just insane...with Suicide Squad, Birds of Prey, the JLA cartoons, movies and DC tv series, the TITANS being everywhere...Doom Patrol series, Swamp Thing, Blue Beetle, the upcoming DC movies coming up. They could easily be mixing up this line with so many characters that would sell. Like you both said, they could have easily recreated the almost EXACT scale and molds for the new line. Check TOY OTTER out, he nails the continuation of this line AND Secret Wars.
I'll have to check him out. Can you direct me to a certain video?
Toyotter doesn't have videos that I'm aware of. He has Instagram and Facebook accounts. Both are called "Toyotter".
Oh. Bummer

Interesting chat. Love the OG Super Powers line. Mainly the first wave. Pick up the odd figure here and there.
Big Robin collector so I was keen for McF's Super Powers just to pick up another Boy Wonder figure. But then I see it's Tim Drake Robin. Since I only collect Dick Grayson Robin, I was bit disappointed. Hope they still bring him out. If not, I've still got Batman '66...
You only collect robin?
@@ToyAttics Yeah, Robin is pretty much the only superhero character I collect. And ONLY Dick Grayson! Pick up the odd Batman and Spider-Man. But only if it's something from my childhood, late-70s/80s...
That’s such an interesting choice
The thing about modern reproductions that bugs me the most is the paint being matte
I love the matte
WHY.... The matte is fantastic.
vintage TMNT fit perfectly on Ringside collectibles stands. modern reissues do not because their foot holes are 5mm (thereabouts).
Do they?
@@ToyAtticsyeah mate, i use them for my turtles and a few other figures that have difficulty standing up.
Can you make a video about the “Playmates fire?” i think that would be very interesting. Thanks
I want new manga BM Suer Powers but no more in stores here Target or Ross last I saw was on clearance at WM got a Deathstroke for $3
I got mine from Toy Federation
Im hoping since he is working with hasbro on things maybe he can get his hands on the kenner molds
He’s not working with Hasbro
@ToyAttics he got permission to use transformers from hasbro to do page punchers. Mattel worked with hasbro to do transformers hot wheels. If these things can happen why can't we see a collaboration to get original super powers or original secret wars figures? Sometimes it pays to keep an open mind.
Ok
What val was trying to say about tmnt reissue I can break it down. Continuation, that what tmnt is since it's on the original molds. It's just a Continuation so it's not a reissue. It's the legit og figures.
Yes
I like McFarlane Super Powers line, but I decided to just buy the all new figures… the redos I avoid or, if they come in a set or have a very cheap price, I buy to just put them inside the vehicles.
I believe, Todd wants to "renew" or expand Super Powers line with modern characters design. The Batman Jim Lee has no circle on his chest, same as the picture. He wants older customers who used to collect Kenner Super Power to buy more cause of the modern design. And he wants younger customers who consider modern design as the definitive design to jump into the line too. It doesnt mean that Todd has to copy Kenner Super Power line older design only. I think, it is reasonable marketing decision.
I would agree
I worry that the problem is trying to serve two masters and pleasing neither. I dont think modern collectors care about SP cardbacks or limited articulation retro figures.
Cobra Kahn is Motu lol! TMNT was Scale tail
I did not like the Hush Batman Todd did for Super Powers.
I wouldn't mind more desert variants in Action Force. Like Desert Rollout or Desert Eclipse.
The real question is... are tmnt collectors scared that figures like Scratch & Hot Spot could be reissued?
Probably. I hate those figures anyway haha
Is super heroes he man the same brand ?
No
The Playmates reissues are pretty different from the original releases imo.. just take the OG 4 Turtles; they have different heads, different cardback artwork, different paint, etc.
Looking closely at the reissues, ALL of the artwork has been redone. And now we know the Technodrome is gonna be downsized, so do we really think Playmates has their original tools??
It seems to me they've been rebuilding these reissues from the ground up...
It's a toy the difference is one is thirty years old and one is new for today
Classic Batman is selling on Ebay now at ridiculous prices. He wasnt a common figure back in the day, now they did it again. This is absurd.
I can't believe Valverse failed 2 know that new Grey batman logo is the Japanese logo. Come on UR in the actual manufacturing biz!!!! 4 TMNT N MOTU standing issues a lil tiny bit of "Gorilla Mounting Putty" solves that display issue. Hope Playmates makes most if not all the TMNT reisssues that b cool esp the Monster icons those would sell like hotcakes.
He wasn’t familiar with the McFarlane versions
