But its a long way 5hrs of driving for a 15m set eeek. Thinkl ive found a place in plymouth but its not specifically emom and im composing in studio (my new pc) atm so. Im not the guy to organise these things, im neurodivergent and occasionally get autistic overload which can take me out for a week. In addition because i am pitch perfect and work in microtones now i get really undermined in tonal awareness by 12 tet (e.g f natural is shockingly out) means listening to 12tet can be painful. Just one of the reasons why its a black hole. I cant guarantee people will come to a night in plymouth atm, will need to make some friends at existing nights. I never want have an empty night again that was horrible out of the 30 or so people that wanted to come none did. Thats just it these nights need to start with 7 geeks and work up. It requires patience and commitment from the bar owner. I really believe that emoms are the future of live music tbh - noone can afford to go out - Musicians cant make a following until they are found live (even then its a loss) , and the only way we can make headway creatively and motivationally is by networking locally. Ai is only gonna get less iterative (music is maths) and the education system ignores "beatmakers" - kids are more interested in consuming playlists with prompts. However all of this is defo gonna take the ego and fashion out of music which may actually lead to a grass roots creative revival much in the way manufacturing has created a craft industry.
