It does go low . Lush thick bass. Lots of power. I think mine is still breaking in but it's wonderful. Paired with walnut Linton's , and they can put a lot of bass out on their own, but the 98 brings the Loww magic to the party. Looks like it was designed for the Linton's. Cool.

I have the REL strata mk3 that looks just the same, also a Stadium 2. I remember being at a hifi show when the founder of REL Richard lord was demonstrating his stentor and stadium subs. This was a while before the public started to really get having a sub.

Hey John, How you doing? You probably don't remember me but we go back to the 1980's and DB Audio in Berkeley. We lived in Tahoe then and everytime we came to Bay Area we spent a lot of time (and money) in the old store. There was Doug, Garth, Patty you and who else? I LOVE everything about this sub and look forward to hearing it. But... I'm afraid I'm a no go unless and until they make a 15" version. They would match my walnut La Scala perfect. I just want more sub muscle than a 10" is gonna offer. In the meantime I'll keep rocking my older Velodyne ULD 15 with a down firing woofer. I'm a big fan of down firing 😊😊

All that hype for the mofi source point speakers and you hear nothing about them.they are a ok speaker. This industry is full of bull and you have to know how to see through it.
