Omg. I’m dying! You are SO FUNNY. You have no idea how many times I have washed my mop pad in my kitchen sink in LIVE VIDEOS in front of my customers and zero people have told me it was gross. Side note, I NEVER wash my floor. Yah. You read that correctly. Norwex consultant with a FILTHY floor over here.... annnnnd I wash that sucker in my sink. Also, I have a primary immune deficiency called CVID, which basically means my body has completely given up on producing antibodies to any kind of pathogen, so if I can have a filthy floor and wash my mop pad in the sink without worrying... gurl... srsly... haters gonna hate. 😂 Second side note- I CANNOT GET MY FAMILY TO REMOVE SHOES IN THE HOUSE AND I HAVE A DOG. I wash my floors (with a Norwex mop, as it turns out) like once every two or three months, maybe? Until my shoe-wearing family learns to levitate, I’m like... ain’t nobody got time fo dat. Why am I gonna wash my floor every day? Nobody has gotten sick during the last six months of us being smooshed into our tiny house with filthy floors. (People- this is for you! Don’t police!) You are so super clean, and you are taking the right attitude. If it’s good for you, then it’s fine. Now that I’ve posted these few words of support, people can pick on me instead. 😉 Annnnnd I kinda wanna try this fly lady mop!

In video you said you have nothing to gain just honest review. An affiliate links are gain from links they're no different than mlm commission and talking about a product and mentioning to others your likes and dislikes. That's the same thing that happens at mlm party people share with their friends and family what they love or don't love

I just started my own one woman cleaning business in 2021. I was looking for videos that compared Norwex to E Cloth products to see what I might like better for my business. I have now seen all 3 of your Norwex vs E Cloth mop comparison videos. I love that you are real and I use my sink for more than just dishes too :o I'm a new subscriber to your channel and will watch past videos you have done for other tips. :)

I disagree that the Norwex mop just glides over the floor. We went through so many mops before breaking down and getting a Norwex mop which definitely pulls things up off the floor and leaves it shiny, streakless, and dries so fast. I do agree the prices are quite high though.

    • @rachelhoyle5728

I’m switching to the Norwex because I hate the e-cloth one so much. Handle falls over if I prop it in the wall, e-cloth mop pad wears down quickly (I find 3 years to be fast, and I only mopped once a week, I mostly got down on my hands and knees to deep clean or spot clean with rags and cleaners). I’m also really tired of the streaks in the floor. We have hard water.

I have the Norwex mop handle, which I love, but I found that eCloth pads will fit onto it very well and I actually like them better. I used Norwex for years until I decided to try to eCloth pads and I find them easier to wrong out. They also clean my floors very well.

Okay so, I love your videos and I was totally here for home school info. But I also happen to be a Norwex consultant, and I am listening to you talk about the number of views your Norwex vs Ecloth videos have gotten and I feel I should tell you... From the Norwex vantage point, I am as mystified as you are! Norwex has EXPLODED to the point where they have exhausted their warehouse and are chronically running out of standard products because people have gone CRAZY for anything related to cleaning. I assume, as you have, that this is because of the pandemic. (This is humorous to me, since we are allowed to make ZERO claims regarding CoVID or any viruses in general, for very good reasons- viruses are very tiny and dangerous, and it’s best to leave that to the CDC, NIH, and EPA, to sum it up!) So... there you have it! It’s not just you! Norwex is exploding and so are your videos! I think people are trying to clean “germs” into oblivion. That said... people have completely wiped us out of dusting mitts and envirowands... but I think that’s just an incidental result of the world going “cleaning crazy.” Everyone is one of us now! Homeschool moms are constantly cleaning up after the children. 😂😘

Use the ecloth white dustmop head (dry) before the blue deep clean mophead (wet) and it works SO well!!! The dustmop head has all the dense little fibers to pick up tons of dirt and pethair (of which I have a ton!) It’s super easy to switch out the heads because they attach with the Velcro strip! This method is quick and easy and cleans effectively even with my vinyl floor that has lots of grooves.

Because that’s the main purpose of Norwex ? I’m sensitive to bleach and many other cleaning products for the kitchen and bathroom especially. I also do not have the Norwex mop but I do have some of their cloths. BTW this is the first time I saw any of your videos so I’m not being sarcastic... just looking for information. So, first, you need to strip your mop pads. Both the E-Cloth and Norwex pads. Second I absolutely understand a lot of people's hatred of MLM'S, as many people stated those are not MLM's they are direct sales, which are always confused as MLM's. But have you ever done a video seeing how "clean" the floors are actually getting? You mentioned in one video that you aren't swabbing the floor, but I think that is what is needed to truly compare the cleaning power. There were a few statements in one video that could not be verified on the E-Cloth website, ie anti-bacterial properties. That's the whole point of Norwex. Also if you have to use soap to clean the E-Cloth then that's still using harsh chemicals. Especially dawn. And that is your choice I just think you're giving slightly incorrect information.

