awesome car. 1953 was first year for a useful GM a/c unit, with those cool clear tubes directing air into the roof vents...for Buick, only available on the senior cars, like this beautiful Roadmaster Riviera. Love this green coupe...in such nice original shape might be a candidate for preservation instead of restoration. Also enjoy your vids, with the great soundtrack of classic pop music remixed into a contemporary beat...really cool.
The best road vehicle that I possessed for traveling was a 93 Roadmaster. It's too bad Buick don't manufacture a new version in rear wheel drive. I'm sure this example also has a great ride as well. Thanks.
Had a Special! Same color! Ridge Green/ Terrace Green! Your Roadmaster has air conditioning 🤗😬almost bought (fool) One, Riviera Roadmaster in Manderin Maroon/Majestic White 💕
You did a great job on the video, loved the tight shot with detail. When doing your tight shot pans, it might be good to pull out as you pan, just play with some of the shots, but wow, I can't wait to see some additional work, thanks for sharing!
Great job with the video, and yes, the music is very mood setting for the time period. Nice work all the way around. I do wonder what the restoration plan is. A current trend is to clear coat over the existing exterior surface to preserve the patina of the survivor! But I can help but hope that the plan for this beauty is to restore her to full showroom condition since she was obviously a fully-loaded top-of-the-line Buick that truly was the master of the roads in her glory days.
Thanks for watching! The owner owns another one of these wich he is currently fully restoring. His plan is to just keep the car just as it sits now, and just fix up some small things:)
What an incredible treasure, to be original. Polish it, do necessary mechanical repairs for safety, but otherwise, don't touch it. The current owner was in the right place at the right time.
Do not restore it. Looks perfect the way it is. They are only original once. And this car looks pristine. Perfect patina. Solid. A time capsule. If you wanna sell it ? Im in Texas.
You waste too much time on cosmetic features on the exterior. Beautiful, sound body that needs some TLC and a descent paint job. You should have shown the AC blower mechanism in the trunk and more details of the engine (and drive train). Does this one have the early 4 speed automatic that other large GM cars have?
Wow, what a complete vehicle in need of a restoration.
I enjoyed all the views and styling cues... Nice music too, really appropriate. 👌

Thanks for the feedback! I will soon post a 53 R Cab, and a super rare Roadmaster Woodie:)

Very nice ..
Morro å se på ❤
Air conditioning was extraordinarily rare on 1953 Buicks. That is NOT an AM/FM radio. It is a Delco Selectronic signal-seeking AM radio.

Is it forsale?
Unfortunately not
Well of they ever plan of selling let me know I'll keep it till the day I die

Cars used to look so much classier.
