Without Pan there would be no Super Saiyan 4 Goku. In Story, obviously, as they would have brought that amazing form in anyway possible but I'm glad they did it the way they did with Golden Oozaru Goku remembering the love for his Grand Daughter and rest of Family. I honestly like Pan in GT. She's brave, strong for her age, capable of compassion, and has shown to be very smart. I also like that this video talks about her lineage, because Pan does have a great lineage. She even takes after both of her parents Gohan and Videl. Being a tomboy with great strength and martial arts expertise like Videl, while also having crybaby tendencies with some level of latent ability like Gohan. People tend to complain that Pan cries alot, but you have to remember that she's basically 9 to 10 during GT (funimation stated that GT takes place 10 years after Z, but in the original Japanese version it takes place 5 years after Z, and Pan was 4 at the end of Z). Pan during GT was younger than Goku at the start of dragonball, and around the age of Gohan during the android saga, and both Goku and Gohan showed their childish sides when they were kids. So, Pan is allowed to act like a child too, even if she does have something to prove. Besides, when the situation got serious, so did Pan. I like how strong Pan is during GT. She may not be the strongest, and I honestly wish she became a super saiyan in GT, but she was shown capable in battle. Her base strength was great enough to overpower doctor Gero as an android, and as pointed out by Trunks in the Japanese version, Pan's strength when angry surpassed his own. Even when the enemy was significantly stronger, Pan never backed down, showing her courage. I especially like how Pan helped Goku defeat 2 of the shadow dragons. One of my favorite aspects of Pan is her relationship with Giru. At first, she didn't like him, especially when he ate the dragon radar. Pan even somewhat bullied Giru. However, Giru did show that he cared for her, and after he rescued her on the desert planet, Pan started showing compassion for him, resulting in a life long friendship. While Pan would still bully Giru from time to time, she never stopped caring for him. This was shown when Baby Vegeta basically killed Giru. Pan was sadden when she found the damaged Giru and happy when Trunks fixed him. Pan's greatest achievement in GT is helping Goku achieve Super Saiyan 4. Pan definitely has a good close relationship with her grandfather Goku that I also like. She may get annoyed with Goku being a kid and acting childish, but she always believes in him and will always love him. Plus, if you mess with Pan, you are guaranteed to get an angry Goku. I do like that after the 100 year timeskip at the end of GT, that Pan is alive and is pretty much taking the mentor role for Goku Jr.

THANK YOU!! 🥹 I don't like the idea of Pan getting hated on for being a child. I watched GT when I was a child, and I loved it! Because I felt very connected with Pan on an emotional and literal level. She wants to be seen as an adult, but because she is around 10-12. NO one takes her seriously and tells her to stay out of it or go play. I love how hard she works to prove her peers that She is an adult at Heart. Because of her, I became like her from a child to an adult. With my personality, gender and who I am as a person. She'll always be my favorite female character in the series.

pan is how alot of kids would be when being born with super powers and having a very powerful family that goes up against evil. a lot would be too scared to go out there but she atleast tries her best.
I think the main reason she’s hated is because of the dub. She’s annoying asf and the voice acting for her is really bad. However, in the sub, none of those problems really apply. She does have a handful of annoying moments even in the sub tho, but nothing compared to the dub
Well that’s fair but she’s a teenager, in my opinion she’s played perfectly as that’s what she’s supposed to be. A moody teenager she’s hated because she’s supposed to be. I don’t think I’ve met a single moody teenage girl when I was younger, including my cousins that i genuinely thought weren’t annoying in some way
Why the other Z fighters help Goku and Pan fight the shadow dragons ? they didn't show up until goku started getting stumped by Syn shenron , i always wondered this. i wanted to see uub and goten fight those shadow dragons.
Under better hands, she definitely had a lot of potential to explode. Sadly, GT basically never delivered with her outside of those Baby arc moments. Otherwise she was just the damsel in distress of the group and got herself in more problems than solutions she could offer. And all of that was made on purpose. Sadly, GT's writing invested on Goku and Pan's bond build up on Pan's constant run into problems so a lot of situations ended up with Pan crying for help and Goku coming to save her. It's certainly a way to make Pan fond of Goku but it just handicapped any possibility of potential she had. So yeah, looking back, she is actually maybe one of the best things from GT, but that just speaks more on GT's overall writing and engagement (or lack of it) than Pan's positive influence on the show. DBS/Super Hero movie Pan definitely showed a new direction reminiscent of DBZ's epilogue arc that wasn't as frustrating as GT Pan, but with Toriyama's death and Toyotaro still not giving any signal for the future of DBS, Pan as a character seems to be fated to just be jailed under the "she had a lot of potential" umbrella.
