I don’t usually comment on videos, but the title compelled me to write something about my experience..... It was my second year here, still establishing myself and I just gone to the US on a business trip and on my return the Boarder agent said these words to me and it brought tears to my eyes, I had travelled quite extensively when I was in Pakistan and had never heard this from an immigration officer returning home to a country where I was born in. These are very powerful words and make you want to care for your home, Canada.

Alhumdulillah, my family moved to Canada in 2003 and I was only 9 years old with a younger sibling. Allah has been very kind and this land has given us everything. The first 3 years were tough for us, especially my father who was our bread and butter but then things started to settle. This land has provided us everything one needs. Safety, food, education, shelter, calm and the biggest of all (OPPORTUNITIES). Alhumdulillah we are now well settled, our family has grown and infact I have started my own family (Our 2nd generation in Canada now) and have a successful career. We love Pakistan and have strong roots there (I visit every 2 years) but Canada IS our home.
I know so many people who think the other way around. They cash Canada of all it's resources (Safety, Jobs, wealth, etc) but still consider Pakistan their sole home. This is Kufrane-rehmat.

it's not kufran e rehmat for those who migrated here. for me i was born in karachi and i moved here in 2018 and will still consider pakistan as my home , we don't juice the country pay 5 x the taxes we paid back home and that's worth it so for me home is where the heart is and that's karachi forever

Buddy! You came here as a kid which is the reason you have this feeling. I came here when I was 23 and now I'm 36 but my purpose of coming here was different and I never wanted to stay here forever but I stayed due to some circumstances but finally, I have decided to move back to Khi, Pakistan in 2, 3 years Insha Allah. Whatever Canada is, it can't be my home. My home is where my heart is which is Pakistan.

Was Canada always like this ? or there was a time when they were also uncivilized like us ?
What was the starting point and fundamental steps and challenges that a country like Canada faced while implementing the rule of law and proper systems ? because that must have hurt the interest of powerful capitalist people. How did Canada cater these things ? How did Canada become Canada ?
