Thank you for the great instructional video! I have a ton of winged termites coming out of the hardwood floor in an area adjacent to a wall with mulch on the outside. I did a little digging outside, and sure enough... i found termites in the mulch. I will follow the steps you recommended. I also have traces of winged termites on the second floorand in the basement adjacent to that same wall. How do i know if the infestation isn't in the actual wall and not just the mulch outside. I only found some some termites outisde (maybe less than 50), is that a sign of the full infestation?
@tymartin2293 as far as I know, yes. None of this happened again. I don't know if there is anything going on inside the walls, but there is No signs of them as far as I can tell.
While I respect your knowledge of termite biology and behavior you know as well as I do a 2-gallon hand can mixed up with Taurus SC is not nearly enough product to treat a 250 linear foot home you're giving the public a false sense of security. I'm not sure if the tourist rate is 2 gallons or 4 gallons per 10 linear feet but even at the 2-gallon rate on a 200 linear foot home would require a minimum of 40 gallons also at least 50% of the time termites are entering through a plumbing penetration expansion joint for crack in the slab and you know the homeowner does not have the proper equipment to drill through the slab treated properly. Has a 30-year termite man myself in the southeast United States as I said earlier I respect your knowledge biology and behavior but this is simply giving the public a false sense of security that they can treat a Subterranean termite issue on their own
Just noticed a bunch in my studio I'm renting.... So pissed off. And the solution are big jobs. But ima say somthing to the landlord because the wings and the termites themselves are still alive and crawling. And they are on my fucking bed!!!!
This has really helped e, thank you
What are some solutions for ticks and fleas?

What is the shelf life of Fipro and how do we know if it's expired or not?

I’m having the same issue right now. The complex manager won’t do a thing! I’ve been staying in a hotel.
Be blessed that you discovered termites and are only renting lol
