Everyone better cherish this moment because I’m not sure if we’ll ever see 70 points scored in our life time again.
Yea the record is 73 and Miami today scored the most points since 1966. Only 3 teams had ever scored 70 before. Bears scored 73 in 1940, Redskins with 72 in 1966, and the 1950 Rams scored 70. It certainly doesn't happen very often. After seeing the Chiefs up 34-0 at half I was thinking will 2 teams score 70 pts today? But the Chiefs have slowed down in the 2nd half.
I didn’t watch the game but when I saw 70 as the final score on my espn app I thought my phone was tripping.
Same haha@@MarioMartinez-tt9ly
Well I sure the Broncos had a good week of practice. The first dolphin touch down says it all about this game
With the new rules, I’m sure we will see it again
Not a dolphins fan, but I’m glad they scored 70 while at home. Gave the fans a once in a lifetime experience
but the fans?? this was more of a player lifetime experience, imagine your team which you actually play in scores 70 and you were a part of that? amazing! but being a fan still feels amazing
I was there, the stadium was electric... Fins up!!!
I mean if they did it in Denver it would have still been a once in a lifetime experience. Only the fans would never want to experience it again
Hey! None of that once in a lifetime stuff. Next home game, might break the record!
Dolphins better than the Chiefs.
Never thought I’d ever see the Dolphins have an offense this good. 70 points!!! Fins up!
Don’t forget the defense kept the broncos to only 20 pts, May have been 13 pts if it wasn’t for the return.
The defense made it happen with the turnovers and the great field position
I’ve never seen an offense this good period. Only thing close in my lifetime are the early 2000s Rams, 07 Patriots, or the Chiefs when Mahomes threw 50 TDs 😅
It’s never been dis good since Dan Marino
Marino beat the 85 bears
The greatest offensive performance from a team in a single game I’ve ever seen. 10 TDs, no turnovers, 726 total yards, 7 TDs from running backs. This was just surreal.
fire Sean Payton. Dude been overrated.
8 TDs by running backs, both Mostert and Achane had 4.
Poor Brandon perna
And tua completed every pass in the first half and an 88% completion rate overall
@newagain9964 Payton dosent call defensive plays this is Vance Joseph's defense .
Watching this felt like watching a season highlight reel not single game.
😂😂😂
felt like Madden looool
Some teams don't give up 70 points in the span of 5 or 6 games.
Boncos did it in 1, and it would've been more had the dolphins coaching staff not shown pity on them and pulled the starters
I agree with what you said
Kevin Harlan called this game all by himself. The dude is pure excitement
Considering the Broncos racked up 375 total yards and the Dolphins turned it over in the first half, 70 points is a remarkable display of efficiency. Scary offense. Balanced and precise.
70?
I'm not even a Broncos fan but man.... watching this game made me wanna cry for them 😭
Naw this a good ole L
This is why Homer Simpson never liked them
The fact that there were still some in the stands after the 3rd quarter is mind blowing
Now the Broncos know how the Giants feel after their loss to the Cowboys in week one!
I’m a Broncos fan. I wish the Dolphins scored 100. It’s time to purge everyone. Scorched earth on the coaches.
Imagine taking a flight to Miami from Denver to watch your team play and have 70 points dropped on them. Praying for the Broncos fans who attended this game 🙏🙏
Pray nobody dies this time
Denver has had quite a hard time ever since signing Russell Wilson.
it wasn’t Denver but it was new york for me 😂😂 that’s crazy reading this cause that’s all i was thinking in my head ! i’m even ended vacation early
Nobody takes a flight to watch an away game unless they’re related to players or media
Sean Payton should learn a lesson from this. Tried to blame another coach enjoy your start to the season dufus.
Respect to Miami. RIP Denver. Thanks to you two we got a once-in-a-generation game.
The fact that they could've scored 83pts.
But they so lucky they got to witness this live in person
70 points scored by a team in the NFL??! This felt like a college level game. INSANE!! 🤯
Taking nothing from Miami but definitely college level defense from Broncos.
This felt like me on Madden, playing on rookie mode. 😅

