      This 100%. I only got into photoshop about a week ago and basically every RUclipsr will say "I did this but you already know that" when I genuinely don't! PiXimperfect is amazing for that

      I was about to make a similar comment on another of his videos. I’m used to pausing tutorials by other people because a slight modification to settings or minor detail that got skipped. This guy is Photoshop.

    • @JustAnotherGamer1005
      @JustAnotherGamer1005 4 года назад +4

      What is also a fact, is that too many beginners start of at intermediate or advanced tutorials. Intermediate and advanced tutorials don't need to go in-depth into things you should already know as an intermediate and advanced user. And you can't go into detail with every basic step in an advanced tutorial and keep its duration short.
      Since everyone on RUclips can make a video, you also have a good portion of beginners who start making tutorials while they don't even fully understand the things they to themselves.
      That said, as an advanced user, I still skim through a lot of tutorials (from him and others) to see if there are things I could do differently. Nice thing about these softwares is that there are always multiple ways to achieve 1 thing. There is always something to learn no matter how advanced someone is.

    When it comes to the pen tool, I always found it easier (for me anyway) to do a quick 'hard' path around the object, then use the add anchor point tool to add my curves/bends to the path.
    I've always hated the method you and many others use, but that's Photoshop, 10 ways to do the same thing.
