      I don’t really have “arachnophobia” but still I don’t love spiders. Maybe because I’m Australian and most spiders I see are 5-7cm (2-3 inches). But seeing this makes me actually like them. These babies are even less since there’s no real way they can harm you.

    • @CynHicks
      @CynHicks 2 года назад

      Open secret; everyone with any sense has a fear of spiders. There's a reason why. Spiders are some of the most dangerous animals in the planet when you consider their general size.
      Many of these spiders you'll see online will cause a lot of pain or even death if they choose. Don't be mistaken. There's a reason why so many of those that breed, keep, care for and sell will NOT handle them on purpose. People who are like stone when one jumps on them are fully aware of the dangers. They can be fuzzy but they aren't usually (never) fond of you, even if they are one of the few that are curious of you.

    I remember when I lived with my family in countryside, my sister dated a guy who was raising tarantulas. When she broke up with him, he sneaked a tarantula in our home and we had no choice but kill it out of fear (my sister feared them too.). We found her (the tarantula) walking upwards the doorframe, right above my sister's shoulder, and she whacked her and she splatted upside down to her death, and tons and tons of little spiderlings scattered in fear.
    It's still very hard for me to watch these videos, but I try to still watch them to try to get my phobia away, it's totally not easy.

      its becuz when tarantula babies can be cannibalism, its easier to take care of them too since u cant just spray water onto the egg sack,they can easily drown in a single droplet

    Hey exotics! I've been watching your videos sense your first "Watering My tarantulas" and I was wondering if you had time to make a video on how to set up an enclosure for your first T?? As I've always wanted one but didn't understand the best way to make their enclosure! Xx Also I reckon around 240-290 babies

      An exoterra plastic tub (about five gallons I think) 1/2 filled with substrate (such as Coco fibre or a mix of your choice) with a hide + water dish will be fine for the average juvenile/adult tarantula.
      For slings you can keep them in small plastic containers, such as the ones you may get crickets or mealworms in at the pet shop. I'm not an expert that I'm pretty sure is a fine setup

    Tarantulas actually lay to 500-1000 babies inside each eggsack so there is probably 500 or 1000 babies

      Leave them in their too long and the babies or mom possibly might start eating each other. So pulling it is best chance for the slings.
