A great horror remix as always, the zombies look like an abomination of plants joined up together, and the sunflower is just creepy, the peashooter and wallnut seem confused and scared, as they should be
As Dr. Zomboss sulked in his chair, pondering why Crazy Dave always foiled his plans, he traced his defeats down to the root cause. Those plants. "If I can't beat them, I simply shall join them!" And with that stroke of genius, he immediately got to work replacing his zombie production machine to make new abominations of flora and fauna alike. Except something went horribly wrong. So wrong that even to this day, the echoes of his failed experiment still linger through Neighborville. The zombotanies weren't stoic and unerring as his former minions, but rather convulsed violently as they walked, and a dark substance oozed from their rotting orifices. The godforsaken things were still plants after all, just mutilated beyond recognition. As his zombotany creations were unsurprisingly slaughtered by Crazy Dave's superior plants, their bodies disappeared into mulch, but the heads... remained. Like the stump of a fallen tree, these corpses served as a reminder to the plants that they were committing genocide on their own kin.
