This video must have got at least a million views. I don't understand RUclips's algorithm sometimes.

Awesome project! Only thing you may consider adding is an adjustable plate on the top of the chimney to let you dial in temps better

You could also put a dust maze like the pro q one and do cold smoking

This is like the masculine version of an easy bake oven, complete with over-engineering and potential for 3rd degree burns.
Nice piece of equipment to get some quick hot smoke on some fish or chicken breast or something, then burn out in an hour.

Over engineered? Yep. Built this because I could 😂
Third degree burns? You can get those on any BBQ or smoker.
Burns out in an hour? Well yes, but it's only little, it's not like you'll throw a suckling pig in there. Chuck in a mackerel and a few pork chops and they come out lovely 😋

Indeed you do, can't do a lot without eyes or fingers ☠️

Made me very hungry. I think the aluminum can with the wood will melt on the coals.

Surprisingly it doesn't melt. Everything I make in there sure tastes good 😋

Would have been easier to make the fire box sides from one piece and fold it, then add the ends. Saves time and welding/cutting.

You are correct, that would be the ideal.... If I had a sheet metal folder. It's on the tool wish list, amongst many other tools 😂 you can never have enough!
