    Let’s talk about lemon juice and how to avoid common mistakes when consuming it.
    It’s important to avoid pasteurized lemon juice because the heat used can destroy some of the benefits. Instead, consume lemon juice squeezed from organic lemons or blend whole organic lemons.
    Top potential benefits of lemons and limes:
    • They can help reduce kidney stones
    • They’re high in vitamin C and may help reduce the symptoms of vitamin C deficiency and scurvy
    • They have an antihistamine effect
    • They have anti-fungal properties
    • They can help reduce uric acid
    • They can help increase iron absorption
    Top mistakes people make when consuming lemon juice:
    1. Drinking it right before a meal
    What to do:
    • Consume lemon water at least a half hour before you eat.
    2. Not diluting it with water and not using a straw
    What to do:
    • Dilute your lemon juice with water and drink it through a straw.
    3. Drinking it if you have an ulcer or gastritis
    What to do:
    • Lemon water will cause a burning sensation in this situation. Avoid anything acidic if you have an ulcer or inflammation in the stomach.

    In India the people are consuming lemon with lukewarm water and honey on early morning with empty stomach after that they don't take any food upto 45 minutes which causes enormous results, Thank you Doctor for scientific advise 🙏🙏🙏🇮🇳

    The absolute best way to get the benefits of a lemon, is you put it in a freezer first. Then just use a cheese grater to shred it up and put about as much as you want it is some water and drink it❤

    Thanks to watching hundreds of Dr. Berg's videos, as well as Dr. Jason Fung's, and strict keto I've gone from 265 lbs at over 30% bodyfat and diagnosed pre diabetic to 214 lbs at app 14% bodyfat in 7 months, all while gaining muscle. I turn 50 in 2 months and am in the same shape as when I was in the military.

    About a year and a half ago, I stumbled upon Dr Berg’s lemon water vid. I had a beer gut, haven’t exercised in over ten years and physically miserable then. Fast forward to now and after a bunch of his vids, I am now in my best shape ever (getting shredded and almost seeing my fifth and sixth pack, hee hee). I m 52 and 💪🏼now.

    I do a full of shot glass lemon juice with sea salt whenever I felt an itchy throat. The following day my itchy throat would be gone. Works every time.

    From the studies I've read pasteurization only drops vitamin c a few percent, but could drop it up too around 40% if the pasteurization/shelf time are rather extreme.

    Lemon juice and water helped my husband pass kidney stones twice. He literally saw some cloudy urine and that was the stones dissolved and passing out in his urine.

    Mr. Berg - I would like to thank you for your valuable content.
    I used to be 270 pounds, high blood pressure, high blood sugar, bad liver, bad vision, bad lungs at age 54 I was in bad shape.
    My diet was all processed foods, carbs and sugar.
    For the last 3 years I've followed your Clean Keto, lemon ACV Water, 8 to 10 cups of cruciferous veges and daily walking.
    I buy organic meats, direct from the local farmers as possible which supports my community.
    I cut out all all the processed crap, all sugar and alcohol and only eat 25 grams of carbs a day.
    I've lost over 50 pounds, I now have ZERO health issues, I leap out of bed and have tons of energy.
    I can't thank you enough for sharing your experiences, you saved my life.

    I mentioned Japanese water therapy on Dr Berg video a while ago and this is what is being said here. Don't mix fluids with solids. Leave a gap of 45 min prior to eating, after your lemon drink, and 90 mins after eating before taking more water.

    I cut a lemon in half, leaving the peel on but removing the seeds, I add a clove of garlic and coconut water. Blend well and you will have a great energetic day! I use it as a breakfast.

    I carry a lemon to work often. The afternoon slump is easily remedied by drinking a bottle of water with fresh lemon juice in it. I swear by it! 🌿🍋

      Easy ,,,use mustard oil and vegetables and seeds with mustard oil like black cumin seed,mustard himself, garlic and so on,,the other thing you have to do is drink and eat when you sit not when you stay,drink onetime a week atleast cranberry juice or eat cranberrys and last move is to sit when you go toilet not do while you stay that causes problems like kidney stones ,also enough water and magnesium oil ,but dont forget salt when you drink much water ,at hot weather you can become calciumoxalstones when you not got enough electrolytes

    I have been drinking a glass of warm filtered water with juice from 1/2 lemon and then another glass of warm water to remove any lemon from my teeth every morning for years now. It’s a great way to start my day. I don’t eat for at least an hour after that.

    I put 4 lemons- cut up in blender -peel & all with water 💧 It makes a applesauce texture lemon sauce. I keep a pitcher of it in fridge I drink 1/4 cup of this mix in water every am. SO refreshing 🍋

    I have turned my health around because of your health advice. I was diagnosed with osteoporosis and arthritis a few years ago. All the medications helped me gain 50lbs., a fatty liver and Pre diabetes. The advice was more medicine. I came across your video on boron and then I went down the rabbit hole of all your videos. I’m completely off all the medicine and down 15lbs. On your lemon water the only difference I do in the morning is I add a tablespoon of Laudemio olive oil. I was given this advice that this formula first thing in the morning is healthy for the gut.

