I’ve seen a few posts on Facebook groups of people asking where to find their escaped pet scorpion. I think this video will demonstrate exactly that. Specimen in this video is my Forest Scorpion that a friend of mine gave me a couple months back. He is thriving super well in his little enclosure we built for him.
I don’t handle my scorpions and tarantulas for the most part, but I thought I’d do something different for today’s video. Although this species of scorpion is not reported to be deadly to humans (considered to be one of the best beginner pet scorpions due to their low venom toxicity), I strongly advice to not handle them, as they can deliver quite a pinch with those pincers.

I love this scorpion idk why. I used to get anxiety with even hearing the name because I got stung by one but this big guy genuinely seems to like Exotic Lair. Like he was so cool with him meeting his dad and when he got picked up, he was like "w h y ? ? ? papa I'm confused ?" And that's so cute to me

The novelty wears off. They are more "specimen" than pet.
They hide all day, but at night..... They tap the glass of the tank looking for a way out. Kinda freaky if you keep it in a bedroom.
