@@waynejohanson1083 It pains me every time I hear anyone say "OH Marino never won a Super Bowl" or he's the "Best QB to never win one." If Marino ever had this number of weapons, any semblance of a running game, or certainly any defense at all, he would have won a lot of Super Bowls.
I didn't arrive in Miami then, but it was the first team I fell in love with as a little kid and that never faded. Paul Warfield was my favorite player as a kid, then of course it became Dan Marino many years later; and I loved Ricky Williams too. I've never seen offense like this either, but it also feels a little too easy. Marino never had the luxury of facing teams this soft or having seemingly a half dozen 4.3/40 guys on the field at the same time. It's insane.
I'm a Cowboys fan, but it was nice to see Miami look this good. They haven't been that good since Marino was in his prime and Don Shula was the man. Besides. I'm sick of the Patriots.
My first and only NFL game I been to was the Dolphins at Ravens during that comeback. As a dolphins fan I hope I never wake up. Just proud of that team.
Went to Miami for Vacation, watched my first football game in life an then was so lucky to be witness of such a historical moment. Can't believe my luck!
I think it's Tua knowing where every single player is at all times. If u see his progressions, he goes from first read and then 2nd and he knows exactly where that player is supposed to be at. Even the check downs are beautiful. Tua is like processing everything at once. It's amazing that I never noticed this. He's smart as hell
Huge props to McDaniel and the other coaches - the players too, obviously - but the Denver defensive play calling was terrible. It's like they forgot Tyreek Hill was playing - imagine the damage Waddle would have put on them!
Look here I have to give the Dolphins their props. That was the most impressive display of offense I've ever seen in NFL history. You Dolphin fans outta be proud of what your team did today. You guys have sat through so many rough seasons and now you get to celebrate the destruction they caused on Denver today. Congratulations from a Steeler fan.
this was insane to watch. I can honestly say I don't think anyone would have ever expected the Dolphins to come that close to the scoring record. on the flipside, no team would ever be happy giving up that many points, has to be such a soul crushing loss. I do feel bad for Denver, but boy am I so excited for the Fins
The Dolphin is the 1 and only team in the league that i would think could even come close to the record. Because of they receivers and backs. Doing it without Waddle was dope
Coach saw no reason to set that record...anyway...there will be other chances...just don't attach Sean Payton's name to that infamous history...classy of McDaddy!!!
I feel bad for the NFL. The product on the field this year has been laughable. It's time to consider getting rid of some small-market teams like Denver
It is amazing how far the Broncos have come since this day. I think this game is what has helped Denver the most in securing a 5 game win streak and counting.
This game was insanity. It will 100% be number 1 on trending soon. Also massive respect for the Dolphins coach for not embarrassing Denver. As a Miami fan it was a bittersweet moment 😂
@@jhs5356 because the dolphins knelt rather than choosing to kick the fieldgoal to set the highest scoring point in an nfl game which was 72 set in 1940 or 1966 lmao
This gotta be the greatest turnaround for a QB and team I’ve ever seen out of all the years I’ve watched football. Last year this Dolphins team struggled and Tua suffered serious head injuries to the point where he fenced live on TV, now a year later he’s playing real life Madden on rookie mode lol. First time since 1966 has a team scored this much in an NFL game 🤯😳what’s so insane about this Dolphins team is that literally the ENTIRE offense gets involved and impacts games, any and every receiver and RB that comes in the game immediately impacts the game. Never seen anything like this before…
Not going to lie, I was not a Tua believer. Before last year, I didn't think he had what it takes to be an NFL QB. He started the season well last year, then had that horrific injury (x2). He clearly put it together, and I just really hope that he doesn't have any more concussions. I'd love to see him be a legit force in the NFL. Will be fun to watch him and Allen compete in the AFC East for years.
Lol, the only reason the Dolphins struggled last year was because of Tua's injury. It wasn't the team in general, that injury screwed them. I'm a Pats fan and can admit that even last season they were great, I bet they would have gone 14-3 at the least of Tua didn't get hurt. So saying this is the greatest turnaround you've ever seen from a team is odd. I knew they would be a force this season, they were a force last season until that injury to.

