Another great tip, mate! I feel like I’m pulling down my left hand and right elbow simultaneously, keeping the elbow in front. It really works, man I wish I would’ve heard this tip 20 years ago! Bravo!
thanks :-) as long as you get the feel of getting the right elbow in front of the right hip as you pull, you will never steepen the shaft, its the correct way to do it 👍
Over my 70 years I’ve read and tried many things. Most end up doing me more harm than good. I have a self taught swing which was very successful for many years but between magazine articles, RUclips and age I was questioning what I knew to be true. I purchased a gFORCE shaft a few days ago. Last night I cut it to length and installed the sleeve that matches my driver. I’m very excited to see if you are able to help me, “Unlearn” many of these bad habits which have crept into my swing. Take care and wish me luck, Wes
Good luck Wes, its going to help you eliminate destructive swing thoughts and turn them into feelings, any questions just get in touch, all the training is on the website here 👍www.gforcegolf.com/
I had sometimes amazing great flush shots when I dropped my hands but I think (not sure) it was after I used my lower body in downswing. However, I also had inconsistent shots. Maybe timing is so difficult to do every time. Any thoughts. ? Thank you.

Admittedly I did not trust this move because I hit the ball fat. Probably because I was too vigorous from the top. However I have discovered that with a gentle tug of the club down, combined with a slight lateral movement of the hips, then clearing the hips , the result can be jaw- dropping. Does it work with woods?
I agree, I think it’s weird how this is not taught by most instructors (particularly RUclips instructors - aside from AMG guys who talk about this point in detail). I don’t think you are quite right with getting your arms close to you point, your arms come down but they are also extending and you are losing wrist hinge, basically you want to create width for speed. It looks like arms are getting closer to body but that’s just because of the weight shift to lead leg ie the body is not in a static position
Yeah if you speak to mechanical engineers and physicists they also agree on the pull, we use Centripetal Force in the swing so pulling towards the centre of rotation is how we use that force correctly, also the hands move down very fast in transition so pulling is required to do that, also the club / hands have a long way down to travel and sync up with the body rotation. Body rotation alone cannot get the club down on its own, neither can gravity, you need to pull it down. The weight shift is small in comparison with how much the swing narrows on the way down, you don't want width as that will stall rotation, Angular Momentum is the key - see my Ice Skater Analogy video here ruclips.net/video/msDo1WEkdgA/видео.html Unfortunately if a influential coach thinks different to this concept, then they influence other coaches to adopt their thinking believing it is correct, and then those coaches go on to teach students with the wrong concepts and make videos on social media, so its a downward spiral of progression for golfers :-(
maybe you are trying to lean the shaft too much and so not releasing it correctly causing the heel and shank problem..? check out this recent video on the release which will help, let me know if this works better for you, you need to pull it down and then let it release 👍 ruclips.net/video/gR3ikUalSAA/видео.html
You have to keep your hips and shoulders locked in place when you start the downswing. Bring arms down from the shoulders, chest facing away from ball. Do not pull from hands you will hurt your wrists.
Pull or drop?? I'm encouraged that you are on precipice of the # 1 flaw of 99% of golfers. Pull/Cast/Yank/Kill=spin over top." Drop" against closed chest/shoulders [with back to target] IS EXTREMELY difficult, "PULL" is IMPOSSIBLE. There are dozens of BACK TO TARGET drills. This is all what Jim Venetos teaches in 300 videos for example BUT PULL is the wrong TRIGGER. Do you have any other suggestions on HOW TO STAY CLOSED [ non cast/spin] coming down?
Here is a good reason why you need to pull the club, you need to change the direction of the momentum created from the clubs motion on the backswing. ruclips.net/video/-ykQsdsEdnA/видео.htmlsi=BDAVcB55G_Z0KU4q
This video is a bit misleading because Garcia is not suggesting you pull down with the arms without rotating the body. He is talking about a feeling, but the effect is different from the feeling. All good players hips begin to move in the downswing before the arms. That’s what transition is. The downswing beginning before the backswing had finished.
video yourself from down the line, chances are you are coming up out of your posture (shoulders leveling out on backswing, or hips thrusting towards the ball (early extension) Staying in your posture is key to the pull 👍 Check this video out, head on wall butt on chair drill ruclips.net/video/gxSaIrBm8Z4/видео.html

Great explanation!
Thanks. Did you happen to have the link to the Garcia video?

i have found it's what i have to do also, thnx for the help.

Yes work the same with your woods set up 👍
What is the make or model or name of the golf mat you are using?
type in "Golf Teaching Mat" online and they should show up 👍
totally agree with everything - but what on earth is the shaft flex of your clubs?? Might as well just use a garden hose 😄
You seem to have missed a very basic point - he is using the excellent training club he has invented. Look up G force golf.
G force golf mate - it’s a winner

I think Overhand Golf’s Holy Grail move makes this happen as well. Check it out.
Great
Didn’t work for me, kept shanking the ball out of the heel. Any thoughts?

i find feeling leaving the club at the top while firing hips works for me.....if that is what actually happens is a different story!
