Insane how Branch fell to them in the second round. I still remember everyone hating the Campbell pick but it was one of their biggest needs on defense. Even a lot of people hated the Gibbs pick at 12 but look how incredible he was tonight. LaPorta as well. What an incredible job by the Lions front office
I grew up watching and loving the Steelers and I'm still a huge Steelers fan. However, for the last year and a half, I can't help buy root for the Lions. Dan Campbell and their Owner has completely turned the Lions around. 2 seasons ago, they didn't win their first game until the 11th week. They ended winning 3 games that season. Last season, they started off with a 1 and 6 record. They were very close to winning in all of those games. Nonetheless, they were 1-6. The coaches and the players never gave up. They ended have the best winning percentage for the final 10 games as the went 8-2 in the final 10 games. That's why them beating the Chiefs doesn't surprise me. For those who say, "well we didn't have Kelce", wait until Jameson Williams and 4 other key defensive players return

Hutch was a monster this game, even with Taylor not being called for lining up improperly, holding, and false starting nearly the entire game. Lots of pressure. More is needed! Much improved defense by the looks of it.
Height of the lineman comes into account. The official that was announcing the game (for me at least) was saying that his head has to lineup with the centers chest. And as far as I know he was. He did get called I think once for a false start because he mistimed the hell out of the snap 😂 Edit: I should clarify that the announcers brought in a head official to explain Taylor’s lineups

I was working downtown at the hospital as the game was playing and my patients were going OFF🎉🎉🎉 ngl it was really cool to see some patients forget about what they were going thru from their hospital beds and just be proud Detroiters. As a diehard lifetime Lions fan, this is what I have been holding my breath and waiting for. I believe this whole organization from top to bottom finally has things coming together all at once and we all believe in one another, from the fans to the ownership! This was far from a perfect game on both sides, but still a very good, enjoyable game. Both teams made plenty of key mistakes (I question so many times on 3rd-and-short opting to pass when our run game was clearly pretty successful, and of course all the key drops made by KC receivers), but I think finally the nation is looking at the Lions and saying, "well, alright, these guys are for real." Let this be the start of something wonderful! #OnePride

Coming back to this game as a Lions fan, the game that started the best season in Lions Super Bowl era history, makes me excited for next season. They might not have taken it all this year, but they've never had a better season after so many years of suffering. Can't wait for more football.

Hutch was a monster this game, even with Taylor not being called for lining up improperly, holding, and false starting nearly the entire game. Lots of pressure. More is needed! Much improved defense by the looks of it.
Height of the lineman comes into account. The official that was announcing the game (for me at least) was saying that his head has to lineup with the centers chest. And as far as I know he was. He did get called I think once for a false start because he mistimed the hell out of the snap 😂

As a diehard lifetime Lions fan, this is what I have been holding my breath and waiting for. I believe this whole organization from top to bottom finally has things coming together all at once and we all believe in one another, from the fans to the ownership!
This was far from a perfect game on both sides, but still a very good, enjoyable game. Both teams made plenty of key mistakes (I question so many times on 3rd-and-short opting to pass when our run game was clearly pretty successful, and of course all the key drops made by KC receivers), but I think finally the nation is looking at the Lions and saying, "well, alright, these guys are for real."

I'm also a Steelers fan, and I absolutely hate the Chiefs. I've never been more into a football game were neither of my teams were playing. I would be very happy if the Lions make the playoffs this year, unless they wear those gray uniforms again this year.

Coming back to this game as a Lions fan, the game that started the best season in Lions Super Bowl era history, makes me excited for next season. They might not have taken it all this year, but they've never had a better season after so many years of suffering. Can't wait for more football.
