    • @roboninja3194

Yea the record is 73 and Miami today scored the most points since 1966. Only 3 teams had ever scored 70 before. Bears scored 73 in 1940, Redskins with 72 in 1966, and the 1950 Rams scored 70. It certainly doesn't happen very often. After seeing the Chiefs up 34-0 at half I was thinking will 2 teams score 70 pts today? But the Chiefs have slowed down in the 2nd half.

This was personal for Mike McDaniels, he is from Denver and when he was wanting to interview for head coach the Broncos denied him an interview, so this was his chance to show them on what they missed out on, he still showed his class by not breaking the NFL record for most points scored in a game and bringing shame to Denver. Gotta imagine a bunch of kids watched this game and now the Dolphins are their favorite team because of how exciting Miami’s offense was/is. They may not stay fans forever since kids lose/change interest in things super fast, but for awhile at least, the Dolphins gained a lot of fans because of this.

What a blowout. 70-20 the final score. As a longtime Miami Dolphins fan, I am impressed.

I go back to the Marino, Duper and Clayton years and this is the best I've seen offensively since from the Dolphins. Stunning performance.

With a chance of scoring the most points in one game in NFL history, the Dolphins took a knee on 4th down instead of kicking a 44yd FG. The 40’ Bears’ 73 point record is still intact! 🤯
