This game was just a regular season game, but it was an even bigger blowout and also the worst defensive performance by a team since 1966 in the very first season of the super bowl era. I would argue that both games are on similar levels of bad.

I got see the 76 Bucs who went 0-26 over two seasons. They were worse but no one bothered to run up the score this much as that team could not score hardly at all. Still this was a special day.

As a Dolphins fan who was too young to remember our last playoff win, surviving through the worst era in the team’s history, and finally seeing us round the corner, this was incredible. Dolphins had been synonymous with joke team pretty much my whole life and after years and years of swearing things will get better, they finally are.

This is a learning moment to never take anything that happens in the preseason to be a portent of the future. The Brady led Patriots would lose 3-4 preseason games all the time, but they always dominated in the regular season. Conversely the 08 Lions won every preseason game and lost every regular season game.

Bro did u actually watch? Until they put Mike white in they just ran the ball trying to chew the clock. The defense was literally so bad that half the time they ran it they ended up scoring. Not an exaggeration. The deep pass from Mike white in the fourth is a little questionable but keep in mind that’s a backup and a practice squad player trying to earn reps and put good reps on tape. We deserved every single point they scored on us.

These RBs we keep using ain't cutting it anymore. We also need to be creative calling the plays too, we go and call the same plays every time and it's old. Has been our problem for the last several seasons. Defense isn't clutch either which can be blamed on our offense not producing much of anything. We suck all around.

@@drew388funny you mention that because when Tua was at Alabama he averaged over 10 yards-per-play and a touchdown every 6.6 snaps. If he could have stayed healthy he would have probably won multiple Heismans. I sure hope he stays healthy this year because watching the guy play is simply incredible.

How so? Russ wasn't the problem. His stats weren't bad at all. It was the defense giving up 70 FREAKING POINTS in one of the biggest blowouts in NFL history. That Wilson actually managed to keep the offense on the field with a decent performance was the only reason Mike White didn't put up another touchdown (or two/three) in garbage time to take the all-time record. The defense deserves 100% of the blame here.

Titans fan here. I got to watch my team lose 27-3 to the Browns while so sick I couldn't get out of bed, but this historic loss by the Broncos helped me recover and feel less bad about it.
