I was there slept in line for 2 days n nights front of the stage never left me and my buddies the Best show ever and I am San Francisco native never has there ever been a better show I've seen them all!
Another native here, saw The Who first at the old Fillmore in 1968. Saw them every time through, through 1989, After that, the big venues were too much for me. Won the lotto twice, went both nights. Best Who shows I ever saw.
That's right, and you let me cut in line next to you a day and a half before the show. You also got one of Keith Moon's drum sticks. This was the only city they played two concerts at on that tour. They owed Bill Graham a show because two years before, Moon passed out behind his drums at the Cow Palace and they had to find a drummer from the audience who knew their songs to fill in. BEST CONCERT EVER.

Love The Who's sound it's a combination of a 7-47 jet and a machine gun that produces a ugly yet beautiful edgy sound.
it was a mail lottery for tickets...I did not win
