Great intro into the world of electric Brewing Brian, To spread the cost of my build, I sourced my parts and done my research over the year, Control panel is now built next is the Keg conversions, Look forward to the next Video, cheers
I appreciate the feedback! Thanks for watching. I'm currently working on a single vessel electric brew in a bag build video right now.. should be up soon stay tuned! Cheers!
Nice intro to ebrewing, it's amazing how the ebrewing has expanded. Wasn't much other then kals instructions when I started and now there is equipment and info everywhere. Cheers this will be a great series
I agree with you on that I had to research his website time and time again to put my system together now there's a lot more available to everybody. Cheers! Have a Happy Brew Year!
nice video brian. I would love a system like yours and one day it might happen. I would like to see or have you talk about the cost and where to buy all the part associated with building a system. I've looked at the prebuild ones and was wondering how much cheaper it is to pay together a system from scratch. cheers
Short Circuited Brewers I have not, but I have worked in kitchens where it was used. I'm just an extract brewer looking to get into BIAB, hopefully by summer. I'll keep you updated if/when it happens
I've been considering switching to electric for sometime. As a BIAB brewer, this rig may suit my needs: www.williamsbrewing.com/BREWERS-EDGE-MASH-BOIL--P4216.aspx I was considering the Grainfather, but I actually like the simplicity of this unit (no pumps, bells, whistles, or lasers). I may order it very soon. I have a few concerns about the design. Either unit takes away from single vessel brewing ability, BUT no need for propane, freezing, wind, etc. Having the option to brew inside or outside would make life much easier. I'll keep you posted, it is currently "in the cart".
That is a definite plus to an electric system. I think we should look at a "scratch built" option and see what we can come up with to compare to some of the off the shelf options. Cheers!
Chop & Brew sent me - very nice! I will be glued to this channel. Been thinking a lot about going E-brew in my basement so I can brew when it rains!
Awesome Andrew! Welcome to the channel! Any questions just ask! That was a pretty awesome shout out from Chip! Cheers! 🍻

Great video, informative and very helpful. I would appreciate your views on induction hobs if you have any experience with them?
Cheers.
David.
I honestly have no experience with them but I'll see what I can dig up and try to add a segment on that as well.
Cheers & Thanks for watching!
Short Circuited Brewers Nice one and thanks for the reply. CHEERS.
It's a Proportional, Integral, Derivative controller vice Integer.
ever use an induction plate instead of the electric burner? I'm sure you could get it up to temp faster with less power used.
I have not tried induction, do you use one? I would be interested in hearing how fast you bring your wort to boil? Is it 110v or 220v? let us know.

Good deal! Let us know. Cheers!
I wonder if they ever found that poor lad who got lost in the fog?
Nahhh I heard the Loch Ness monster got him.. lol
