Thanks man! For the audio I used an M-Audio interface and Reaper and for the video I used an iPhone 5c and put the two together in AVS video editor. Very simple set up but it does the job for me. Hope that helps dude :)

I'm glad I found your channel, a lot of channels don't know how to mix the sound well between the bass and the song playing in the background, often times with a lot of channels you can't hear the bass being played because the music in the background is too loud, but you have a really great mix, and you play well, so it's really enjoyable to watch and listen to, and learn songs from. this is phenomenal! some constructive criticism if i may, your overdrive is clipping the whole audio track, not just the one for the bass. if i may, i recommend making the bass a bit quieter just so the clipping is coming from whatever overdrive you're using and not the final audio track. other than that though, this is an incredible cover! I gotta ask, how do you get that smacky but still thunderous tone? It's pretty much exactly the tone i've been chasing since i started playing.

D'you reckon u could do White Lies Farewell To The Fairground? Your Fender or Squier jazz bass would be best for that, or the Gould maybe (Charles Cave used either a Fender J bass, Lakland Skyline J bass, or a Gibson RD artist series bass, like the one Nirvana's Krist Novoselic used). It's a really fast bassline but other than that it's not hard. It starts on C#, 4th fret of the A string, and a bit of overdrive or distortion wouldn't go amiss ;)