    I’m so glad I listened to this video bc I’ve been drinking lemon water all day long, including with meals & I was thinking I was doing good! Thank you Dr Berg.
    I also want to thank you for your videos about the gallbladder. I avoid doctors as much as possible & I knew I didn’t want to have surgery. I bought every supplement you suggested & with trial & error I learned what worked & what didn’t work. It took awhile, but one day my gallstones were gone & I got my life back. Thanks again!

    Thank you Dr Berg, I hit 315 in bench press today. Which is not much for most people but as a 190 pound man at 6'0, I am happy ecstatic about it. I wouldn't havw been able to do it without your science and research to help fuel my body properly. I sprinkle bottled lemon juice every day with a lot of my meals. Especially on fish or soup.

    I've been drinking WARM water with fresh lemon (only a few drops, not alot, never drink in a shot, it's too much) in every morning before I eat breakfast. Its a life-changing and helps me to digest the first morning. I feel like a new person every day.

      @@ayshorjo2405 I lost over 25 lbs for a year and a half. With yoga exercise or walking over 30 mins twice or once a day. drinking a warm w/a drop of lemon helps you feel like a new person. I haven't aged, I notice my skin gets better and better. No kidding!

Cz i wanna loose like 15 pounds. It's just i also saw some disadvantages of lemon water on google. But i think 1 glass lemon water will be safe. That's why i asked you.

    I saw your video on making a lemon blueberry smoothie in a blender and drinking it down. I have been doing it for about a week. Man on man I am feeling much better. It really helps me to get going in the morning and out of the bathroom if you know what I mean.

    I squeeze lemon juice into Matcha Green Tea.. Its a very nice drink & I drink it while I work from home.
    Its a very soothing drink Green Tea & Lemon and because I am on the phone a lot it helps keep my throat wet & toned in a good way.

    I started off drinking orangic lemon juice with spring water five years old when I first started watching your videos. A little over two years ago I saw a video on blending the whole lemon with distilled water. In addition, right before I drink my whole lemon juice cocktail I take a product called Miracle Berries. This is a freeze dried berry halves that I let dissolve on my tongue for thirty seconds. It sweeten the tounge to to mimic the cocktail as a lemonade. The best blender to use is a Vitamix 5200 blender.

      I understand the desire for distilled water, however that without some salts/minerals consumption of distilled water will deplete your body of salts from your blood etc.

    I always use organic lemons but my daughter, because of having little ones and not as much time, uses organic Santa Cruz, which is pasteurized.. Thank you, Dr. Berg, for helping millions achieve better health. I love that your videos are short and to the point but somehow you manage to make them chock full of useful information!

    I am a type 2 and i manage it like i have no diabetes at all. I drink a pint glass of warm water with all the mixtures on a empty stomach when i get up and i do a intermittent fasting after my last meal around 4pm in the afternoon.     Every morning for 2yrs now i drink fresh lemon juice ,crushed ginger and honey tea and i havent had a cold for that long and when i got covid i only had a mild head ache and thats it and i know the tea kept me healthy , lemons are a super food in my eyes , lucky we have a lemon tree lol

      Yes, why focus on the juice? Most the nutes are in the skin and you don't have to deal w the acid. I tried blending the whole lemon. Too bitter without adding more stuff - but you do get the fiber. Recently, just been grating the peel and adding to other food. Not sure what % of nutrients are missed but it actually adds to the flavor.

    Thank you so much Dr. BERG! I've been drinking a lot of Lemon juice thinking it would help my acid reflux. Yet, having no relief. I didn't realize I was making my system more alkaline. Having all these symptoms of exactly what you mentioned. I stopped the Lemon juice and added HCI . Feeling much better. I haven't needed any reflux otc meds. After hearing this lesson. I now know what what was happening to me. You are amazing!! Thank you so so much!!!

    I can confirm the mistake about not using a straw. I have a problem with tooth erosion and when I said to my dentist I drink lemon water daily without a straw, he really was not happy! 😅

    There are some marvelous reports here. I've written my own about kidney stones and lemons & since then I've been taking Dr Berg's advice very seriously. I noticed the effect on bleeding gums too as it used to be normal when I brushed my teeth but one lemon per day clears it up. It was shocking how quickly that happened. Bleeding gums in the morning, no bleeding gums in the evening.
    Another amazing thing which has happened is with the use of vitamin D3 and K2 the K2 brings the calcium back into the bones and strengthens teeth. Mine had been in terrible condition and my dentist loved it. Now there's a huge improvement. Our food supply must be in very poor condition for all of these ailments to be so common. I've begun growing my own food and cultivating the soil with the addition of activated charcoal which I make myself and the plants are doing very well. This year particularly.

