Fitglow is one of my favorite brands, and I’m so grateful to you for introducing me to it! The lip serum in the shade Bloom is my #1 favorite lip product of all time. And the concealer?!? I’ll never use another concealer again as long as it’s available. It looks like they’ve maybe discontinued their pressed-powder format eye and cheek products? Or maybe they’re reformulating them, which would be good because every single one that I purchased from them arrived crushed and crumbled. I still used and enjoyed them, but it’s such a bummer to receive broken products. Anyway, I love Fitglow and I love all of your Fitglow reviews and tutorials! Thank you, Kait!
I was going to (negatively) review the pressed powders for always crumbling but then I saw they weren’t on the website! Hopefully they’re stabilizing the formula or packaging.

Glad it was helpful! I do think the brand could better explain why their prices are so high given their packaging doesn’t look luxe. I think that confuses people, but their formulas are next level.

Thank you so much for this video! You put a lot of work into these videos. I absolutely love their night serum, although it took me forever to purchase it because it was hard to spend that much. However, wow, is it worth it!! My favorite makeup is 100 percent pure, but I ended up buying Fitglow's concealer which I am very excited about. (I used your code, which saved me a lot!) These videos help me to make informed decisions! Thank you! To illustrate, I almost got their SPF as I love the ingredients and wanted something lighter, but I was worried about white cast as I also need iron oxides in my sunscreen. I highly recommend raw elements tinted sunscreen, it is very thick, but when I put it on after I do my whole skincare routine, I noticed that it goes on very smooth and I do not need much (it feels lighter when the skin is well moisterized with lighter moisterizers). It makes you look super glowly, and I usually just put bamboo powder over it and it looks like a light foundation. It also has very good ingredients, so I will definitely be sticking to that one. Thanks again! :)

I’ve tried so many concealers, but upon your recommendation the FitGlow concealer is by far the best and in your same shade too! Also. The Lip Serum is quickly becoming one of my favorite lip products, great color and so very comfortable, NEVER EVER sticky. Amazing. Thank you.
So glad to hear that! I know it seems silly to promote such pricey products but I'd rather spend that money on formulas that do perform better than luxury brands vs spend luxury money just for packaging.
@@StateofKait I don’t think it’s silly. I think it’s really helpful when people promote luxury products that are effective, it saves us a lot of trial and error. But then again, luxury self-care is kinda my kink ;)
I love the concealer too. I've tried them a few years ago. It's a great clean beauty product too and I love how the concealer has skincare benefits too.

Great overview! I’m SO glad you talked about the nude and buff lip liners because I’ve debated for years about the colors.. ah, but now I think I need to try both. Also so weird your blush palette pans fall out. Never happened to me. I actually really enjoy that palette and being able to mix up the color I’m feeling that day. With this discount, I’ll probably stock up on the vita detox cleanser and ceramide mist. I love those too. Finally want to shout out the beige eye liner. I love that thing! I actually use it a ton for subtle highlighting around my eyes and on my nose and even concealing around my lip line sometimes. It works super well for me for Korean style eye makeup where the eye-fat is highlighted

thank you for fixing access to the video! I appreciate your honest reviews. I've been using the concealer, but don't think i have the right shade, so looking into one of their other options. It is a great concealer! What is the eyeshadow you are wearing? It looks SO pretty and really makes your eyes pop! I wanted to say too about the company that I purchased a few of their brushes several years back and it came unglued. When i contacted them they offered to send me a new one. I thanked them for their offer, but said i would prefer if they would just donate that money to an local animal rescue and i could duct tape the brush i had. Their customer service rep was great and said they would absolutely do that instead. So, i truly appreciate a company that cares about animals. Thank you again for your informative and honest videos!

@@StateofKait you're right it's so hard. The texture is just perfection. They are creamy without being overly emollient or depositing too much product. They go on smoothly, effortlessly, and blur the lip lines. One of the most natural liners for overdrawing for that reason.

You can use a sponge! I just prefer brushes

This was such a helpful video, thank you! I'm revamping my makeup and have been popping around different Fitglow reviews. As a previous beauty industry insider, it amazes me how much money I wasted on toxic high end brands full of lead and artificial colors. So for people to complain about paying what they consider a high price for clean lip color that actually is not toxic and gets glowing reviews is interesting, but seems to be the norm for most products sadly. I just wish they used more glass than aluminum, I personally try to avoid aluminum for health reasons and its really not "sustainable" as greenwashers like to promote.

I love fitglow! Thank you so much for this review 🥰 I haven’t found another line that compares to them in the clean beauty world performance-wise, and you went over many products I haven’t tried! I actually love their concealer in the summer as an all over one and done kinda thing. But I’m a person who likes to blend with fingers while looking in my rear view mirror in the parking lot 😬 I actually don’t mind that they don’t accept returns of used products…I know this may be a controversial view, but I just think so many people return used products and it creates so much waste. I think we need to be more intentional in our purchasing habits, myself included! And I agree Kait, I don’t love the aesthetics of the packaging 😬 It seems they may be moving away from the pink and purple flower decals…one can hope. I also prefer a simple, understated, neutral and elegant aesthetic. And as far as the price, yes it’s expensive. I always wait for bundle deals and I appreciate your discount code, Kait! But compared with the trash ingredient in “luxury” cosmetics (plastic, fragrance, etc) that cost the same or more, I would much prefer to spend my money with them. And pleeeez fitglow do not go into Sephora or Ulta or the like…all the lines that I loved before that sold out had a huge quality decrease. I do miss their lumifirm products…highlighter, blushes and sculpt…they just obviously needed to be repackaged so you could use a brush with them. I haven’t tried their new cream products in the palette so I’m curious how they compare. But I’m grateful for your review because I also don’t like balmy feeling cheek products. I also don’t want makeup falling out on my clothes or on a dirty floor haha! Thanks Kait 💖
I agree re: waste, their amazing formulas, and the Lumi firms. The founder said she would never put Fitglow in Sephora or Ulta so no worries there. She wants 100% control and I really admire that her goal isn’t to make money, but to truly provide a better product to consumers. I think that’s badass.

