And don't forget all the other games from unrelated companies they had the early versions of and could tell you exactly what would be in them, strangely always being entirely wrong about it when they came out for no reason but "they stripped the best parts away to earn more money".

A friend of mine ran an 800m in high school and ended up competing at state level where he ran an even better time and came third or something. He then told his time of 1:50 to one of these "I'm the best human ever" types who had to out-do him, and made up a time MUCH faster... not just a second or two, but 1:32... 18 seconds faster in 800 metres, which is almost like being on a bicycle versus running.
He stuck to his guns, swearing blind that he would bring proof of his 1:32, so my friend thought he'd show him what a d*** he was being when he looked up the world record which is just under 1:41. So this guy would apparently have beaten the world record by 9 seconds... and he was in high school.
Here's the part where I realised that some people will lie until they go insane... the friend STUCK TO HIS STORY... Saying that, yes, if indeed the WR was 1:41, then he'd beaten it by 9 seconds and it simply must have been that no one from the school realised it. He made up all the crap about how good his nutrition and training had been (significantly better than the literal world champion, apparently) and that of course he couldn't run fast today because he'd injured his leg a few years ago.
This blew my mind... imagine being presented with the proof that your story was fake and instead of saying "Oh sorry I must have my numbers way off", saying "Yep, I EASILY cleared the world record at school."

Heenan has also claimed that he discovered Hogan and knew right away he was the future of the business. Hogan's the most blatant example, but you have to take anything a wrestler says about the past with a grain of salt, especially when their version of the story makes them out to be the good guy in any situation. He had to be 'The Big Man' all the time so he could maintain his income.

It's just that those interviewers seem to be taking him seriously as Hulk Hogan's actor, rather than Hulk Hogan, the silly character (and apparently, so does he). It's just like making an interview with Borat, except that Cohen seems to be able to remember he is a person of his own, not _actual_ Borat :D

I think it kinda makes sense for Hulk to say that his character has a ten inch penis, but his actual self doesn't. I know it sounds weird, but it's like Chuck Noris saying, "I can't make the world move with my pushups, but my character, who shares a name and face with me, can because it fits the fiction." Everything else he said was clearly a lie, and it's hard to use the same excuse when you invent stories about people. Like, you can't say, "Elvis didn't visit my shows, he visited my character's shows," or, "I never met with a Make-A-Wish child, but Hulk Hogan did, as a character in fiction to add to his lore." There's a fine line between fiction and just lying. With Chuck Norris, it's made explicitly clear that all of his recorded feats are fictional. For example, saying. "Chuck Norris was so smart, he found out Hannah Montana was Miley Cyrus," is a lot different then, "Chuck Norris is so great, that he helped Miley Cyrus get off of drugs."