I wouldn’t call her one of the best written characters in the series, especially with how she sometimes feel underused or when she is this strong and yet will suddenly cry after getting hit by a rock on her head, but she is still very much underrated in my eyes for most of the reasons you mentioned as well as her incredible power and she is just one of my favorite GT characters.
you underrated her power she is as strong as GT Goku as kid & matched his power twice, in the anime. Kid Goku GT was fighting two super sayins while in his base form iin the babi saga. Goku can also take on Uub who is as strong as Majin (fat) Buu. Pan is unbelievably high powered in GT. Her power level at base would be around Goku's super sayin 3 level. She lacks combat experience & expertise is why people end up getting one over on her compared to Goku. Also, I'm surprised no one noticed this Bulla is taller than her while being younger than her Pan shorter. While Vegeta & goku are the opposite of that.
A thought I've been having lately is that the actual protagonist of GT is neither Goku nor Trunks, but Pan. GT is her story, her adventure. Sure, Goku is also a protagonist, I mean it's Dragon Ball... But he isn't the one in focus for the most parts. (Kinda like Dante on DMC 4 which is Nero's story). The end of GT is the end of Goku's story but at the same time it reflects about the end of Pan's journey with her grandfather, the moment she picks up Goku's clothes is pivotal for this. I know is a very unpopular interpretation about GT and I also know I could elaborate way better about it but it's 5 AM and this is a RUclips comment. Take care
Lol you couldn't be more wrong. Goku litterally sidelines everybody in the show even characters who should have bigger roles like Vegeta or Uub. GT is the Goku show more than any other series
@@lancekemal8989pans story is what was being told with her grandfather, she was perceived as a side character because she obviously wasn’t the strongest and wasn’t goku along with also being the side character in said story. @@lancekemal8989 we’re not exactly supposed to care much for them, they basically show that even with the main cast gone there will still be others, possibly why the just used smaller versions of goku and Vegeta to show it. But yeah I get your point, as for pan though her main thing was just being along for the adventure to continue telling the story of all that had happened with her grandfather. That was a part of her purpose, not just being his granddaughter but also being a reason he tried so hard to protect his family, friends, and world. It shows nothing is more important than those you care for. In my opinion that’s just what makes GT so great for me, but im not saying that’s the only way to see it of course. I wish Pan got more development in her beside treating goku like his grandpa. Maybe if she no longer hit guru anymore and take things a little bit more serious.

For someone being looked down upon, and dismissed when she wants to help she is really strong. She is being babied by Videl and Gohan, not being trained seriously by anyone... the strength she has is still incredible. If she was to be taught by any Z fighter, from Piccolo to even Tien, she could have been much stronger. But from what we got she was great.

Ok, Goku being better in GT I get, Vegeta being better in GT, yeah. But Pan SUCKS in GT, she's extremely annoying and is grating to me. Whether that's the point of her character or not I find her annoying. Strength feats have nothing to do with in my eyes. I actually hate her character there. Pan in Super hero is what I like more, a sweet kid who can kick ass and is eager to improve.
I used to hate on Pan when I was a kid, but being older now I can understand her character in its proper context and appreciate her more. She does have some cool moments and I think the best thing about her is she's basically the new Krillin, always down to ride no matter the odds. I'm also kind of glad they didn't just give her Super Saiyan as a tokenization like with a certain pack of U6 Saiyans we're familiar with today. I think seeing her achieve Super Saiyan by the end of the show and under the right circumstances would've been nice though. I think she's just overall misunderstood. And it is kind of cute seeing her love for her grandpa. "C'mon grandpa, we can take 'em!"
I don't know. Pan is probably stronger than Gohan as a child. She effordlessly put Dr. Gero in a headlock making her above Super Saiyan level from Cell Saga and managed to knock out Rildo who is stronger than Boo (even if that was just a lucky strike). Good video like always.
the only thing I would change about her is giving her super saiyin 1 and later 2 (if you want to), and Goku training her a bit at their space adventure it´s like with Bra/Bulla would show that she can fight/is trained with one small scene, when she transfer her power to Baby Vegeta she is in her super saiyin form

@@chromephonegoku stated that metal rildo was stronger then the buu he fought. And she was helping take down him and finish him off with kamehameha at the end of the fight. So yeah she’s on par/stronger then at least kid buu
Pan's maiden rage blast against Nat is fantastic. Should've turned SSJ right there and then
pan is how alot of kids would be when being born with super powers and having a very powerful family that goes up against evil. a lot would be too scared to go out there but she atleast tries her best.
