I love autobiographies and have read hundreds of them. I must say, Pattie’s book was one of the most interesting ones that I have read. She has led an amazing life and she was a cultural influencer, with grace.

The more I think about this, the more I feel on Pattie's behalf. Clapton should send Pattie the settlement she deserves. Better yet, Clapton should bid 1 million for the painting and then give it back to Pattie. Pattie seems a kind, elegant woman who is not saying the obvious, which is that Clapton was atrocious to her. Not to mention, without Pattie, there is no Layla, Wonderful Tonight, and a vast array of other inspirations. Hey #ericclapton George must have liked you for some reason. Do the right thing and be remembered better by history.