    I'm drinking for long time ,but I mix lemon, lime, turmeric, ginger and ACV first thing in a morning I stumbled over your video by an accident after I lost my wife unexpectedly 07/22 she never woke up,, she had no illness , we were married for three decades .I was searching for answers . And right away I jumped into Keto, I never been fat just a health cautious person and always been hungry for knowledge very curious minded guy. I'm doing OMAD and IF, My life long seasonal allergy is gone, Constipation gone, improved my eye sight I have tests to prove, all blood tests improved, CAC score 0, YOU ARE THE GREATEST DR, Teacher , Instructor. They should have put you in charge of Covid19 instead of that clown Fauci. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. Honest person like you should be in white house.

    Thanks Dr. Berg for the clarification! I was taking undiluted lemon shots before meals, but will change my routine. I love your electrolyte powder, its the only one that's balanced of all that I have seen. I do have a question. Does blending whole lemons, seeds and all create an oxalate issue? Last summer I normally drank one of your blueberry/whole lemon slushes on a regular basis. I love it, but now I worry about oxalates from the peel and seeds. Thanks for everything!!

      No, this is the opposite. Lemons are used to dissolve oxalates. Its skin is great for vitamin c, better than its juice.

    My concoction: 2-3 lemons peel removed whole lemons, 8 tbls ASV, ginger root, tumeric, black pepper, cayenne, cinnamon, (as desired, I use a tsp or so of each), 2 scoops Dr Berg’s electrolyte powder; blend well, refrigerat. I do not strain, and use this as a concentrate in a glass of water. Great for fasting and refreshing.

    It's important to drink it strait when mix it, because I noticed that if you leave it for a long time the acid becomes more acidic, and I experienced a loss of enamel in my teeth because I was used to mix a lemon in a 1lt bottle and drink it during the day.

    Very informative. I've been drinking lemon juice, mixed with mostly water and a little added stevia, for many years now. It's more or less lemon-aid but it's been my daily drink with meals for a long time. Was a shock to learn I shouldn't even be drinking with my meals. I really don't drink anything else besides that and water. Some of the symptoms related to alkalosis I've experienced previously also but had no idea what was causing it. Can't say 100% if it was due to the lemon juice but it really was pretty interesting to learn of that.

    You mix two ounces of lemon juice with one ounce of apple cider vinegar and that will fix the "alkalinization" problem you mentioned. It will aid digestion and reduce gastric acid reflux by causing the cardiac sphincter to tighten. Also add one tsp cinnamon, one teaspoon turmeric (the kind that comes with Bio-Perine) and one-eighth tsp cayenne pepper and then sweeten to taste with stevia or honey. Mix all that in 8 ounces of water and enjoy. This is a commonly touted weight-loss formula.

    Some years ago, when reading a book about a detox diet, it advised that lemon turns alkaline in our body, and lime turns acidic. Therefore, it’s better to drink lemon water as most people are too acidic (according to the book).

    Great video. I usually drink a whole lemon blended with blueberries before my first meal of the day, I've always assumed this breaks fasting so I'd rather avoid doing it earlier if that's the case. Would it be best to do it afterwards instead? If so, how long after the meal to avoid digestion interference? Or at the end of the day maybe after the final meal. Thanks!

      On an empty stomach drink Half a lemon squeezed into cold or warm water 20 mins before imbibing anything else. If you follow that with fresh organic celery juice youll be clearing out your alimentary canal and hydrating yourself for the day... See Anthony William.. All great info & from dr Berg

    I've recently begun drinking watered down lemon juice with just a bit of stevia to mildly sweeten it. But I've been consuming it with my food. Oops. So thanks for bring this to our attention Dr. Berg. IMHO, you're helping to make the world a bit better place, though it's going to take a generation or two or three before the results are fully realized. Hopefully, by then you'll be watching down from heaven but don't count your chickens... ;-)

      Best way to consume lemon juice is actually in a glass of lime warm water with a pinch of Pink Himalayan salt or Celtic salt, not sugar or Stevia etc. It actually tastes amazing and helps the body hydrate.

    I never thought about it being pasteurized. It looks like I’ll be buying lemons. I like the idea of grinding up the whole thing in a blender with ice and drinking it with a straw like a slushy. I may have missed it though in my mind I think a big mistake would be adding too much sugar to make it more palatable.
    I was unaware of its antihistamine and anti fungal properties. That makes it more desirable. Ty Dr. Berg❤

      @@gittelindbendixentved I have with oranges. I clean it really good, cut of the stem and ends then cut it in pieces. Then in the blender with ice and water. If it’s too bitter with the peel try without the peel but it adds fiber and nutrients to keep it in.

    Don't chug or drink fast, sip your drink slowly thruout the day. I take a couple sips, then sit the bottle down and come back to it every hour. That way you don't pee out all the goodness.
