  • The Complete Guide to Creating Shadows and Matching the Lighting in Compositing with Photoshop! Learn how to manually paint and create shadows and discover several techniques to add realism to it.       Great tutorial. What I do is paste the smart image to Blender and cast a shadow and copy it to PS as reference.

    The see through shadow was not super necessary but he adds the detail anyway.

    All of this channel tutorials are very important
    But really I think this tutorial is the most important one beacuse if the whole basic scene was arranged will witout correctly shading and lighting!!! In this case the scene will not be art work

    I'm sleep-deprived and it felt like I was watching Bob Ross just patiently talking about what he does on the canvas. Also, the way he just speaks and uses facial expressions feels so warming and welcoming to the viewer. Love these videos, every time a watch an old or new one.

    Also a quick tip. If you have the move tool selected, you can adjust opacity with the numbers bar. 1 = 10%, 2 = 20% and so on. Clicking 1 and 2 quickly after each other is 12%.
    If you want to adjust the fill, hold shift and click a number.
    If the brush is selected, the it applies to opacity and fill for the brush.
    Also 0 = 100%
