This was the most painful things I've ever went through. I literally felt like my eye was budging out due to the pressure with a dull throbbing headache, I literally was crying out of pain but also crying helped sooth the pain for just a moment. Mine started as Influenza A and developed into this, I don't wish it on anyone. I did just about every home remedy I could try but in the end the doctor prescribed me steroids and antibiotics.
I remember when I was a freshman in highschool...I had just got home late from a house party...and the next morning my sinuses flared up and I had the most extreme headache...and my face started to get swollen...my mother rushed me to the hospital turns out I had a case of sinusitis that cause me to spend 6 days in the hospital my mother took time off from work to stay with me I love her so much!!!

The doctor who diagnosed me with sinusitis gave me medication that I would use whenever I feel it. It’s been almost 6 years since I had sinusitis. And it sucks, it hurts so much whenever the headache just happens. Can’t force myself to do anything because I just feel lightheaded and the headaches just makes it worse.

Last 2-3 weeks.. I’ve been miserable. Terrible nasal congestion and sinus infection.. nothing helped me. So today I decided to go to Juarez Mexico the doctor prescribed me mometasona spray and loratadina with betamasona tablet. And zinc with vitamin c. Well I’m already feeling so much better!!

This has caused me some much trouble. Mine started back in 2017 but I don't like asking for help for things and I waited one year to mention it. By that point I only asked because my head was hurting so much. I could barely hear out of my right ear. I was losing vision in my right eye. And I completely lost my sense of smell. But my sister who happened to dislike me said I was acting for attention. And everyone believed her even though she has a history of making things up against me. Since I was too young to go to the doctor by myself I had to just deal with it without medication or support. They often called me pathetic crazy and emotional. Then my mom gave up much later and took me to a doctor. And they said it was definitely real. But they never apologized for anything they said. I think the sinus infection did not cause me damage but everyone not believing me did.

Is anyone else getting severe eye pain? Like there's a sharp pain in and around your eyes? I get that same sharp pain in my head as well, like it's not a headache, it's sharp pains in my head. I have extreme sensitivity to light & I can't move my eyes as much. The doctors have told me that I have a sinus infection but none of them clarified if it was bacterial or viral. @DAVEN_THE_MAVEN hey actually after 3 or 4 doctors 3 told me I had nothing wrong even after a CT Scan, 4th one thank God had experience as an ENT so said I have slight deviation and turbinate hydrotrophy (inflamed lining) just like allergens, he prescribed me a new nasal spray ive never tried before and finally it worked after 2-3 years of feeling heavy/tired 2-3 times a week its called RYALTRIS, basically will be on it whenever I need it, the final option is surgery I think they can just clean it but I've been feeling better thanks for.asking

Same to I had my sinuses clogged with mucus for almost a week and the left side of my head was hurting bad. I felt better after I took a warm shower and blew my nose and a ton of mucus came out of my nose and I felt better after that.
My father had brain surgery and gets intense pain in his sinus which causes him to faint from the sudden blow of pain. I thought it could be allergies, because its random and ibuprofen helps. Ive been searching this a lot and trying to find others with similar stories. Doctors also might re open, to see where the infection is. I'm worried about another surgery and im sure he is too, I can tell its hard to live with.
I have had 4 months of chronic headache pain in temples/sides, tooth pain, face pain, dizziness, wooziness, vision problems. Now I am taking bactrim (antibiotic) and i feel even worse. Way more dizziness and now anxiety.
after 3 weeks of bactrim and prednisone, I have less pain and am getting better. However still not feeling back to normal. Still have dizziness at times and vision issues and pain. They say it can take 4-6 weeks. Side effects suck they make everything worse.

The Neil Med sinus rinse works really Good y’all you can find it at CVS, Walgreens, Walmart etc. it definitely washes your sinuses and leave them squeaky clean up in there.

You could end up with terrible complications, such as Trigeminal Neuralgia or nerve damage. Do research. Make sure you have really weighed all the options before committing to surgery. The nasal turbinates are an especially dangerous area, as damage to that area can cause Empty Nose Syndrome, which can make the person feel as if they are suffocating.
Struggling so bad with this right now. The pressure in my face is immense..on painkillers every 4hours nasal spray and sudafed. Crying because of the pain most days nothing helping it go. Never knew this was so painful until having it now.