And it was against Denver- perfect.
At first I thought I was looking at basketball scores lol.
I don't know what to say but.. I've officially lived to see a 70 point game
So have I. I loved every minute of it. Insane stuff!
Aye same!!!!
onggg
73 or 77 if they chose to.......
We all have lmao
It was INSANE to decide not to kick a final field goal to break the all time scoring record.
Yeah they should’ve just kicked it to set the record. McDaniel got in his own head by trying to be too humble.
73 would’ve tied it. Bears beat the Redskins 73-0 in 1940.
@@brandonnonameregular season
McDaniels was a broncos fan as a kid he wouldn’t do us like that
tbh they wouldn’t have broke it but they still should’ve to atleast tie.. still an amazing game
At 70-20 and having had the potential to do more damage, the only mistake the Dolphins made was giving the Broncos mercy.
They don’t just have talent. That play calling was insane. Super creative

I thought i was hallucinating when i saw the scoreline.... Did a double take before realising it was 70 points.... Wow.... Most dynamic n explosive receiving core. 😍
Without Waddle too is crazy. Tua the perfect fit for this roster and the coach is bringing the quick pass option game. If Murray gets an offense like this he would be deadly
@@mickandme1uhh no there better

A one yard pitch should be a top ten play of the season?!!? I can tell you never played at any level 🤡
It didn't even seem to fake anyone out, but Achane did not care.
He did it again at 11:30 too 😂

As a Panthers fan, this is one incredible performance I have ever seen. This Miami team is definitely for real this season and if they play like they did here, then not only they'll win AFC East for the first time since 2008, but I'll say this team can win the AFC.
Relax. They are mediocre. They got whooped by the bills who we just beat.
Here after the broncos are 5-5 after Minnesota... Its crazy how football works sometimes and how all it takes is a little momentum and a little moral to fight against all odds
*morale
Mr. Unlimiteddddd
Here after the Broncos went 8-9
I've never seen an 70 pt NFL game before. This is crazy.
You'd have to be at least 65 years old to have seen one and remember it.
Plus the 70 points were all OFFENSIVE points and that's never been done before. No Defensive or return TDs like the other teams to score 70 points.
IT ABSOLUTELY could have been 73, as they has a chip shot kick, and decided to kneel and give the ball over on downs which was bs. They also had all their 2nd and 3rd string guys playing about halfway into the 3rd quarter. So we could have dropped 2 or 3 more tds.
I just said the same thing like WTF!!!
Very kind of Miami to play against a local Colorado high school team on Sunday..
Y’all better remember this moment because this is one of the greatest offensive performances in nfl history
I don't think we'll need any encouragement remembering a performance like this!
It was more of a defensive performance than an offensive one....
@@quintonbailey9861 Sure, in special cuz it was 70 points in a game.
More like the best performance in history
The best bar none(Regular Season). Eagles- Patriots superbowl probably best game due to the quality from both teams on both sides of the ball...In the Super bowl too.
That 99 yard return was effortless 🔥🔥🔥🔥
i'm from Brazil, and i'm enjoying so much to watch the Dolphins this season🏈🔥🔥
The fact we got this historic record-setting game is great. The fact we got it with Kevin Harlan on the call makes it even better.
Soon as I heard Kevin Harlan was calling the game I knew it was gonna be good
The fact Waddle didn't play was even scarier lol
Kevin "I'm Calling Both Games" Harlan
For real. Kevin Harlan is an outstanding announcer
Kevin Harlan is my favorite. Dude is just electric.
I don't think I've ever seen a score like this before. Never seen an offense like this before 😲
My friend is a Bronco fan, and this was so stupendously outrageous that I didn't even bother to chirp at him....
The most impressive thing wasn't that the Dolphins put up 70 and set/broke records today. It was that they did it WITHOUT Waddle.
Yeah that’s amazing alone. Not having one of your most important players and still dominating just shows that Miami is great even without waddle. Hopefully he will be back soon and they will be better then ever!
What was the record? 🙄
Most yards they're up there in 2nd but not #1
Most points in nfl they're 3rd
What record(s) did they break lmao? They decided to not break the record that they were 3 away from
Yeah but adding achmain and the number 0 really helps waddle and Tyreek. They are really fast and can catch too
I’ve been a Dolphins fan for 30+ years and this is the best team we’ve had in my lifetime as a fan.
Good for you and I truly mean that coming from a raiders fan I hope y'all win the Superbowl 💯
Same here. And that's saying something when you consider Marino! We've been suffering for over 20 years and now we get to enjoy a great team with incredible leadership. I can't imagine how this year turns into 9-8 or 8-9. We'll see the real test next week!!!
Ricky Williams likes this

What a performance from the Dolphins Offence. The amount of yards and TD's are just insane. Achane is such an enjoyable player to watch.
This was personal for Mike McDaniels, he is from Denver and when he was wanting to interview for head coach the Broncos denied him an interview, so this was his chance to show them on what they missed out on, he still showed his class by not breaking the NFL record for most points scored in a game and bringing shame to Denver. I am a 49ers fan but I admire McDaniels genius, plus the dude is a class act and very humble and down to earth. Hope the dolphins do well this year. #Niners

I watched the Redskins beat the Giants 72-41 on TV when it happened. The only two plays I remember were two TD passes from Sonny Jurgensen to Charley Taylor. There was also a fumble return TD, an interception TD and a punt return TD. It can take a lot of extra scores to get that many points.