One more thing! Lol. Multi level businesses- my thought is that the CEO of a company gets paid more that the dept heads and managers...so what!? I don’t currently sell anything- but I have lots of friends that do and it’s with multi level companies - if you don’t support multi level companies, you probably should stop buy anything- cause the higher up the company- the more money they make. The shoe saleswoman at Macy’s makes Less than the person managing the whole shoe dept and so on up the line

    • @mrscouts07
      @mrscouts07  4 года назад +2

I'm so glad you brought this up! MLMs work completely different from other companies such as Macy's which you mentioned. So let's talk about Macy's: The shoe salesperson could be viewed as someone rather low on the totem pole, but is told before being hired how much they will earn and what kind of hours they will put in each week. That is agreed upon before that person shows up for their first day of work. I don't know about Macy's specifically, but they are probably paid by the hour and don't get commission for selling more shoes. Some places offer salary (or hourly pay) only or salary plus commission. The salesperson is not responsible for recruiting others to work at Macy's. The salesperson is not responsible for marketing Macy's. They show up, do their job, and get paid. Compare that to MLMs--- There is NO guaranteed paycheck and it's commission ONLY. I would encourage you to look up income disclosure statements on various MLMs to get the real story, which will show you how little the consultants get paid, and how it's virtually impossible to reach the top of the company unless you have a huge team with huge sales. No wonder so many people fail at them! The structure is not designed for success, just look at the numbers put forth by the company. Consultants are required to sell, market, and recruit, for little to no money. So much work and so little reward. Also, you have no health benefits, 401K, retirement benefits in MLMs, but a lower level employee at Macy's can have all of those things. Consultants of MLMs are not small business owners because they have absolutely zero control over pricing, products, inventory, or hiring. What if the business goes under? Consultants are left with nothing and aren't held responsible for lawsuits, etc. It's a HUGE difference.

I never understood people who are so anti MLM that they don't support their friends who sell it anymore. MLM has been around for AGES. My mom sold avon, amway, and Mary k. Because it has been around for so long many people who join these MLM companies are not looking to get rich. They are looking for extra spending money or stay at home moms who can help with the grocery. So because you think the company is predatory, even though you like the product, you still are unwilling to help your friend get groceries or extra money for the household? I get that MLMs are not for everybody, they can be super pushy if done wrong....soooo annoyingly pushy. I have friends who sell all kinds of MLM products,so I purchase from them IF AND ONLY IF I like the product. I also dont join the groups or silence the groups id the person is super pushy. The other groups who aren't pushy...im much more active in. So again...if you dont like the structure of the MLMs cause u think they are predatory... don't join them/sell their stuff, and if u are not into the product ....dont join parties or groups. But if u like the product??? I dunno that just seems a bit much to me personally.

So my question is- what does your husband do for a living and a paycheck? Most of us make a product or service that we love and sell it. So what if someone loves NORWEX and wants to share it and gets paid- it’s a freakin good product! I’m sure your husband does what he does so he can put food on your table and I’m sure whatever he does, there are other companies that does the same as he does. There is nothing wrong with selling a product that you believe in that is beneficial to people- even if there are several other companies that make the same type product. You eveidently, don’t have to worry about feeding your family- or extra money to buy fun things with -that is being provided for you! Bottom line- Norwex has tterrific products that I love and I’m sold on- yes there are other ones too but that doesn’t make NORWEX bad or me bad if I decide to sell it- Pompousness is rampant this year!

I think it’s wonderful that stay at home moms sell things like Tupperware or Avon etc. they are WORKING FOR THEIR FAMILY! Beats being a lazy mom. Tupperware is great stuff has lasted decades in my cabinets and Avon is terrific face products! They aren’t the only companies out there, but they are good products. And the sells lady makes money🙀OMG! And it’s multi level😱OMG! But I get a great product and she is working so her kids can have soccer lessons or riding lessons or money to upgrade the family vehicle!😫how bad is that?!

my goodness, you're on fire today! My husband has a college degree and over 20 years experience in his field and makes a paycheck based on that. I also have a college degree and 15 years experience in my field and work part time as an independent contractor for a small wellness company. I make a little money from ads on RUclips but that's just for fun. RUclips costs me practically nothing, and the wellness company I work with pays all of my office expenses. I'm also a stay-at-home homeschool mom, so far from lazy! I would encourage you to look into how much MLM consultants spend on their business (inventory, product for personal use to be "a product of the product," marketing materials, office products), how many hours they put into their "business" every week and compare that to how much they actually sell. The facts are that some are successful, most are not. Look at income disclosure statements put up by the specific companies for an idea of what's really going on. Sure, everyone is allowed to do what they want, sell what they want... that's fine! But the way MLMs market "the dream" to their customers and potential recruits is shady and not truthful. I want people to be informed before they drop money into a company that isn't out for their best interests. A lot of women especially are being swindled, and I believe that our time is way more valuable than the pennies per hour MLMs pay. People are much better off starting their own legitimate business in their own name, where they have control over everything.

Debbie Hall Rachel worked for pampered chef so she understands MLMs. And she’s absolutely right that most people working for MLMs make pennies.
Like she said they’re being swindled and it would be better for them to put their time into something else and make more money.

@@BbGun-lw5vi The Pampered Chef is and has always been a direct sales company. Amyway, for example, is multi-level marketing. I did about 8 shows a month with Pampered Chef and averaged $1000 paycheck (yes, paycheck twice per month) during the 1990's. It is NOT MLM.

WOW! You're not supporting an MLM.... geez. You're supporting a friend, a mom... CLEARLY you don't even understand the "quality" of things.
You don't have to like the structure but go ahead and by your Walmart brand products and move on. You don't need to make a video on it. Didn't even finish this one. Annoying.

If you had one(a brain) you would know Norwex isn't predatory or MLM....
