However i agree that GT Vegeta is the best Vegeta ever because he is the final version of Vegeta, the writter of DB GT understand Vegeta character, understand where he was at the end of the Buu arc and they just respected it and finalize the evolution we saw at the end of this arc, he growth, is wiser, go over his jalousy of Goku and accept him as a partner and a rival in the good term, rival in the sense of always motivating themself and respecting their way, finding their own way to improve wihout caring about who is above. Instead of obsession in Super of always trying to catch each other and being on top, people speak about how Goku in Super is a failure and is not Goku, but not enough people speak about how Vegeta in Super is a failure too, that a insult that didn't respect the growth of Vegeta in the Buu Arc, Vegeta in Super is back at Cell arc/Beginning of Buu arc mentality .

Under better hands, she definitely had a lot of potential to explode. Sadly, GT basically never delivered with her outside of those Baby arc moments. Otherwise she was just the damsel in distress of the group and got herself in more problems than solutions she could offer. And all of that was made on purpose. Sadly, GT's writing invested on Goku and Pan's bond build up on Pan's constant run into problems so a lot of situations ended up with Pan crying for help and Goku coming to save her. It's certainly a way to make Pan fond of Goku but it just handicapped any possibility of potential she had. So yeah, looking back, she is actually maybe one of the best things from GT, but that just speaks more on GT's overall writing and engagement (or lack of it) than Pan's positive influence on the show. DBS/Super Hero movie Pan definitely showed a new direction reminiscent of DBZ's epilogue arc that wasn't as frustrating as GT Pan, but with Toriyama's death and Toyotaro still not giving any signal for the future of DBS, Pan as a character seems to be fated to just be jailed under the "she had a lot of potential" umbrella.

At the current time, although potaras are better to use due to being easy and not requiring the exact amount of power,The only Advantage Vegito has over gogeta is his Time limit. Otherwise Vegito will defuse Midway. Gogeta himself claimed that this time his power just not multiplied, But it's insignificantly magnified. In the guildbook it was stated that Fusion not only has a better balance, but it also draws out the power to max the fuion stats. There was another statement that if their fight was happened to be like 30 mins, gogeta would win but if the fight happens to be more than 30 mins, Vegito would win since gogeta will defuse to Vegeta and goku. And if we go based on statements, The 30 mins time limits allows the gogeta to raise, go beyond and reach higher power to end the opponent fast. But potaras aren't meant for powerful mortals which resulted in Vegito having a timer and transforming drains the timer even faster. Not to mention it also has a power limit which will lead to Vegito getting defused under 30 mins considering Vegito defused cuz of using too much of his power.

I was massively disappointed when Super made him setback in his personality. Because even in that moment when Whis acknowledges Vegeta has a chip on his shoulder to be better than Goku it's just...rehashing the same old dynamic that existed pre-buu saga. Just why even do it? Since GT isn't canon I get it but it's such a setback. Bitching about fusion in Super but kissing ass to Whis and Beerus...just stop this.

Even though according to what the original canon rules between Potara and Dance from the Buu Saga stated that would make Vegito stronger than Gogeta, Gogeta is the fusion of the personality aspects that make Goku and Vegeta credible, whereas Vegito is the fusion of the personality aspects that can make Goku and Vegeta insufferable. The only exception is SSJ4 Gogeta acting more like Vegito than himself, because he doesn’t act righteous like Goku, and he doesn’t become ruthless like Vegeta. Gogeta in Fusion Reborn and the Broly movie was a righteous yet ruthless warrior.
