I think pretty much the only DJD member we're likely to never see a toy for is Kaon, and that's less because of his characterization and more because his alt mode is a goddamn electric chair.
I'm an old man so I've mainly stuck with G1 inspired studio and legacy collection. But tarn is so sweet I might have to think about expanding into the wider unknown transformerverse

He's a beautiful looking toy, it'd be amazing if all mainline releases could be like this. I know little about Tarn but I'm feeling half tempted to buy him.
He's pretty much the zealous leader of the inquisitors of deceptions known as the Deception Justice Division or DJD , a group of deceptions hand picked and trained by Megatron to literary kill any Deceptions that have any notion of deserting the Deceptions cause in any horrific way possible and he has the ability to literary talk his opponents to death also he likes to be very poetic and thinks of himself as a eloquent and calm headed leader as he plays music that matches his poetic side and also has had violent side as well .
It’s just absolutely amazing on how Hasbro could think up a figure like this and make it into a reality, Legacy have sure made the voyagers the best figures by far in the line with Tarn reigning supreme! I’ll definitely get my hands on him and hope more DJD are coming soon, specifically Kaon and Vos!
@@Quantum_Magnus Isn't Megatron not a gun so that kids won't run around holding fake guns and stuff? It's not like the Transformers themselves don't come with guns already. One of them turning into a small sniper rifle for another toy to hold is no big deal.

This is absolutely stunning! If I were to pick some nitpick, they would be, as you said, that they could have found a way to fold the fists away, maybe by making a cavity in the part of the forearm that get covered by the panel that rotates, and that it would have been nice if the kneeguards could have folded down to better cover the back of the tank. But, once again, these are nitpicks, I love this figure! And even if you posed him shooting at Optimus, I'd rather pose him shooting at Starscream. I mean... how is it that he never went after the dude who tries to backstab Megatron on a daily basis? I'm pretty sure that Megs keeps his treads on his back just to pad it from Strascream!
This is a really awesome looking figure. It would be cool if Hasbro and Takara/Tomy made all of the members of the DJD, but the only problem I see with that are their alt modes; those being torture devices. Some parents might complain saying that those aren't exactly "kid friendly." But I'm sure Hasbro and Takara/Tomy could find a way to make the DJD with some new forms if that were the case. If you're going to make Tarn, you have to make the other members as well.
I imagine they’ll design the other members with their comic modes in mind, but as they design the figure they’ll slap some “vehicle modes” together for them that will actually be on the boxes while their real modes will be hidden for fans to figure out.
@@ToaKoran That definitely would be the easy way to go. I mean, Tarn went unscathed because of his tank mode. Making the rest of the DJD into different vehicles would be very similar to Hasbro making Megatron into a tank since G2 due to his original toy’s alt mode having a lot of controversy to it; that being a Walther P-38 pistol.

EXCELLENT!!!! Absolutely EXCELLENT! NO hollow sections. Great design. Great weapons. Superb engineering. I said NO MORE transformers, I'm going to break the rule for Tarn.
Tarn was introduced in the IDW comics. He's the leader of the Decepticon Justice Division. A team of Decepticons who hunt down, torture and execute traitors among the Decepticons. Tarn is obsessed with Megatron and the Decepticon cause. Most of his body was modified based on that obsession, even the mask covering his battlescars. Additional traits include: -The ability to extinguish ones sparl with his voice alone -Addicted to Transformation -Lover of classical cybertronian music and literature

