thanks a lot for this video, I recently got an AE-1 from my grandpa that passed away on covid... I love this cam as much as he loved it and I'm happy I can keep giving this thing love as it once got. one of the things I missed to check is light seals, and I didn't even know you could get replacements for those, thanks a lot! I also have trouble with making the kit flash work (speedlite 155A), I believe it could be because the ON indicator light is burnt after all these years and that's why it doesn't work... my batteries sort of heat up when switched on, but it won't flash. I'd be glad if you have any tips.
