Thank you very much!! It is way more condensed and detailed than the wiki version and also with tips included!! As a returning player this is extremely helpful!
Yes! This is part of the monthly update for November, we get these kind of updates every month! There's quite an active group of streamers on twitch as well if you want a peak at what the game is like now. 👍
@@Fierlyt I'm still confused; a leather Long Bow has a range of 2000, and an Ego Leather Long Bow has a range of 2500 (in the old system) does that still apply in the new system?
Sorry, for some reason I read "max attack damage" instead of range. No, none of the old system carries over. The current effects are entirely summarized by the enhancements. Generally, that bonus range is not seen as valuable in the current meta and especially because archery doesn't miss anymore based on aim %. It used to be important to have the max range to increase your aim speed so you would miss less. That's just no longer the case. In fact, you even hit targets that are beyond your max range, but the damage dealt is reduced to 1.
@@Fierlyt Thank you kindly for the clarification, and surprisingly quick response times too. My disappointment is immeasurable though, i just want to hit things out of render distance. XD
How perfect this my wings and my race transformation is what i miss the most :))))) maybe i domt need my old character back :) how long from making a new character till i get a spirit weapon?:)
Auction House or Potion Making. White Herbs are available in homesteads or from hornets at Silva Forest. Elemental removers can be purchased from NPSs like Lassar. I really loathe that you cant Ego two of the same weapon.....my dream of duel Ego Beam swords is forever just a dream. Also you should have touched on what happens to A weapon when you make it an ego. Say for example my question is What if I put an ego on a Fully upgraded Weapon That also is maxed on Blue or Red Stones.
Nothing happens to the weapon if you put an ego on or move an ego off of it, regardless of upgrades, reforges, enchants, erg, special upgrades, or appearance scroll status. It wasn't specified in the video because there is no change or consequence other than it becoming a spirit weapon in addition to those things. It can also gain or change those other statuses after becoming a spirit weapon.
@Fierlyt well that's not entirety true. I had a cleam rank1 reforge beam sword for clarity meaning there was not actual reforge on it but in the reforge section it simply read rank1 but as so as I put an ego on it the rank1 vanished. And 8 seem to recall the same would happen to upgrades if you egoed it. But to be fair that was something I heard when the old school spirit weapon stuff was a thing. Lol so I'm hesitant to make the attempt
My statement is true in its entirety. What you encountered was either the old system that doesn't exist anymore, or a visual bug and it still has rank 1. While recording for this video I moved the same ego between every weapon type (including atlatl and lance, which I can't equip) and then back onto my staff.
@Fierlyt lol leave it to mabi to fool me with a visual bug XD but in truth that being if putting spirit on an upgraded wep won't remove the upgrade that makes my face smile
I am a returning player. When I changed from a classic spirit weapon to the new type of spirit weapon the glowy spirit ball is no longer on the handle, it is now out of place can you please tell me how to fix that??
That isn't a bug, that's how the new spirits appear. If you want a different appearance, there are many spirit transformation liqueurs to choose from! (Thematically, they discovered a new way to create spirit weapons that can be applied to any weapon and moved between weapons without consequences. This is visually represented by the spirit being separate from the weapon instead of caged inside it.)
Update: Eavan's Part Time Job also gives gems as a reward. Seems a lot of folks are doing this to feed their spirit weapons now!
Omg a video from this year that is actually useful and explain things in Mabinogi. I can die happily D;
thanks i haven't made a spirit weapon since whenever they came out and could not figure out wtf the new system was

Looks like the game is still not only alive and kicking but is getting some good updates too.

WHOAHHH GUYS!!! I was keeping my ego in the basement and not feeding it for days but it's still alive??? AMAZING!!!
Appreciate this video! Looking into what ego to make next for my elf (primary magic use, alchemy secondary? for now) :)
The nostalgia from OG Eiry!
do Bow/Cross bow egos still give increased attack range like in the older systems?
Everything in this video is up to date, except the method of leveling spirit weapons noted in the pinned comment.

It's the final quest for Book 3 of Blaanid's Brave Boost. Fairly quickly depending on how you pace yourself.
If you transfer your spirit weapon to another weapon does it get to keep the appearance and liqueur?
Yes, it will maintain all the transformation liqueurs it has slotted.
how to you get the 10 Spirit Liqueur? do you mine for them?

can humans dual wield spirit swords?
0:54 - You can only have one spirit of each type. For example, you can have a spirit staff and a spirit wand, but you can not have two spirit staves.
@@Fierlyt can you have both I could've sworn you can only have 1 magic weapon. I may be misinformed though.
Yes, you can have 1 staff ego and 1 wand ego. They are classified as different weapon types.
@@Fierlyt interesting, I'll have to get a wand ego set up. Ty for the tips!
lol that ending gave me a chuckle. Does removing a spirit transformation liquer destroy the liquer you removed?
Yup. Poof. Gone forever.