I don’t think I’ve met a single moody teenage girl when I was younger, including my cousins that i genuinely thought weren’t annoying in some way
& the best part about all of this is that she didn't need to unlock Super Saiyan.
Yeah, but SSJ Pan would have been pretty cool too. One last, OG emotional Super Saiyan transformation would have been sweet.
Wish Pan went super saiyan
Why the other Z fighters help Goku and Pan fight the shadow dragons ? they didn't show up until goku started getting stumped by Syn shenron , i always wondered this.
i wanted to see uub and goten fight those shadow dragons.
Let's be real. Pan takes a lot after videl from the busaga
Pan being a child is no excuse for her actions and behaviors especially towards Giro. She snuck onto the spaceship.
At the end we literally see her talking to goku jr in the movie talking about it to him. Remember, these are just comments and opinions are opinions, don’t be negative about it
@@lancekemal8989yeah GT probably stands for Goku Time.
@@brendanjohnson8979 Never cared much for Goku Jr. The character has nothing about him to make him stand out. And Vegeta Jr doesn't even make sense when you look at either of Vegeta's actual kids. The only major role in the plot i remember Pan playing was helping Goku control his Golden Great Ape form
@@lancekemal8989 we’re not exactly supposed to care much for them, they basically show that even with the main cast gone there will still be others, possibly why the just used smaller versions of goku and
Vegeta to show it. Everyone else has their own opinion, I hope yall have a awesome day
Pan was a great concept for a series main, but she was VERY mishandled, especially in the first half of the Baby arc. (I consider Black Star Hunt/Baby one story arc)
Pan even landed hits on Ultimate Metal Rilldo and even helped finish him off with a combined Kamehameha with Trunks and Goku
I like pan
1:43
Ayooo that's a sussy Pan. Don't lie that you've seen Rom's art.
Also editing error at 1:58.
Kinda ruined most of gt for me tbh, but glad you liked her
People hated her? My only issue was that she didn’t go Super Sayain. She would have looked so cool if she transformed.
Yes she's terrible
Idk Pan gives me ptsd for every time she gets herself in trouble.
Pan was fine, and that's as someone who doesn't take to child characters easily.
Me personally I think she's the vet best version of pan GT Pan it's just awesome may I think she's way stronger though then Gohan when he fought cell General rilldo Goku compared his strength and found him stronger than Kid Buu handpan took him on and got in a lot of good shots on him I mean I would dare to say if we took GT Pan back to the Frieza Saga on Namek there wouldn't be much that Frieza could do against her even in his 100% final form haircut bet you even super perfect cell would probably fall at her feet how many she was doing all this in GT and she wasn't even a Super Saiyan I could only imagine what would have happened if she had turned Super Saiyan in GT her feets artistic credible she's way more responsible than many children that are seen in other animes can you take Norco for example in the very beginning that kid was the furthest from responsible beignet had a loving heart even though the villagers didn't deserve it but down to his core he was very unresponsible he didn't gain some responsibility of his actions and really grow until Midway do Naruto Shippuden GT Pan was way more responsible with her actions and her outlook on life I mean heck I know some anime adults they're honest responsible GT Pan is take Inuyasha man he's one of the most I'm responsible adult characters of scene then there's Vash the Stampede in Trigun another responsible anime adult there are many other so I can put way below the bar don't even half as responsible as GT pan is and her power is off the charts for her age and if I'm not mistaken I think the fan made manga Dragon Ball Multiverse used her design and her character but just like I said she would have been an utter dominator if she had access to Super Saiyan levels she would have been vastly Op in GT but yeah I have great respect for GT Pan not all the issues smart and our powers could be on the part of her dad's Gohan or heck even Goku if trained properly but those are my thoughts and where I stand on GT Pan she is one of the best anime female characters in my book.
PAN IS AMAZING
ITS GOKU IS WRITEN BADLY AND TRUNKS
Pan is more like Little Chi chi 😂😂😂
I wish Pan got more development in her beside treating goku like his grandpa. Maybe if she no longer hit guru anymore and take things a little bit more serious.