I believe this is my issue, the pain starts under my eyes, my cheekbone and my upper jaw. Normally, it lasts for a day and it goes away. Today, when I ate something and drank fluids, the pain went away. When I got ready for bed, it came back. Michelle Muhammad I went through same thing. Whatever you do, be VERY careful about any doctor eager to do surgery. Your doctor should want to try EVERYTHING else before surgery since surgery is more risky than medicine, changing your diet, environment, etc. People think sinus surgery is no big deal, but you could end up with Trigeminal Neuralgia, vision problems, all sorts of complications. Watch out for yourself.
I strongly recommend to have a sinus scan and find out if there is a blockage that prevents sinus fluid to get out. Blockages may vary. I had one 3 weeks ago before my surgery. All kinds of bacteria, virus and mushroom may find it easy to grow when there is sinus fluid build up. I had mushroom infection in my nose but all of it is cleaned and passage ways are all open now. Thank God I can breath again. Fast recovery to all 😊

I just had it the other day. I could not sleep Because of the headache and the pressure. I wanted to go to the ER but they will just give me antibiotic and I don’t want to pay. I told my self I will just go to urgent care for prescription for Amoxicillin the next day. I really couldn’t sleep. What help me loosen the mucus was water steam with salt. A Home made remedy. Just inhale it for about 10mins. After that I was able to blow my nose and clear some of the pressure. What a relief.

Sinus sucks so hard tbh, I'm getting sick every week with a killing headache, fatigue, fever, bodyache and cold. It's been going on for around 3 months now. I always used to fall sick very easily, but never got ill weekly. It sucks so bad. It gets better if i take paracetamols but then comes up after a few hours. It's become so bad now, I've trouble even sitting and sleeping because of the pain 💀

Same influenza a. I couldnt sleep for days from the pain so i was hallucinating from exhaustion and pain

Last 2-3 weeks.. I’ve been miserable. Terrible nasal congestion and sinus infection.. nothing helped me. So today I decided to go to Juarez Mexico the doctor prescribed me mometasona spray and loratadina with betamasona tablet. And zinc with vitamin c. Well I’m already feeling so much better!!

This has caused me some much trouble. Mine started back in 2017 but I don't like asking for help for things and I waited one year to mention it. By that point I only asked because my head was hurting so much. I could barely hear out of my right ear. I was losing vision in my right eye. And I completely lost my sense of smell. But my sister who happened to dislike me said I was acting for attention. And everyone believed her even though she has a history of making things up against me. Since I was too young to go to the doctor by myself I had to just deal with it without medication or support. They often called me pathetic crazy and emotional. Then my mom gave up much later and took me to a doctor. And they said it was definitely real. But they never apologized for anything they said. I think the sinus infection did not cause me damage but everyone not believing me did.

Is anyone else getting severe eye pain? Like there's a sharp pain in and around your eyes? I get that same sharp pain in my head as well, like it's not a headache, it's sharp pains in my head. I have extreme sensitivity to light & I can't move my eyes as much. The doctors have told me that I have a sinus infection but none of them clarified if it was bacterial or viral. @DAVEN_THE_MAVEN hey actually after 3 or 4 doctors 3 told me I had nothing wrong even after a CT Scan, 4th one thank God had experience as an ENT so said I have slight deviation and turbinate hydrotrophy (inflamed lining) just like allergens, he prescribed me a new nasal spray ive never tried before and finally it worked after 2-3 years of feeling heavy/tired 2-3 times a week its called RYALTRIS, basically will be on it whenever I need it, the final option is surgery I think they can just clean it but I've been feeling better thanks for.asking

Same to I had my sinuses clogged with mucus for almost a week and the left side of my head was hurting bad. I felt better after I took a warm shower and blew my nose and a ton of mucus came out of my nose and I felt better after that.

My father had brain surgery and gets intense pain in his sinus which causes him to faint from the sudden blow of pain.
I thought it could be allergies, because its random and ibuprofen helps. Ive been searching this a lot and trying to find others with similar stories. Doctors also might re open, to see where the infection is. I'm worried about another surgery and im sure he is too, I can tell its hard to live with.

I have had 4 months of chronic headache pain in temples/sides, tooth pain, face pain, dizziness, wooziness, vision problems. Now I am taking bactrim (antibiotic) and i feel even worse. Way more dizziness and now anxiety.

after 3 weeks of bactrim and prednisone, I have less pain and am getting better. However still not feeling back to normal. Still have dizziness at times and vision issues and pain. They say it can take 4-6 weeks. Side effects suck they make everything worse.