This figure is truly a GOAT, I do really hope to see the rest of the DJD in Legacy and the line have long life compared to the 3-4 years that Prime Wars and War For Cybertron had
One of my Favorite Decepticon, but the only thing I kinda 50/50 like is the legs, it's too slim for it's stature, unlike in the Comic portrayal, but aside that, the Figure is awesome and cool! At least there's no gaps in the back just like some TF figures prior.
Beyond fantastic review PrimeVsPrime!!! Tarn will be mine! lol Fingers crossed that we get the entire Decepticon Justice Division in the Legacy line. :D Merry Christmas! 🎄Keep on being amazing.
So 2 things... 1. Isn't this a deluxe? I know it's being priced at the old Voyager price point but the last Legacy Deluxe I bought, that being Arcee was also sold at that old Voyager price point. And I've seen this listed online as a Deluxe. 2. I think you mistransformed him slightly in the vehicle mode. There's clearly a hinge to fold the knees flat against the back of the vehicle mode but you left them sticking out. I don't think it would really fix the issue with the visible hands but it would clean up the back just a little bit better not having such a large hallow space and not having these random gold spikes just jutting out the back of the tank mode.
Canceling this Pre-Order as well. No hollow cavities in arms or legs, true, but that is only because he has his hands just hanging off of the back in the alt mode like that. Spinister was a Deluxe, and that I could forgive, because after all, it is a deluxe, and looks decent in both of it's altmodes. But this, this has the same energy as Siege Ironhide. Where they just didn't know what to do with the hands. I'm done with collecting Transformers, I work my ass off 8 hours a day, meaning to say money doesn't come in without sacrifice and I'm not wasting it on this.
You just said it: an almost perfect figure except for the molded unmovable mini-wheels beneath the thread… We came to acept this practice in flying vehicles for many aesthetic/economical reasons whatsoever (I have a generations deluxe sky shadow with the moving wheel gimmick… I like it, but I don’t mind the kingdom voyager cyclonus does not have it… however, in tanks, for some reason this does not feel right even if the figure is used mostly for display, wonder if such a tiny aspect now could raise the type to leader class…) oh well… I still want it (just will have to do a little micro-lifting for the stop motion sessions instead of dragging it)… ❤
im getting REALLY annoyed at hasbro giving us figs that dont bloody roll. for the price involved wheels are a must. skullgrin was the one to bring the issue to the fore for me. the only justification i can see with Tarn is IMO he's aimed at us long time collectors and comics fans , just like with jhiaxus and impactor, so they know most of us are just gonna put him on display as opposed to play with him. still its not something i'd like to see going forward. on the character himself, its brilliant . deffo gonna pick him up and i cant help thinking alex milne and james roberts must be well chuffed to see his design and their character on the shelves .

Great video, this video definitely did him justice. I'm hoping they do the rest of the his team so we can make a full display of him and his squad.
Thank you 🙏🏻

The best legacy tf figure ever ♥️
EXCELLENT!!!!
Absolutely EXCELLENT!
NO hollow sections.
Great design.
Great weapons.
Superb engineering.
I said NO MORE transformers, I'm going to break the rule for Tarn.
PvP will review 2024 next week
Rest of DJD is required for everyone
Who is Tarn and why does his face resemble the decepticon logo?
Tarn was introduced in the IDW comics. He's the leader of the Decepticon Justice Division.
A team of Decepticons who hunt down, torture and execute traitors among the Decepticons.
Tarn is obsessed with Megatron and the Decepticon cause. Most of his body was modified based on that obsession, even the mask covering his battlescars.
Additional traits include:
-The ability to extinguish ones sparl with his voice alone
-Addicted to Transformation
-Lover of classical cybertronian music and literature
@@mynameisharry8739 wow he sounds awesome, sounds like starscream is the number one on their list of traitors
This is the only one coming out I'm pre-ordering. Highly anticipated 😝❤️ still wish hascrap would implement an ab crunch 😒
Those ports were only called MechTech ports in the DOTM line, because the weapons all had this spring loaded gimmick.
tarn is like the most normal and cool looking character just looking like a fan boy of the decepticon/megatron while the rest of Djd are too controversial and very sensitive looking bots to turn to toys

"What on earth was Hasbro on when they put this thing together? Because that's definitely what they need to be on"
DEAR GOD YES!!! TELL THEM 'BOUT THEYSELVES
You just said it: an almost perfect figure except for the molded unmovable mini-wheels beneath the thread… We came to acept this practice in flying vehicles for many aesthetic/economical reasons whatsoever (I have a generations deluxe sky shadow with the moving wheel gimmick… I like it, but I don’t mind the kingdom voyager cyclonus does not have it… however, in tanks, for some reason this does not feel right even if the figure is used mostly for display, wonder if such a tiny aspect now could raise the type to leader class…) oh well… I still want it (just will have to do a little micro-lifting for the stop motion sessions instead of dragging it)… ❤
I'm pretty picky of what I buy now coz of budget and lack of space- I don't know this bot but I'll grab it if I see it in store- ITS A GREAT FIGURE🤩
im getting REALLY annoyed at hasbro giving us figs that dont bloody roll. for the price involved wheels are a must. skullgrin was the one to bring the issue to the fore for me. the only justification i can see with Tarn is IMO he's aimed at us long time collectors and comics fans , just like with jhiaxus and impactor, so they know most of us are just gonna put him on display as opposed to play with him.
still its not something i'd like to see going forward.
on the character himself, its brilliant . deffo gonna pick him up and i cant help thinking alex milne and james roberts must be well chuffed to see his design and their character on the shelves .
Hello a new suscriber
Hello! Thanks so much for subbing! =)
I really want Tarn (Comic IDW Universe) so bad to complete with Dark Star Saber (TFP).
Yeah this is perfect. Hope the clear plastic holds up cause he looks amazing
Hopefully this means that they will make a voyager class Drift
Voyager?
A deluxe class would be more suitable for Drift, though it would still be interesting to see what they could do with a voyager budget?!
Talk about a birthday present and a half 🔥🙏
Is it your bday? If so HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
@@PrimeVsPrime thank you! 💯