Yeah incredibly annoying
no se inglés, pero me alegra que al fin alguien hablará de lo buen personaje que es
Gt pan is basically the toph of dbgt heck gt has the same thing db has
Db journey of goku, dbz journey of gohan, dbgt journey of pan
Dbs no journey
Dbgt>dbs
But the journey part we get is the crappiest arc in the entire show
@@lancekemal8989 true naked Goku (shakes in weird horrendous feeling)
good video but i disagree
In the first episodes i hate she but later i love it
I like your gt vids but I hope you watch the Japanese version of the show because the dialogue is completely different /inaccurate in the English dub
Tbh i never had any care for this character, don't hate her but don't particulary like her either.
Dunno, i just don't find her interesting in any way🤷♂️
Gt supposed to be continue Canon long time ago.
And its KAKAROT
GOT DAMN IT....!!!!!
8:42 It's crazy how Goku, who enjoys fighting and seeing fights, flinches at Pan's madness ahahahaha
1:29
For someone being looked down upon, and dismissed when she wants to help she is really strong. She is being babied by Videl and Gohan, not being trained seriously by anyone... the strength she has is still incredible.
If she was to be taught by any Z fighter, from Piccolo to even Tien, she could have been much stronger. But from what we got she was great.
so guys I wonder why pan wasn't able to go super Saiyan this is something is what has been missing in the dragon ball grand tour series
Hercule is not greatness.. Hercule was surpassed by his own daughter
I love GT but Pan always felt like she acted like chichi but 2x worse. Naging about everything and being aggressive most of the time. That is why I never got to like her. Shame realy... first sayan girl in the original series. (don't even mention super, that shitshow does not exist in my book)
I love the fact that you hate Suppah-trash. It's all a bad dream. Pan is not the first saiyan girl however. There was someone on Bardock's team, a woman.
I'm surprised she hasn't become a Super saiyan yet
I actually like GT Pan more than all other Pans
GT fans😂... But I respect you guys opinion
I’d love a goten video
No one looks into her character because of the first impressions.
GT Pan > Kid Goten & Trunks
Your reaching
@@chromephone I don't think I am at all. Pan is only 1 annoying kid or teen.
With Goten and Trunks you get double the annoyance and Toriyama and crew don't seem to want to age them up.
@@bigdoubleu117 they got charisma and pan is like dub version of chichi only twice as annoying and got no ssj but i rather have now ssj for her than how goten and trunks got it seing that pissed me off than anything it was worse than caulifa and kale aciving it but gt pan was lame
Gt pan=kid goten and trunks
Old gt pan>>>>>>kid goten and trunks
@@bigdoubleu117 and i thought you ment power
Ok, Goku being better in GT I get, Vegeta being better in GT, yeah. But Pan SUCKS in GT, she's extremely annoying and is grating to me. Whether that's the point of her character or not I find her annoying. Strength feats have nothing to do with in my eyes. I actually hate her character there. Pan in Super hero is what I like more, a sweet kid who can kick ass and is eager to improve.
por más que la odies, pan es un buen personaje
Vegeta in GT is garbage. He doesn't do anything meaningful in the show
I was kinda waiting for her to turn ssj. She wouldn't have gotten a w but a long enough distraction to save goku or trunks
Well the show was originally supposed to go longer so they might have been building up to Super Saiyan Pan instead of just jumping the gun
U told it to the fullest and u did a great job on telling it. Thank u.
Pan is downright amazing and in the end of the series she is probably stronger than base Trunks.
Pan would one tap kid gohan
I mean they don't even say which version of Buu Rildo is even stronger than. I highly doubt some forgetable alien henchman is as powerful as Uub
Dub almost ruined this character.
the only thing I would change about her is giving her super saiyin 1 and later 2 (if you want to), and Goku training her a bit at their space adventure
it´s like with Bra/Bulla would show that she can fight/is trained with one small scene, when she transfer her power to Baby Vegeta she is in her super saiyin form
Great video. You earned my subscription
Must have been opposite day when you typed this
DBGT is underrated. DBGT is not so good as DB classic and DBZ, but is really better than DB Super.
Suppah is just trash
No its the worst in the series in the franchise besides heros of course but its very enjoyable
Better in some way and much worse in other ways. GT is basically just the Goku show and that's its biggest problem
I really am glad you love GT
1:56 Goku???
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Pan is the only redeeming quality of Gt, really.
Super Saiyan 4 and Shenron left the chat
Watch the series
Love you pan ❤❤
Great video bruv !!
wydm pan is iscredible?
She kinda reminds me of D.W
D.W? From Arthur? 💀
@@GreatExpectations787 ye. Idk if it's the voice actor or what. I just catch a simular vibe.

This video is such a joke
I agree she is incredible ly bad lol.
Pan is lame
Pan litterally saved the first boring 15 episodes