I had the flu and right as i started to get better from it, it turned into sinusitis. Now I have a massive headache from the front of my face above my eyes, it hurts worse when I bend over and I have no smell + thick green/yellow snot. The sinus infection is more painful than the flu itself 😅

Very informative video thank you. Im pretty sure i have this, my constant migraines started when i was having seasonal allergies had to take certrizine for it. But that didnt stop the swelling and pain in my face in all the areas sinuses are located. My head hurts i feel light headed and my eyes are tired and im having more issues with my vision. i've been noticing that my ear and sinus infection are caused by my blood pressure... this even had caused me to go into sinus tachycardia. it's strange but i think there's a connection between the blood pressure and reactions sinus infections.

I went to the worst ENT imaginable. She told me to use steroidal nasal spray. Been doing that for years with no success. 50 dollar copay wasted. She did not even inspect my sinuses. Just stared at her computer typing.

This is the fourth time I have this damn thing. All the teeth of my upper jaw is hurts like hell. Steam is not working anymore. Doctor gave me antibiotics and painkillers but noooo this pain is not ending.

I’ve always had sinus issues but after getting COVID in November last year they became worse that now I need medical attention. I’m constantly nauseous. I had balloon sinoplasty 10 years ago after suffering from sinusitis for over 5 years and it was the best thing I ever had. Not had many problems since. And I swear by a net pot.

Good y’all you can find it at CVS, Walgreens, Walmart etc. it definitely washes your sinuses and leave them squeaky clean up in there.
Sinus surgery is necessary for some people---but it is serious and risky business. Any doctor that truly cares about the patient's well-being will try EVERYTHING else before surgery. You could end up with terrible complications, such as Trigeminal Neuralgia or nerve damage. Do research. Make sure you have really weighed all the options before committing to surgery. The nasal turbinates are an especially dangerous area, as damage to that area can cause Empty Nose Syndrome, which can make the person feel as if they are suffocating.

Bro i had this one month ago it dissapeared, and now it comes back again. This sinusitis is this worst thing in the world especially those headaches and the facial pain near your nose. I'm getting treatment and i hope i don't get this again in my living existence i didn't get this sinusitis thing only now.
I believe this is my issue, the pain starts under my eyes, my cheekbone and my upper jaw. Normally, it lasts for a day and it goes away. Today, when I ate something and drank fluids, the pain went away. When I got ready for bed, it came back. I do have a doctors appointment for the 26th of January, hopefully I can get some clarification to see about this sinusitis. This weather isn't helping

Michelle Muhammad I went through same thing. Whatever you do, be VERY careful about any doctor eager to do surgery. Your doctor should want to try EVERYTHING else before surgery since surgery is more risky than medicine, changing your diet, environment, etc. People think sinus surgery is no big deal, but you could end up with Trigeminal Neuralgia, vision problems, all sorts of complications. Watch out for yourself.

I strongly recommend to have a sinus scan and find out if there is a blockage that prevents sinus fluid to get out. Blockages may vary. I had one 3 weeks ago before my surgery. All kinds of bacteria, virus and mushroom may find it easy to grow when there is sinus fluid build up. I had mushroom infection in my nose but all of it is cleaned and passage ways are all open now. Thank God I can breath again. Fast recovery to all 😊

I just had it the other day. I could not sleep Because of the headache and the pressure. I wanted to go to the ER but they will just give me antibiotic and I don’t want to pay. I told my self I will just go to urgent care for prescription for Amoxicillin the next day. I really couldn’t sleep. What help me loosen the mucus was water steam with salt. A Home made remedy. Just inhale it for about 10mins. After that I was able to blow my nose and clear some of the pressure. What a relief.
My infection is kinda weird, my friend threw a basketball right at my face near my nose and I ended up developing an infection, I’m currently 14 and that happened when I was 12, i started feeling some discomfort a couple weeks ago and sometimes I can feel some pain but I haven’t felt pain in over a year

I always used to fall sick very easily, but never got ill weekly. It sucks so bad. It gets better if i take paracetamols but then comes up after a few hours.
It's become so bad now, I've trouble even sitting and sleeping because of the pain 💀