I have never found a concealer that worked well on my textured, dark under eyes so I am taking a chance and trying the concealer and under eye corrector! Fingers crossed it works as well for me as it does for you!
Just a heads up, I personally don’t like layering their corrector and concealer together because the textures are so thick. I prefer a thinner corrector under the Fitglow concealer. Also detox market and integrity botanicals offers free samples of those so you can try before you buy if you want
i didn't like the fitglow concealer when i tried it for all the reasons you mentioned, however i love me a good middle ground between thick and serum-like. still searching for the dream concealer, the kulfi one was pretty close, but a little too drying, i'm going to try the flower beauty one next. I really want to try the lip serums and the lip and cheek sticks!! hoping the lip and cheek in port is my dream clean beauty vampy lip!!

Hello, was looking to buy the brush you used for the concealer to get a better coverage. Though the name you mentioned CONCEAL + CORRECT BRUSH looks a little different then the brush you are holding as the top brush looks more of a dome shape. Could it be the eye brush you are referring off? Thank you

DAAANNNG! Thanks for that code! I have genetically darker, heavier bags under my eyes (the opposite of hollows, I guess). I don't even fool with under-concealer because it only ever looks gross and too made-up, calling more attention to the situation than needed. And, while my complexion is *pretty* good thanks to my dermatologist, sometimes I get a spot or an irritation I want to hide. Might have to try the FitGlow based on your description and adoration for the product. I'm a fan of green color correctors...have you ever tried the ones from FitGlow?
I have. They’re the same formula - thick and tacky, so I find layering the corrector under the concealer is too much. I would probably recommend a thinner corrector and then the Fitglow concealer.

hi Kait! I would try using a mineral sunscreen with at least 20% zinc oxide as the active ingredient to help with the hyperpigmentation issue. iron oxides only protect against UVB rays and not UVA rays. obvi the spf u regularly use has zinc oxide as well, but 20% zinc oxide is whats recommended by dermatologists, outside of the whole "the best spf is the one you will wear every day" rule. I really like the pacifica kind tint spf, that one has iron oxides in it too and is slightly tinted. the MyChelle liquid tint spf 50 is really great too but a little more pricey.
I exclusively used a 20% zinc oxide sunscreen for three years without iron oxides. As soon as I started using a sunscreen with iron oxides, but less zinc, my hyperpigmentation stopped worsening. 🤷🏼♀️

I’m so basic with cleansers, and the K-beauty ones I love are super affordable. But dang have I been craving an “experience” cleanser, and the Fitglow sounds perfect. How does the lip liner compare to the the Charlotte tilbury one? Hers i would describe as creamy going on, but then waxy and very long wearing. Is fit glow long wearing?
I wouldn’t describe Charlotte tilbury liners as creamy, to me they’re quite waxy and a bit stiff, so Fitglow is much creamier but they still do set a little bit. CT is more long lasting, Fitglow is more comfortable/creamy/blurring. I prefer Fitglow
I have been looking for a sunscreen with iron oxides but everything is too dark for me which is so frustrating. I wish more companies would make inclusive shade ranges when they release tinted sunscreens. I can use any chemical sunscreen and honestly even most white casts are acceptable but that doesn’t help my issue of trying to incorporate iron oxides into my routine. Anyway thanks as always Kait for the comprehensive review! The concealer is my HG I didn’t even know concealer could conceal like that before this product because all of the high coverage ones I tried would look so cakey. I’m going to place an order using your code for the foundation since I enjoy a more dewy finish. I’m also going to try the concealer brush because I love my Rare Beauty one and this one looks similar but better for travel. I love the formula of their lip serums but I don’t have a shade I’m in love with which makes me reach for them less personally.

For the lip serums, do you happen to know when they start going bad, or do you use them up so quickly that you've never hit that mark? And whoa, that matte lip in Port is stunning on you! What's the brush I always see you applying cream blushes? The angle on it looks helpful.
I’ve had my lip serums since 2018/2019 and none of them have gone bad. The brush is Sephora #47!

@@steph4230 Hmmmm Koi is a creamy peach but doesn't have the hint of pink that Nice had. Kind is a light creamy peach but a little too light. Sadly there isn't a perfect dupe in their collection.
Re concaeler: Right?! As a consumer - what's your perspective on how I can better convey the magic of the Fitglow concealer? Most people have your reaction of "OH WOW THIS IS AMAZING" but they've all waited so long to try it. Am I not properly communicating how good it is enough or is it just because it's expensive?

In the UK, you can never return opened product anyway - I find it pretty shocking that you can do that in the US.

In the UK you can't return any cosmetic products! Always find it bizarre that you're able to in the US as seems like there would be massive waste, people abusing the system etc and can fully understand why small companies cannot afford to do returns. Always drives me mad when i see people ordering hundreds of dollars of products without any intention of keeping it!
