I'm really happy to see a lot of these Japanese-original characters getting the love and attention they deserve! I actually just added the Legacy Velocitron Speedia 500 Collection Clampdown and the Generation Selects Deep Cover to my collection! Might try and get ahold of Galaxy Shuttle.
As a child, my best friend worshipped astrotrain and called him Flying choo choo. We are now men but I sent him a pic saying “Autobot flying choo choo”
I like the seamless white background more as it makes the channel look more professional and less "home video-y". But I do appreciate the gray background for very lightly-colored figures like this one to make it stand out more.
@@PrimeVsPrime Actually I think the grey is a way better option for the videos. White always makes the lighting look really bright. I’d say get a lighter grey background to split the different. Less need to switch out different boards depending on a single figure.
Legacy diving into the Victory Universe is assure victory for Japanese Transformers fans. As Galaxy Shuttle really is awesome. The paint job looks nice and clean, locative train and space shuttle modes are great. And finally, robot mode amazing. Sure, he's not a one for one accurate to his Victory cartoon appearance, but he wears the WFC trilogy Astrotrain mold prefectly. -Hope for more characters of Victory and other shows from the Japanese side of Transformers

I wasn't able to pick up an Astro Train when he initially came out in my area, so to get a new version of him is awesome!! I also don't know anything about the transformers Victory universe, but I'm definitely at least a bit intrigued by it Great review and great product!!
Great review as always, Sir! The robot mode looks decent enough, but they should have scrapped the train mode and used the plastic from those parts to fill out the back of the shuttle.

The white background is great for the light piping and dark coloured figures, bit the gray is much cleaner and will help with the contrast of white figures and help show of details
Sharing parts between alt modes and simply painting the flip side is such a better solution than just packing in a ton of extra parts that few of which are shared like with Legacy Blitzwing. It avoids the dumpster fire of tons of kibble just hanging off of his mode.
That shuttle comparison with Astrotrain gave me major "Astronauts sent to space to investigate the remains of a shuttle that vanished years ago and whose crew went radio silent" vibes.
One thing I wanted to say is yes Victory Saber is a haslab exclusive, but Hasbro has come out and said that Victory Saber is a part of the legacy lince along with the generations selects figures but are treated as side lines instead of the main line

Reusing the mold requires all pieces of the same color all be the same color again (though it can be a different color) as they are most likely part of the same mold. (without the expensive process or creating a new mold) So they could cast them all in black, and paint most of them red. Or cast them all in red, and paint one of them black. They choose the option that requires the least paint. Likewise with the body, it is easier to paint black over a white surface instead of white over a black surface. So cast it all in white and paint it black. % I see a red gun and I want to paint it black %
Looks cool but while watching it I realised that it could mean there won't be an Armada Jetfire coming in the future since he has the perfect mode already to have been a Galaxy Shuttle repaint.
oh man I really like how this guy looks he’s got the “black repaint” effect for the train mode in my opinion, but overall i think he’s much nicer looking than astrotrain can’t wait for this guy to show up in stores
Epic review PrimeVsPrime!!! I'm super excited for Galaxy Shuttle finally being given a Hasbro release figure. :D I wonder if this mold will be used a third time to make Armada Jetfire, since Galaxy Shuttle was inspiration for Armada Jetfire. Keep on being amazing.
I'm going to say it. I think Hasbro should redo Astrotrain in the Studio Series line. He could use the upgrade between the paint scheme, the hollow gaps, the exposed vehicle mode chunkiness, and the "battle damage." I can easily see it being built better, even using the original mould.
This guy looks fantastic! Phenomenal review as always PvP! Oh and btw as of wave 3 of legacy all the figures have the new plastic, so there shouldn’t be any yellowing issues going forward
The whole main cast of Victory characters need to get modern toys that do them justice, I was disapointed in the LioKaiser because it was primary just a repaint of exising figures and a bizzar choice for torso bot in the form of Skylynx, I would of though Starscream's mold would of been the better choice
This looks great. I picked up Astrotrain mostly for its Train mode and I'll pick up this one for the Shuttle mode. Though I wonder if I could get the landing pad to work as an extra car on Astrotrain to lengthen him more
12:10 yeah you're right it does look like jazz I just love that some characters have similar/resemble heads that looks like other characters, you get what I'm saying?
The connector on the back pack rotates so the pack sits higher. Still odd, but the extra weight and the big feet help counterbalance the massive combined gun.
You can Flatten it down if You slide out the Foot Plates that are supposed to go onto the figure in robot mode, the Heel Spur is what is keeping it from flattening out.
Love the new Background it really pops and adds a bit of different contrast especially for Transformers that are completely white lol nice contrast and easier on the eyes
"First Ever standard Victory Character release in Generations" ( TR Sky Shadow says Hi!). I know we got LioKaiser in CW as well,but that was a Platinum release.
Galaxy Shuttle look amazing looking Victory universe Autobot 😊. I not really Transformers Victory universe expert 😅, however i can say that, i enjoy Transformers Victory universe song 😄. Hopefully we can see more Transformers Victory universe characters soon 😊.
You know the fact that this is an astrotrain repaint and slight retool reminds me of the Japanese version of the original G1 Astrotrain toy, which had a black steam engine and a white space shuttle with accurate NASA details

Besides the Unicron Trilogy, Victory is the corner of the transformers brand I want to see get more attention the most. Preordered this right away.
He looks perfect to expand on Sky Lynx' base mode.

The grey background is definitely better than the white - white bot detail isn't lost and the whole thing's a bit gentler on the eye. Nice one :)
