Great overall video of Toylanta! Really enjoyed the personal interviews from each selected vendors. Having missed out on attending this awesome event. I still felt like I was actually there; great job!
This dude traveled from the interstate to a black top road , to a gravel road to a logging road to dirt road and risked his life for a collector's item 😂❤
She sounded very disinterested and generic. Appeal is good, but the robot responses are a turn off for any collector/enthusiast. Hire the lady from the 9:00 segment.
Doesn't know a daaamn thing about any of it. Kept referring to everything as "toy" "toys." Such a corny move to get viewership. Channel does fine without an infiltrating bimbo.
Thundercats Tongue-A-Saurus was released in 1987. I would think an owner of such a rare piece would at the very least know the year it was released. it's not early '80s that's for sure.
Just found your channel good video Ashley did a good job, and man that was so cool seeing those rare toys this show looked like it was awesome!!!!!!!!!
She was very interested and I think that shows. I purposefully picked someone who wasn’t familiar as to not have an edge or an agenda and put the focus on the vendors and toy makers and ask questions based out of genuine curiosity
Pretty, but needs to seem more interested and smile and ask more questions. Also, at 7:35 when did Larry Bird start selling rare toys at toy conventions, lol. I can't be the only one. lol
No point in saying what's already been said. She is really out of place though. There's zero relatability between her and collectors. This reminds me of the early 90's when it was every dudes dream that any girl (no matter what she looked like) would be into videos games. The reality was quite a bit different. Pretty much the same thing when it comes to toy collecting, only now these are mostly adults collecting kids toys. Why beat around the bush? Lets face it, there is a certain "type" of adult who collects toys. The kindest most constructive thing I can say is just that she isn't relatable and probably made everyone feel a bit uncomfortable.
😂 she could care less. Very monotone, vague and generic questions and responses . I’m sorry. I’m all for women breaking the traditional male toy tuber cycle but she was just a face yall hired to get views. Hire a woman toy expert and earn my subscription 😊
Ashley was a great show guide, more of her please ... bravo Madam ! I may collect toys but I'm still a guy and not dead yet. PS - definitely like that 'Savage Crucible' line ... but why has no one done proper space action figures a la "Major Matt Mason" (circa late 60's early 70's) ?
I like Ashley, but I think she needs to say "toy" less. She needs to know the lines so she can ask relevant questions at the moment, but otherwise, keep at it! She sounds like a model trying to pad her resume. Get her up to speed, get her to have some historical knowledge, and to have a favorite and soon she'll have her own show!
Was purposefully using someone who didn’t have knowledge of toys and she used the word toy because they are toys. That’s such a weird thing to say not to use
@@ToyAttics Relax, dude. How about try to change it up a bit? Use collectible, or figure, statue, or series. It's so robotic and boring as it is. There ya go since you want to be so weirdly defensive about it. Is she interviewing or just there to say talk about your merch while they film my tank top? She doesn't even need to be in front of the camera with how little she contributes but we both know why she actually is. Gotta get that view count up, right? Purposely used someone with no knowledge of toys...why? For comedy? Its not funny. To see how she reacts? She doesn't. So she can ask generalized questions over and over and say "Ok" seven hundred times? Well, you got that out of it. Sorry for interacting. This channel isn't for me. Keep up the...work.
Man, Trish was my go to bartender at a club in Toronto called Kaboom, 1997. To think I would kiss and hug her every week for months when we hit that club, she was a package back then.
@@juliev4522 It was me XD Lol aww, thanks Julie, and thank you guys so much for the interview! It was a privilege to be included among all these other amazing dealers. Also Ashley was a sweetheart and I would love to see her back!
Who wants to see more content from Ashley at toy cons?
She was carrying the real toys all along.
I wana see more of Ashley. She's hot.
Let her do all of the interviews - awesome job 🎉
Easy on the eyes
She can do all the interviews from now on
Guys, let's not chase away the pretty lady. She did a nice job and I would definitely love to see her again.
Thank you
@@ToyAttics my pleasure. If she asks there is a loud vocal group who appreciate her work and thought she asked very smart questions

Thanks for showing a wide variety, as well as talking to the store owners.
Our pleasure! What was your favorite?
Rare star wars stuff always is interesting@ToyAttics
Yes, I don’t know much about Star Wars but that always seems to do well when we post it on Toy Federation
She sounded very disinterested and generic. Appeal is good, but the robot responses are a turn off for any collector/enthusiast. Hire the lady from the 9:00 segment.
That’s definitely an opinion
Agreed, was thinking the same
Funny you say this. Not like it matters to me, but she didn't seem happy.
@@ToyAttics it's the right opinion
"yes" "ok" "wow" "okay?" "Ok" "sure" "wow very cool" yeah". She had me rolling

Great coverage! So much going on and I think you pinpointed some key vendors and excellent pieces. 🤙🏽
Thank you! We tried!
@@ToyAttics 👏🏽
Couldn't find a single pretty/cute girl thats actually into toy collecting? I think I saw one or two in the background
I purposely chose someone who would have a genuine interest without an agenda
@@ToyAttics ...but you had an agenda of course
Yes, I wanted a video of the event and I can’t film myself so I hired an actor.
Haters gonna hate, most of us would rather see Ashley than some basement dwelling mouth breather. So good choice! 😂
@@ToyAttics We all undestood that you where the guy filming. You never lost focus. Well done.
I’m so mad I’ve never heard of Toylanta. Especially since I was born and grew up there.
You must go next year!
It used to be called JoeLanta (GI JOE) 🍻
She did fantastic 👏

@@ToyAttics Sorry, buddy 😄 I like the concept of searching out the rare toys from each vendor. Looked like a great show.
Haha. Thanks

Thanks for watching!
These comments are wild. Only toy collectors would see a video with a pretty interviewer at a toy convention and still find reasons to complain.
Thank you
facts lol gatekeepers are wild
You were very smart to send her. I see what you did there.
What did I do?
10:55 shout out to Captain Lou Albano

😂
Does she know anything about toys? All I heard was you ask a question and respond with yea and sure and nice.
Purposely hired someone without bias to spotlight the vendors and toy makers.
😂
Tony is struggling to keep eye contact 🎉😂
shes pretty but doesnt seemlike she gives a crap about anything or is even slightly interested

@@ToyAttics you're probably right
Tongue-A-Saurus was part of Series 3, so it was likely released in 1987.
Ah. Thanks for the note
Ryan, from Toy Federation was trying to hold his laughter in…I thought they would have spent more time with him
Laughter for what?
“Oh fun” “wow”. Her lack of real interest is beyond obvious. She can barely smile, as if it will mess up her makeup… 😐
There’s no need for this
Pretty, but needs to seem more interested and smile and ask more questions. Also, at 7:35 when did Larry Bird start selling rare toys at toy conventions, lol. I can't be the only one. lol
I really love it when people just watch and enjoy the video.
