I have been trying to figure out how to get mine to stay. I use powder contour and highlighter then a photo finish powder on top then setting spray and it NEVER lasts more than 2 hours. You are the first person who I’ve seen use cream THEN powder contour! THAT is the secret ladies!!! I can’t wait to try this technique out and see how long it stays on!!!

LOVE it, thanks! I just had surgery on my nose, both for form - and function (deviated septum), it was actually reasonably major surgery.
Long story short, esp. while my nose is still healing (did you know it takes about A YEAR for swelling on your nose to go down after surgery?)
Anyhoo, I have a big birthday dinner coming up (first big social thingy after surgery) and my nose is still really, fat & swollen - but worse, it's asymmetrical!
Anyhoo, your tips / contouring etc are great and I'm def. going to give it a try, I'll practice a bit first, but you seemed to nail / explain the basics.
BTW, you're gorgeous and I love how easy /approachable you make it all look. I'm not a big make up girl, but I definitely / currently need help with nose contouring, until at least my nose heals. Paws crossed, it heals symmetrically! Thanks again!

@@n.p.5408 Hi there, well my nose surgery was major, as it was a revision (fix up the last previous surgeries) hence it was a procedure to improve both the functionality & appearance of my nose, it also included a rib bone graft. The surgery took more than 5 HOURS!
But, 2+ years later my nose is SO much better, but to be honest, it's not perfect. I think that's where expectations play such an important role when it comes to any plastic surgery. Perfection is almost always not possible.
I would also strongly suggest that the recovery time for this surgery is often grossly underestimated, and I write as a journalist about plastic surgery / medical matters.
Any rhinoplasty procedure can take up to a year (or more if it's revision surgery) to see the final results. Also, I would strongly suggest choosing the best plastic surgeon that you can afford, as a pleasing result of your new nose can come down to a mere, teeny, tiny millimetre. And that fraction of a result is very much based on your chosen surgeon's talent / training / experience - if you know what I mean!

actually adding highlight to a nose that you wanna make look shorter is breaking all the effect off the previous shading and make it stand out even more

No lie I actually think your nose naturally look pretty. Yeah it’s not tiny like those plastic surgery hollywood ones but girl it’s pretty and you’re pretty as a whole! The problem with my nose is the hump bony structure that’s a little bigger than the average hump and it makes it look big and no makeup correction can correct it. But thanks for the tips 😭

I suck at makeup. I try but I always end up with the same boring look. I wish I'd get better but practice does not make perfect sometimes. I hate my nose, it's long with a bump up between my eyes. First of all a dimple in the chin is adorable! Why would you want to reduce it??? 😊
But you can try adding just a tiiiny bit of contour on the sides of it and a bit of a matte highlight in the dimple. The highlight (no shimmer!) will bring the dent out and the contour on the sides will create an illusion of reduction! :)

This was amazing, but can Can you also please also show a video for a bulbous nose?
I have a huge bulbous nose and really wish I could contour it like you are showing. My only issue is I never ever wear foundation. I don’t like the feeling of it. Does that mean you would not be able to contour and highlight to make my nose look smaller? Thank you if you can answer this and help me. I have liked this video and subbed. Your makeup looks wonderful and I wish I could do my makeup as beautifully as you do
If i were you I'd get a tinted moisturizer for your face. You wouldn't be able to tell you have anything on and its good for your skin plus a base. Then just try as she's done. Nothing to lose!
I've only just found this and that's what im going to do cos i dont like using foundation either! Tinted moisturizers also have built in SP30 so win win.