This is the kind of team that will score 70 points in one game and then give up 56 later in the year. Typical Dolphins
Ravens like to run up the score on strong teams, Dolphins like to run up the score on bottom tier teams
@@simba8251 As a Ravens diehard, we hadn't scored more than 38 points all season until that game, we weren't running up the score most of the time against contending teams but we were doing more than enough to put them away by the 4th Quarter. What a freight train of an offense!!!
The backfield of Miami is unreal!
The fact that none of it was a defensive touchdown is astounding. They got a good handful of turnovers, but this was purely the offense going wherever they wanted
Never quite seen an offensive line give so much peace to a QB like this game. Tua just stood there comfortably and picked his plays. No pressure from the defensive line whatsoever.
Exactly 😂😂😂
As somebody who did not get to watch this game live, upon seeing the numbers I wondered if there even was a defensive line 😂
Running game helped tremendously with that too but again as you said o line gave those runner great gaps which then made the defense have to think about how to defend tua and the dolphins.

The Denver Broncos, ladies and gentlemen.
It seems like on every play the receivers were open, a masterful job of playcalling by McDaniel. The amount of speed on this team is insane.
McDaniel knows what he's doing. Masterful. The offense is run through Hill.
I think it's Tua knowing where every single player is at all times. If u see his progressions, he goes from first read and then 2nd and he knows exactly where that player is supposed to be at. Even the check downs are beautiful. Tua is like processing everything at once. It's amazing that I never noticed this. He's smart as hell
The offense that mike installed is quarterback friendly
Huge props to McDaniel and the other coaches - the players too, obviously - but the Denver defensive play calling was terrible. It's like they forgot Tyreek Hill was playing - imagine the damage Waddle would have put on them!
And to think Waddle was out this game....insane!
The speed of the dolphins is just insane. Hill, Mostert and Achane are so fast. Dolphins going to win a lot of games this year, and this was without Waddle as well.
Yeah especially Hill seems to just have that extra one or two steps on defenders in acceleration that is the difference between getting tackled and making it past that first defender or two
Waddle is fast too along with Tua reads. He is really quick as well. Notice that he doesn't run for mileage? But he's elusive.

Look here I have to give the Dolphins their props. That was the most impressive display of offense I've ever seen in NFL history. You Dolphin fans outta be proud of what your team did today. You guys have sat through so many rough seasons and now you get to celebrate the destruction they caused on Denver today. Congratulations from a Steeler fan.
I am proud! The Dolphins have broken my heart for many a year, but not today!
I'm glad I picked up Mosert this week. I also had Devonte Adams.. almost had 90 points between those two.
One my most favorite teams of all time. Go phins
Not a Dolphins fan, but got to give them mad respect 🫡 they looked unstoppable😬
looks like when they invented the wild cat
Look at the stadium the sun beaming on the broncos sideline and dolphins sideline is all shade
@@jesseortiz6627 That is called homefield advantage.
@@Darkness-ie2ylu real for this one
Please supporting me 🙏❤️
41 years the Dolphin's have been my team. After Marino retired I thought our time was done. Then today happens. I never ever thought that I would see the Phins score 70 points. In fact I never thought any team would score 70 points in my lifetime. Today history was written. The highest score since 1966, two years before I was born.😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊
Born and raised in Fort Lauderdale florida. Raised a dolphins fan, my mom and I flew back home from Colorado which we moved to 6 years ago to watch this game. Will never forget
The Dolphins could have hung that record on them but didn't. That shows good sportsmanship!
Being British and being a fins fan hasn't been easy at times.. but ive always been loyal! Never been to a game ever😢 and ive shed tears many times, but last night.. they were full of joy. As a 57yr old i still and always will wear my shirt with pride on matchdays..no matter the result Fins up always❤🐬
I moved to Miami from the UK forty years ago, just in time to see Marino’s career take off. My English buddy and me complain we’re cursed as England and Fins supporters because they always leave us heartbroken. Maybe Tua can take them all the way this year.
I agree with what you said
