  • Sinus and allergy headache relief exercises that you can do daily to help yourself feel good when dealing with sinusitis, runny nose, facial pain, face pressure, fullness in your ears or eustachian tube dysfunction, swelling in your face.
The self-care techniques you will be using in the video are known to help sinusitis by increasing circulation within your sinuses, stirring up congestion, promoting sinus drainage, helping your lymphatic system remove sinusoidal debris and even help strengthen your immune system.
Acupressure massage in this video has been taken from Chinese acupuncture techniques. Specific points have been known for 100s of years to help with sinus pressure and drainage.
Helping your cranial bones and upper cervical spine with some of these techniques can aid in the flow cerebrospinal fluid. This helping of the plumbing in your head can start to ease sinus pressure.
Lymphatic drainage massage is used here to stimulates the movement of lymphatic fluid. When lymph fluid is flowing, it can help reduce congestion and sinus pressure.
Along with endonasal cranial adjusting, the Muncie Technique, laser therapy, and other modalities I use the techniques in this video with my patients in my chiropractic office and am excited about sharing them with you. To recap, the video covers massage techniques, acupuncture points/pressure points, stretches and myofascial trigger points for Maxillary, Frontal, Ethmoid and Sphenoid paranasal sinuses.

I usually shy away from commenting on a video. But what you are doing sir is a social service. Anyone who suffers from sinus pain and pressure would agree it is the worst form of pain. I did it alongwith you and had to pause multiple times because of the drainage that started happening within seconds of doing the exercises. Have been in excruciating pain for 3 days and this brought instant relief. Already saved it and forwarded it to friends and family with similar struggles. Thank you so much for making this video Adam. It really helps 🥰

This was amazing. I have a serious sinus infection right now with a major headache and have a 7 month old baby. Tired and frustrated and of course sick. Once I was in the middle of the video during the massages I instantly started feeling relief and by the end started crying. Realized that my body is telling me to take better of myself and I have been neglecting myself for a long time. Thank for brining me peace and love to ourselves and giving us hope that everything will be okay. Sending love your way and health.

Sooo glad I came across this video. Every since I had sinus surgery about 7 years ago...seems like I have been having breathing issues which cause muscle tension. Mornings are awful. My head and face area feels awful. I take 1/2 valium when it gets too bad but the only thing it does is help me to fall back asleep. I also have a glass of wine or two and a night cap to help me relax. It helps a little but I think the exercises will help more...I pray they do. Glad to know I'm not alone in this. I will definitely be doing these exercises.

Thank you doctor. I did this and woke up after a good night's sleep pain free and no soreness. The knowledge you have given me is a blessing because this happens quite often when my sinuses get irritated with dust, pollen, certain smells etc. Great medicine that works !

I always watch them and perform the exercises whenever I feel congested, inflammation, stressed or otherwise out of sorts and by the end I feel relaxed, present and overall so much better. They have helped me immensely in my day to day life. So once again thank you for your videos! Love and support from Australia.

(And yes, I have it right now, and I’ve had it for 4 days, praying it’s gone soon. I hope all of you feel better soon!)
Between your thumb and index finger…there’s a little space, right? Rub there in a circular motion for a min or so on both hands…helps a lot sometimes!!

Thank you for being so generous to share your expertise with the world and to make these very helpful videos for people to use, especially during this COVID time when people cannot get to the doctor as easily. Is singing as beneficial for the sinuses as humming?

    • @dradamfields
      @dradamfields  2 года назад +2

Hi Barb, Great question! It's that deep vibration that you get from humming that I like for the sinuses but singing is so wonderful and I'm sure you will get some benefit from it. Especially, the low notes. Thanks for your generous comment.

I'm sitting at home right now, with a case of the good old Corona. Only have mild symptomes but had the worst sinus headache yesterday.
Half an hour ago, I felt the pain coming back so I found this video. After doing it, the pain retreated. Thanks Dr. Fields your video is a big help in a time where I can't do much more than to sit at home and wait for things to get better.
Update: I kept massaging my head and some of those pressure points, to drain some more. All of a sudden I could taste and smell things again, it's amazing! Wasn't able to smell or taste anything for almost a week now. Being able to taste that christmas candy again almost brought tears to my eyes. Thank you SO MUCH for those videos! Followed along from beginning, as I was having what felt like an ice headache behind my forehead and eyes. It was brutal. I got to @4:00 and started this technique. ~20sec in and i audibly heard (maybe felt?) a pressure release in my sinus and the headache went from an 8 to a 2, instantly. That was incredible. Can you explain what I might have felt/heard-in-my-head? Thank you so much!!

Hay iv also been getting what feels like a pressure headache for about six months. It feels like the right nostril is always stuffy if I start blowing my nose omg the pressure pain that starts to comes over my right eye brow is insane. Iv also got a huge hole on one of my RIGHT upper back tooth. So not 100% sure if it's my sinus or tooth causing the pressure headache maybe both. The only way I get relief is the get on my knees and rest the top of my head on the floor almost upside down. I sometimes hear a squeaky crackle from my nose that feels like it's definitely releasing some pressure when it happens. I'm definitely going to give these exercises a try