@@ToyAttics Nah Nah Valverse not worming out of this one he is a huge DC fan esp Batman N works in the toy industry so he should known that was the BATMAN logo from Japan. Not just the Asian symbols bu the actual shape of the bat logo.
Why?
Please let Playmates re-release Scratch and Hot Spot. Probably the only way I'll ever be able to pick those up.
You’d be game for that?
@@ToyAttics I would. Usually not into reissues, but Bobby makes a great point about releasing reissues of some of the harder to find figures in different lines. Love the channel btw.
Thanks so much! Yea, I’m a fan of all reissues. Waiting for a sewer samurai reissue
I think McFarlane Super Powers is great, except for the first wave with the bad capes and missing peg holes. My action figures don't need action features to make me happy.
I feel the same way
Playmates cheaps out on the paint apps which is why collectors would rather have the originals
Wow!! Did not know they made a manga Batman for super powers line . Super cool
McFarlane did yes
Mcfarlane does a couple things good and a lot of things wrong, a lot of things.
I love the line myself. Something about the 7 POA and simple sculpts catch the call back well. I wasn’t much on Super Powers back then but more so Batman Returns/ Dark Knight Collection lines from Kenner. There are some frustrations with the line more so with character selections. I more invested in this line than the main 7 inch one.
great video, a wealth of information here.
Glad you think so!
Are guys purposely not showing the detective batman
Didn’t have it
It's time for this to be said and I don't care about the backlash I get here's the deal I'm tired of Batman figures Spider-Man figures Wolverine figures and Optimus Prime figures it's like these are the only figures toymakers know how to make for some reason you can't even finish a full collection because the maker is too busy making another Batman figure or another Spider-Man or another Optimus Prime or another Wolverine for God's sake...hey toy makers could you finish a damn collection?! You know here's a great idea could somebody finish the Gotcha Man collection? Do you think we can actually get a definitive Johnny Sokko and his flying robot? Here's a crazy idea could one of these toy makers take a shot at doing a GI Joe collection the same scale as the M.A.S.K. toyline?
I see Mcfarlane and I click, I’m a simpleton 😖
Click
I hate those new Super Powers figures, just a big No imo, unfortunately I never had any of the original versions
When you want to hate just for the sake of hating, they are selling like hotcakes, so deal with it. DC decides which images come with the figure, not McFarlane. If they do not want to use an image, McFarlane cannot do anything about it.
Do you know this to be true?
If McFarlane had just stuck to retro figs and colors first, I would've started this line. But the moment I saw the modern Batman, I was out. I like come on, the light blue and grey Batman is the fig that collectors want.
Lost all interest immediately after seeing wave 1.
I’ve said it on other channels and forums, but I just wish that mcfarlane or someone can do the proposed, unreleased 4th wave of figures Kenner was thinking of doing and in the same kind of mold style.
They’d have to have the molds
Do actual kids buy action figures anymore or is it mostly Gen X hanging onto their childhood? I like these videos, but they mostly feature dudes in their 40’s.
Things have moved to video games. This channel is definitely for the Gen X generation.
Millennial

As per usual McFarland makes too much Batman.
But Batman is awesome

Just creating product like companies do
@@ToyAttics yea I get it...I guess I meant, too Batmans lol. I do want that Justice Lord and gold Superman as the justice lord is my favorite suit, I'd love, love to see that suit in a movie!
I disagree with the notion that the Kenner line would've lasted longer with more Batman. Of course, Batman was popular, but he wasn't a "thing" the way he is now, and has been since the '89 movie.
He was very much a thing then. They would’ve benefited from releasing more Batman and Superman figures
@ToyAttics Yeah, but "variants" weren't really a thing back then, outside of very few characters. Batman and Superman had been mostly unchanged since the 30's. I was 9 when Super Powers came out. On the Superfriends cartoon, the show that basically inspired this toy line, Batman & Robin spent much of their time getting captured and then rescued by Superman, or someone else with powers. Batman was certainly popular, but he wasn't ABSOLUTELY EVERYWHERE like he was during and after the '89 movie, a cultural phenomenon. Before that movie, a Batman only toy line would've failed. MAYBE a Superman line would've sold, because he had movies out back in the early 80's, but I have my doubts about that too.
You might be right.
Bald man is an adult baby
Maybe not everyone got the same stuff you got. Sounds like adult whining to me.
