I think this is my fave cam because it has a 4 blade aperture which yields a kinda "chunky" bokeh and that has a very unique look which I like. It's also very small , light and closes up so nicel
Just discovered your channel. I enjoyed the blend of casual but interesting photos and running commentary. If you mentioned this point, I missed it, but the XA has only an aperture priority exposure system - no manual control over the shutter speed, so no control over the exposure. The XA was hugely successful because it combined a fully set of features (except exposure control) in a light, super compact body. However the price of the compact size was a unique lens design which limits the image sharpness and control of optical defects. It's good for its intended purpose as a snapshot camera, but almost of its competing small compact cameras of the day will totally outclass its imaging quality.
Randall Stewart I like it for the fact it gives a little creative control, but also the fact I can find them very cheaply here with broken shutter buttons (an easy fix) and can sell them on. Of you’re willing to play around with the iso/push&pull film a little. The creative control is whatever you want it to be. I’m mostly shooting Pan400 through mine.
zoeygonzalez08 Thanks for your comment! I've never had to speak into a camera before, so being on camera makes me ramble more than usual. Hopefully in a few videos time, I’ll have worked out the muddles and stuttering. There’s plenty more cameras to get through, so stay tuned! 😊
You deserve more view and subscriber. Your contents are great!
Newbie to film photography here.
Just got one today! Thanks for the video 👌

You should get 39 frames out of that.
38 and a half if you're careful.
Really great video!! Your channel has a lot of potential!
