Oh man grabbed a 120 film of this last month but haven't shot it yet because I've been doing more B&W work. Watching this video reminded me that I had one and probably gonna go and shoot it next weekend! Thanks for all the amazing videos you create!
Bro!!! I just got into film and I found your channel.. but I was looking at your videos and I seen that it’s you!!! Your the guy that played sleepwalker as a kid!! Dude I love that video! Glad I found you from two different interests!
Nice video, thanks for sharing your experience. I found that this film needs light, the more the better. The results are always otherworldly. Overall, a fun film. Certainly not for everyone and everything.
I love the result on the snow and blue sky, it was wacky in a good way. You should try the new formula one that supposedly has more punchy and vibrant red tone to it.
love it been wanting to buy some at my local film shop but cant scranche up the money yet. just got a fuji xt2 been having fun with that in the meantime so i can conserve my film shooting 😅
i'm getting back into photography i've been doing alot of vlogs and have been wanting to take some dope behind the scenes pics these photos came out dope :D love the singing btw lol i might be by the bay area for spring break i might stop at this light house looks amazing the viewa look crazy! your channel got me to fall in love with photography again much love from LA
Aerochrome is the film that makes all the greens pink. Similar look I guess but Aerochrome is basically infrared as far as I know. Think this lomochrome purple is more stylistic maybe? Never tried Aerochrome though. Discontinued unfortunately.
I ran a roll of this through my Holga 120N because I am stupid sometimes. The results were … horrific. Out of the roll of 12 maybe one? was worth keeping. And that’s only if I looked at it with one eye closed. 🤢
I have a 2011 camcorder that i modified to full spectrum (by removing the infrared filter) and the colors of purple lomo is literally identical to the image present on the camcorder. Maybe something chemically affected by infrared is causing the purple cast? I could be wrong but if not... Wow, im impressed! Ive never seen something like that, specially on film.

Nice shots!
Absolutely love lomo purple. It’s such a fun film, 200ISO is the sweet spot for this film. Can’t wait for spring so I can shoot it again.

I shot it in Yosemite. It's simply amazing and gives you a unique look. I am trying out Turquoise now.

Super sick thnx for the inspo as always 😎
I would suggest shooting it on medium format. I’ve shot it on. Both formats and i found that it really shined with bigger negs.
Always love your videos!

And if you push lomo purple to 400 it will give a similar effect.

Lomochromo purple and turquoise are both regular non infrared negative film. Lomography interchanges the dye couplers of the emulsion.
@@andreaskarbe4030 oh really? That's neat Thanks 👍
Was hoping for some tunnel shots 😁
Awesome! Mabuhay!
Trippy, I like it. 😎
I come for the photography but stay for the singing tbh
thought they were taking em off the market...glad they didn't
Epic video, but I don’t like this lomo purple film.
I can't quite understand the purpose of it either. It's a bit puzzling to me.
