- I've added this clip to my exercise library thinking it may help some stroke survivors increase their independence by freeing them from needed help dressing themselves. Let me know what you think.

Very good!!! As an OT, I'm very proud!!!
Thank you for this demonstration, my dad has just recently suffered a stroke and unfortunately had a fall that broke his hip. He's still in hospital undergoing rehab so I've not been able to visit him due to covid restrictions but this has given me an insight into what he's being taken through by his wonderful nursing and therapy team
Me too! I As an OT I love that you said it takes time off your caregivers hand and it's good therapy to get yourself dressed!
Great video! I’m a COTA and very happy to see people with a CVA living as independently as they can!
That’s brilliant I too am a stroke survivor
Thank you for being such a Champion. You are an inspiration.
I'm an OT student, due to go on a stroke rehabilitation placement, and your video has been extremely helpful. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge.
Bravo! Thank you for your honest demonstration.
Great, I´m gonna use this in education for Occupathional therapist.

your great!! thxs
Thumbs Up. Yeah.
What if you dont have the balance
great demonstration but my client (i'm an OT in Israel) is not able to get her pants all the way up on the left side (which is her weak side) after going to the toilet. any ideas? i thought maybe some kind of suspenders on that side.Adena
Adena Rothstein Did you ever find a solution to this? I'm an OT too and tons of my clients struggle with this.
what about adding loops to the tops of the pants to help pull up?
A dressing hook, perhaps hung beside the toilet on her good side
thats great but what if the person cant move thair leggs
I wannna add that my good side needs grippers otleast a thin carpet to help me stable
yep strokes aren't for whimps 8 mos of rehab and hospital home now yeh
What if their weak leg won't stay on their knee?
then possibly need to use a reacher to help lower the pants, fit the leg though and pull up
