I've had the privilege to meet Pattie and have a little chat several times. She's a gorgeous human being with a massive heart. I adore her softspoken voice and her brilliant insights into life. Thank you, Pattie! xoxo
I’ve also been lucky enough to meet her and she was incredibly sweet and kind. She’s still gorgeous, inside and out. I can see why George and Eric were so besotted by her. I love her stories about her modeling days. She’s had an incredible life.
I was here! My question was at 44:58 Pattie was so so lovely, it was incredible to meet her, we had a lovely chat, she even told me she liked my hair and my handbag and she even told me I was pretty which I thought was especially lovely and very flattering coming from her! Such a lovely lady ❤
I understand this video is a year old, however, it’s one of the most interesting of any of the interviews I’ve watched of Ms Boyd. Brilliant questions with honest answers from a delightful woman who managed to be in the center of the most exciting time of an era. The Beatles changed the music business both in composition and message. I’m grateful I was young and quite alive then. Thank you a million times for this look into a very historic time plus the opportunity to see the genuine Patty Boyd 🙏🪷❤️
I read her autobiography. Both george and Eric werent that nice to her. She deserved so much more. Every interview ive seen her in, shes simply lovely. Classy lady!
I can't even imagine how many times Patti has described her first meeting with George, and yet it always sounds fresh- over almost 60 years, it would drive me a bit crazy ;-). But she is lovely.
Loved watching this. I read Pattie's autobiography and she has been through some very painful times in her life as well as all the fame. Great to see her looking so happy etc and wishing her well.
She's gorgeous. As an adolescent I kept a scrapbook of my favourite female stars...Cathy McGowan, Sandie Shaw, Cilla, Marianne...and Patti was in there. She was the Smith's Crisp Girl! She's so down to earth and unassuming.
I would love to meet Pattie Boyd! What an iconic woman and still so humble and sweet! I loved her book and how she and George first met along with all the other great stories!
Some of these questions were pretty good I must admit! I met her at the Beatles Festival in NJ March of 2008. I was the very 1st person waiting inline and waited 45 minutes . Some man came in ahead of me and wasted 20 minutes of Pattie’s time and when it came to my time they rushed me through. I was devastated by that I will never forget it
I loved listening to Patti tell us about her world and the people and fashion, shes very interesting, shes someone I could be friends with I think, I hope you read this Patti.
This article is several months old, but it says leave a question. I have a question I’d like to know. Did Pattie see George’s son Dhani and a model dressed as if they were George and Pattie. What did she think about that layout when they literally looked like the real George and Pattie? I’d love to know this! I hope Pattie would answer this one day. I’ve been a Pattie Boyd fan for a long time.
@@switzerbelle Anita was a tough cookie, a German take no prisoners type. Very famous! She dumped Brian Jones for Keith and had a son, Marlon, by him. I think she also tinkered with Jagger. Busy gal.
@@sheilaportington2247 Eric said in a bio that he was never in love with Pattie, merely obsessed. It was very hurtful. Then Pattie said that the love of her life had been George. I always thought she would have liked to have stayed with George...who probably was in deed her true love.
Check out her autobiography “wonderful tonight” it’s fantastic and goes into great depth surrounding her entire relationships with both George and Eric
...Yes, because she has such deep analytical skills... Interestingly, I see mostly female comments and accolades for her extensive intellectual abilites. I'll bet that she cooks a tremendous meal though, you can see that !! I can, however, see possiblities in her, beyond just book writing. Think about the possiblity of her teaming up with Yoko Ono, for songwriting and recording an album. The possibilities for sonic surprises would be endless !! Interestingly, none of The Beatles required much out of their women. Despite having massive fame, and availability to all kinds of interesting females who were educated and accomplished, none of The Beatles chose accomplished women, as wives. I guess that this is a testiment to their working class roots? It makes me wonder just how intellectual the members of The Beatles acually were, themselves. They seemed to operate on street smarts, more that "proper instruction or traditional research, with books, etc." They did this with music, and quite possibly in other areas. Of course they were young when they were selecting wives (for the most part) and hormones probably led the way, as it does with the majority of young men. So, their emphasis, on looks, in a woman, as a main motivator, could be understood by their ages.
I find it so sad Pattie is still exploiting her relationship with Eric Clapton and Harrison it cheapens her. They treated her very very badly. But she will never admit to this. Let’s put it this way I wouldn’t want my mother to be bragging about her cotconquests in her younger years. I have the greatest of respect for her before this book.
This was her life, and she is more than entitled to tell the story. They were Patti's marriages, lived as active participants in historic events and times. You demean Patti by referring to her marriages as conquests and exploitations, but the same pejorative attitude is noticeably missing in regards to the male musicians. They benefitted enormously by being married to a beautiful and charming woman, a top model in Britain. Her memoir is fascinating and the new fashion photography book is an important record of the era. You place no value on these things and think it gives you license to insult. Perhaps most galling is you seem to mock her for the abuse she received at the hands of her star husbands. Abuse is abuse. The shame doesn't belong with her.
@@Greenwings701 Although I would hardly describe being married to Harrison and Clapton has a historical event. The clothes of that Time are well documented by plenty of others. I respect your view we are all different.
