    Very informative and helpful to new players. I'm happy to see more content creators working on mabinogi videos/guides again!
    Im a very old player that just came back to find out nexon finally improved the beginner and end game experience, only lacking mid game improve to keep all these new players and grow the community once more! Guides likes this also help that growth, keep the good work!

    I'm a returning player way past the tutorial and this is super helpful! I was wondering if you could do a video on homesteads and how to use the well? Thanks for the useful info!

      I'll be making a video public here in a minute. I made it for the breaks Mabinerd and I took during the 24 hour live stream. It's the least helpful, but most epic guide on how to use a well that you'll ever see.
      I'll definitely look into seriously making a video on homesteads.

    Hi, did you ever make that homestead video? Can you give us a quick cliffnotes version how to level up our homestead for this guide? I don't know what I'm doing, do we mine the stones every day, but I don't have any Pon, isn't that a cash shop currency, don't we have to spend real money to get Pon? But most everything in homestead requires Pon

    • @Fierlyt
      @Fierlyt  2 года назад

      Nothing in homestead requires pon (except the second homestead stone pile and some of the animals). Pon is an alternative cost to the other listed resources.

    • @Tom67Slick
      @Tom67Slick 2 года назад

      @@Fierlyt but it seems like almost everything has "create" greyed out and only use pon is available, and required materials is blank even when I'm at the right homestead level

    I heard maxing production mastery was bad because of skills like Refine require failures to rank up. does that still hold true?

    • @Fierlyt
      @Fierlyt  2 года назад

      Getting a skill to a high rank doesn't prevent you from using other means to train other skills. I'm unaware of any issues regarding this as I got rank 1 refining long after I already had rank 1 production mastery and never had to reset or use other methods to make it harder to succeed for training.
      There are items you can get from events to decrease your success rate, you can craft harder items (unless it requires a specific type of failure), or even reset the production mastery skill to rank F if necessary using skill reset pills or Duncan for a full reset.
      You do not need to complete every requirement to rank up, only enough to reach 100 points of training. With the bonus training from talent (+.1x for every 10 levels over 100, 2x at level 200) which doesn't use up requirement count, you only need to get to 50/100 to rank up which allows you to skip even more things.

    Hi, can you explain how you said it's little to no effort and just log in every day and get 30K for the fynni whistles, but don't you still have to gather the gems? Can lowlevels that just did Alby basic get higher gems, where you recommend we get the gems? Do you farm a lot beforehand before blossoming?

    • @Fierlyt
      @Fierlyt  2 года назад +1

      Most content has mobs that drop them. Without trying I have hundreds of the little things in my bank. As you rank up fynni catching the rate that you get them goes up, to the point I don't even pick them up anymore. The common places to get rank A gems are Fiodh dungeon (any difficulty), and Alby Advanced/AAHM, but rank B and down gems are everywhere.
      It's as simple as when you first login you check the cages, collect the whistle and replace the gem, then go do what you were going to do. Because you can sell the whistles up to 30 a day for gold, you don't need to stop by every day to sell them but you could if you wanted too. Each character can have up to 4 cages in their homestead so as you build up the other 3 cages your income from the whistles will increase. You can store both the gems and the whistles in the bank so if you have more than one character you play on, each one can do this with their own homestead and you have a place to store the whistles until you're ready to sell them.
      If you've finished the tutorial already, you should be total level 5k with blaanid's gear. You've plenty of resources to be strong enough to do more than Alby basic. If you haven't done Blaanid's Brave Boost yet, do that first then come back to this.

    Hi is this video still valid today? Thanks

    • @Fierlyt
      @Fierlyt  2 года назад

      For the most part, yes. There were crafting changes that allow you to directly craft Fine Fabric instead of it being a random chance to get Cheap, Common, Fine, or Finest. This actually makes it easier.
      The other difference is that the equips given by the revamped Blaanid quests also gift you an armor that is better than the one from the Dungeon Guide and some extra inventory bags compared to the version I recorded this in. Very minor differences. Everything in the video is still valid despite those changes.
      Edit: Oh, and market prices will obviously be variable. I have no control over that.
