Hey Edward nice to hear from you 👋🏻 I know right that dumpster shot turned out soooooo cool and I wasn’t expecting that. I quite like this film I would buy it again I think…I hope you get to try it 💜💜
Nice, I like what you did with it and thanks for the mention! Gotta say I loved that music track, had me feeling like I was playing a retro Japanese game like Ninja Gaiden or something 😁
Glad you like it Hashem 💜 funny you say that about the music as my partner watched a trailer for a game called “eastward” and that inspired him to make the music for this video haha 😂 he is playing it now actually and he also said he played that game you said when he was young. He is stoked you said that 😊👍🏻
It' s a film for experimenting with colors. Kind of Blade runner vibe. I like the film. The shot of you channel are unique, because you choose objects that often nobody cares. That is why it's never boring to look at your shots. Not more of the same. And that's cool and inspiring. A new look of the streets. With plants, leaves, flowers, houses, entrances, car parks, colored signs, windows, pillars and amazing perspectives of skyscrapers. Well done, Lucy.
Thank you 🙏🏻 you are too kind! I think RUclips needs some diversity and I hope my channel makes people who think shooting film is difficult or intimidating realise it can be easy and fun! Also, I feel people don’t use flash enough and it looks so cool! 👍🏻📸😍
I love seeing lomo purple shots but my recent experience with it was more meh. I think it may have been due to the camera I used so I'll give another one a shot. Loved the picnic bench.
Hey 👋🏻 thank you glad you enjoyed it! Hope you have more luck with the next roll of purple 💜👍🏻 I shot cinestill 50d recently and I wasn’t happy with my shots but I think I choose the wrong camera for it…hard to always get the right pairing.
I've never really been drawn to lomo purple because I felt like it was too over the top/couldn't visualize what photos I'd want to take with it, but I loved your results from shooting it at night and with the flash. It retains the unique purple shifts but seems softer and less in your face. I'm definitely going to have to pick some up when I get film next!
Hey Emma 👋🏻 yes I felt exactly the same and definitely couldn’t visualise how my photos would look with lomo purple so I kind of put off shooting it…I hope you get some and try it I’m sure they will look great 👍🏻 and hey thanks for watching 😊💜 it’s nice to connect with female viewers/photographers 👏🏻📸🙏🏻
Hi Lucy. I like very much, that you always try out new things. Makes the channel special. The comparison with the red lights and the leaves (5:58) is very interesting how different the two films render the colors. Also I like, that you often use a flash with the Nikon L35AF. It's uncommon but amazing. looks superb. The night vibe looks so very science fiction. For example the colors of the restaurant (7:39).
Hello my friend!!!!! Thank you so much I appreciate your words and I do try and make it different so it’s nice to hear you say that. I think sci fi is a perfect description for the way these look, I wanted it to look kind of alien and weird. 💜💜
@@LucyLumen Have you seen the film Cowboys & Aliens? I like this one. Do you had time to watch the nirvana concert already? My thoughts of the performance of this concert. Not from this world.
I love lomo purple. Such a fun film to play with. Love the results of your night photography, especially the picnic table & the dumpsters. As always great job! Now I wanna go shoot lomo purple @ night. ☺️
Hey Christina 👋🏻 thanks for watching 😊 glad you liked it, and yes I agree lomo purple is super cool and I can’t wait to shoot it again and try something different. 💜💜💜
Hi there Lucy. 💜 the way you shot this unique film, shooting Lomo Purple at night with flash definitely gives the film something different and cool. So excited for your future videos.
Hey Alex 💜💜 thank you as always for your kind words 🙏🏻 I’m glad you were vibing the photos and the flash, I was quite impressed with how they came out 😊 Yes lots coming up on the channel stay tuned 💜💜 hope you are well lovely 👋🏻
Yes I know right! That yellow turned such a cool colour. Haha 😂 science is not my strong point but niche entertainment definitely is!! Glad you enjoyed and hope you are well it’s the weekend, best time 👍🏻😊📸🎞🙏🏻💜
Hey Michael, thanks for watching this video. I am so pleased to hear that your feel inspired! Feel free to connect on Instagram and share your photos with me once you’ve shot your purple with the flash, would love to see!
I've just shot two of my three rolls of 120 Purple after threatening to try it for years now. I blamed not using it on the fact that I lived in more of a tan desert environment of Southern California, but now that I live in the Pacific Northwest, I just had to try it. But just like you, I didn't JUST want to shoot green trees, and tried other things...fingers crossed! As an old Impossible Project Pioneer I've talked to them about the possibility of making an instant film that acts like Lomo Purple or Turquoise and they say it's actually possible to do such a thing...how cool would that be?
Hey Patrick 👋🏻 thanks for watching! I had my roll for ages too before I actually shot it, once you’ve shot it one time I think then you know more what you are in for and feel more confident or get inspired to shoot it differently next time. Hope your 120 rolls come out nice. Wow that would be so cool if Polaroid did that!!! I have a pack of the Polaroid blue film I am yet to shoot. Hope you are enjoying the channel Patrick thanks for stopping by 📷🎞👍🏻😊🙏🏻
I haven't tried this film. It's crazy how the yellow of the dumpsters turned a perfect purple. Nice shot of you in the grass.

@@LucyLumen right? I feel like most IG/YT accounts make it seem so easy. I'm over here struggling to figure out what the heck I did wrong. :P

That safety yellow really came out nice and shocking pink/purplish. Nice experiment. This isn't just niche genre entertainment, it's also science :)

You captures including greenery inspires me to seek one or two locations in my quarter with a flash and lomo purple in 120 format.

Seems nice at night.. I think it works better at night rather than during the day from what I have seen.. More subtle maybe
Hey Anthony 👋🏻 thank you for watching. I like it at night too and I love the way the flash looks with it too! Hope you are enjoying the channel 😊🙏🏻🎞📸
Hi is your Nikon l35af the 400 or 1000 version
Hey 👋🏻 it’s the 1000! Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
i like some of the photos but i'd say it's a bit risky taking flash shots of long distance subjects. Gonna be a lot of noise in general.
