- I made tires out of stone and put them on a car. But will they work? I also made concrete tires and asphalt tires to see how those did.

I bet the guys who repair the local roads love you
This entire segment is filled with the anxiety of wondering if they ended up with a lawsuit from chipped stone, asphalt or concrete flying off at 60mph or a fine/charge for vandalism putting even more potholes into public roads.
The premise is interesting and entertaining don’t get me wrong but I get the sense we could all be watching this video for a different reason in an alternate universe.
Seriously. The moment I realized they were serious about driving on a straight up PUBLIC ROAD I felt like I needed to double check that this wasn't a liveleak video or something. And that was just with the massive CONCRETE tire, let ALONE the flimsy little limestone ones that were already half-way falling apart before they even started driving. Then this psychopath actually thought it was a good idea to HARDCORE ACCELERATE towards a stop sign with traffic up ahead.
Don't get me wrong, I respect the need to test dumb ideas with excessive scientific rigger, but holy shit these guys need SO many more safety standards in place.
...And that's not even touching on the very potential lawsuits. So, SO many possible lawsuits.
I was just sitting here wondering how many glass panes he'd take out on the apartments in the background if the concrete wheel detonated during the burnout. Then "there's people back there. Get a shot of those dudes back there". This channel is what you'd get if Tom Green was the son of a fab shop owner. Which is why I am subscribed, I guess.

@@Exarian Absolutely, roads are so expensive so if you're willingly causing damage to it and they know who you are they ought to sue you to get money for eventual repairs
At the start of the videos I was wondering if they actually were going to take this onto public roads. And then they did...
@@tobiasha93I thought it would be illegal. In Poland it is
@@bankaihampter2802 I'm pretty sure it is illegal. Damaging public property and also that car cannot be road legal like that.
The road I grew up on had someone gouge a fairly shallow line on the road, scraped off the very top flat layer of asphalt, didn't look like much. With typical UK having at least 5 full frost thaw cycles every year that tiny gouge ended up creating large cracks and a deterioration of the road. The council at the time were in the process of going broke so they didn't have the money to resurface the road, it got extremely bad and required emergency services who use the road to complain to get it fixed. The road had been fine for around a decade prior with no cracking.
These people should expect to pay for resurfacing the road, it doesn't look like much but it can develop and it's not their road to damage.
Also cars aren't toys, they're extremely dangerous, and this disregard for the danger has led to them thinking that doing a burnout with concrete was fine when if it did break apart there would be flying chunks of concrete going towards a public road.
I kinda hope that SLC will come down hard on them, this video would be fine if it was entirely on private property without any chance of things being flung into public spaces. Nobody should be at risk of being killed by flying concrete or drive on yet another pot holed road because some people wanted to make a RUclips video.
Seen enough reckless people doing things in their cars while someone is filming that it'd be nice for them to be screwed over by the police and councils as much as possible.
Ok, next time, make a proper concrete wheel set, all 4, balance them perfectly, watercut them properly into a round shape and use those... And add more armature just for safety... With them balanced well, you are likely to overdo it, so it`s better that they be reinforced af... I would also consider adding some abrasive grit into the concrete, mix in some of the used up granite... It ought to add some friction to the ``wheel``...

TBF, the Flintstone's wheels were rollers that probably weighed several tons each and might work better on roads when pavement hadn't been invented yet.
Even as a kid, even I was not sold on the rock wheels, I was a bike kid and multiple gears/sprockets was only popular much later on. so I knew walking or riding dinosaurs was faster if not more efficient
One of these wheels (not going to spoiler which one) is a solid, all most an concrete idea and I hope it cements it self as a revolutionary idea of the future
You guys not know the shovel trick?
You take a regular shovel and place the blade of it flat against the ground and slide it under the wheel. Now push the handle down and it will hike the wheel up enough to stick it on the hib.

Driving on public roads with these is a crime FYI. You are liable for any repairs that would be needed to fix the road. Why companies don't run any track vehicle on roads."Q: Would you theoretically be able to drive on a public road in a vehicle that has treads instead of wheels, provided it obeys all other vehicle and road safety laws?