Man y'all must really never won anything with that franchise if y'all excited off of a 3rd week win lol.. I don't care how many points they scored the best offense on turf will always be the 99-2002 St Louis Rams. straight facts..
As a Dolphins fan this is unbelievable. I never thought I'd see the day that we had a real offense again. Not since Marino and the Mark's brothers have they been this good.
Yeah, we've had some big games over the years, but they have been surprising with the type of offense and disarray we have been under for some time. This, feels good. I'm still in awe after watching this game. Absolutely insanity.
yeah.. I wish the nfl don't gets forced to use female commentators like in other league (nba, nhl) it's very annoying hearing women commentating a physical sports game
The Dolphins doing this without Jaylen Waddle is both hilarious and terrifying. When the Dolphins got to 35, I was joking about them dropping 70. Then they actually did it 😂.
My Dad and Mom were dolphins fans, dad been gone since 2011 but my mom and another dolphins fan friend of mine both passed earlier this year. I know our loved ones got the Fins Fan section upstairs rocking tonight 🔥
This was personal for Mike McDaniels, he is from Denver and when he was wanting to interview for head coach the Broncos denied him an interview, so this was his chance to show them on what they missed out on, he still showed his class by not breaking the NFL record for most points scored in a game and bringing shame to Denver. I am a 49ers fan but I admire McDaniels genius, plus the dude is a class act and very humble and down to earth. Hope the dolphins do well this year. #Niners
I'm from Pittsburgh I can appreciate what you said the Steelers offense is so inept this year so far .Hopefully they can somehow come out of Las Vegas with a win.
As I watched these highlights, I was resigned to believe they will never win another game with Coach T and Canada thinking it is 1975. Watching this hurts me deep in my soul as a Steelers fan...

Addition by subtraction. After Hill the next highest targeted WR/TE was Berrios with 2. 100% chance if Waddle is playing they throw the ball more and would've had fewer rushing attempts.
@@JorgeHernandez-be3ho Possibly, but relying on the pass like they normally do also opens you up to sacks, ints, 3rd and longs. This is pretty much the first game since McDaniel became HC that they actually focused on running the ball.
As a Panthers fan, this is one incredible performance I have ever seen. This Miami team is definitely for real this season and if they play like they did here, then not only they'll win AFC East for the first time since 2008, but I'll say this team can win the AFC.
I’m from Vancouver Canada and Iv been a dolphins fan since grade 1. To see them finally dominating teams since Marino leaving makes me cry. They should have kicked a field goal to break the record.
The highest scoring game i witnessed was when Fred Taylor's 90-yard touchdown run set the tone for the Jaguars in a 62-7 playoff win over the Miami Dolphins following the 1999 season.. thats game was insane
The fact that TUA didn't play the full game koz he was just perfect, and they brought in their 3rd string backup QB and he still managed to score just goes to show this offense ain't no joke and should strike fear to other defences in our already hard schedule.
There hasn't been a lot to celebrate about DC Football for a very long time. All of our great memories are in the past. I will always have so much respect for Coach McDaniel, whether it was on purpose or not, myself and millions of fans really appreciate him for keeping alive one of the few great memories of The Redskins.
Man, as a Fins fan all my life and a Tua-doubter, not because of his talent but health, this team is heading for a season of the ages; keep this man upright, please. The only thing stopping hem is their health.
Well, maintaining one's health as an athlete is part of the daily grind that every professional goes through. When it happens, it happens, and their is no way around it. They perform at their best at the top most level. For you to mention you doubt Tua because because of his health is utterly ridiculous and illogical!! Typical of the disingenuous dolphin fan who's basically a casual and non athlete in real life!!!😀
Being a Broncos fan, I think once Miami put up 56, all I could do was laugh because if not I would just cry. I almost wish they had gone for 73 points just for the history of it. I’ve always had a soft spot for Miami, so I’m glad they have this offense going for them. Broncos country, let’s hide.
I watched the Redskins beat the Giants 72-41 on TV when it happened. The only two plays I remember were two TD passes from Sonny Jurgensen to Charley Taylor. There was also a fumble return TD, an interception TD and a punt return TD. It can take a lot of extra scores to get that many points.
It takes some offenses 3 games to get over 700 yards but the dolphins literally got it one game and made it look so easy. This offense in just 3 games has looked absolutely stunning it’s kinda scary lmao

They may not stay fans forever since kids lose/change interest in things super fast, but for awhile at least, the Dolphins gained a lot of fans because of this.

I arrived in Miami with the Dolphins winning back to back Super Bowls including going undefeated. I have never seen an offense like this. Amazing.
We had season tickets in that era. Totally different kinda game back then everything was about defense & running the ball down the other team's throat with bullies like Zonk.
Imagine if Marino had this offense. He would have won a Super Bowl.

McDaniel knows what he's doing. Masterful. The offense is run through Hill.

First time since 1966 has a team scored this much in an NFL game 🤯😳what’s so insane about this Dolphins team is that literally the ENTIRE offense gets involved and impacts games, any and every receiver and RB that comes in the game immediately impacts the game. Never seen anything like this before…
They’ve played 3 games bud chill out still time for them to mess it up
I would feel real bad if Tua gets hurt. He really is dominating this year.
