Now, six months later, after the Xenoblade 3 announcement actually happened, I'm astonished that almost everything discussed in this video turned out to be correct.
Don't mind me, just checking in on this after the Direct six months later. Yeah... based on the trailer, this rumor was pretty much right on the money.

The rumors about XC3 make the main storylines for XC1 and XC2 less practical and logical if XC3 tries to blend them together for its story. Starting around Chapter 7 in XC2 where Malos wields a Monado (a blatant reference to XC1 and if you don't consider Shulk, Fiora and Elma as DLC canon), XC2 make more references to its predecessor. Inferno Guldo has Galea's ID card. Klaus is the benevolent and apparently the original half of the two creators with Zanza being the part of him that desired to be the god of a new world that appears in XC1 having created it. Both of these pieces of information starting with the upper/top of the Orbital Elevator/World Tree (Klaus/Zanza and Galea) appear in both installments at different times/ways in the main story to show connections. It appears pretty early on in XC1 due to setting up the story as it happens before the story actually begins properly. It appears relatively very late in XC2 as it's most likely from Klaus's memories of what he did before he created Alrest. Klaus even mentions that the other half of him is in a different 'world'. To finally hit the nail in before the Definitive Edition came out, right before Rex and Pneuma use Genesis Blade to hit Aion/Malos, we hear Shulk's voice as Klaus knows that his death is rapidly approaching and that there isn't much time left for the attempt to save all of Alrest as Malos has to be defeated first. All the Definitive Edition really added in was making the fact that Alvis is Ontos by changing the key into a Red Aegis Core Crystal and that it was him who fled from the XC2 world. Melia showing up in the XC2's future world would make no sense as she's not an Aegis (who are capable of warping/rewriting reality at their will) and that the worlds of XC1 and XC2 are 'parallel' to each other and not on one big planet. The DLC messes things up as apparently the Nopon Archsage is capable of creating dimensional portals in similar 'worlds' that allow beings to move in and out but not without restrictions and it's DLC and not part of the actual story. If it's really far into Alrest's future (keep in mind that XC2 keeps lifespans relatively normal unlike XC1 which made fun of this due to Melia's race which were akin to elves who age much slower than normal beings), outside of the few handful XC1 cat outside of Melia herself, the few XC2 cast members that would remain would be Pyra, Mythra, Nia and any surviving Flesh Eater/Blade Eater since any normal Blade can only remain manifested as themselves for as long as possible for as long as their Drivers are alive before they return to their Core Crystals. XC3 would be missing at least half or more of the combined cast from both games that players really liked and love and for them to return would require a lot of bs plot writing.
@@bitrel07 Also the fact the only multiversal object/technology, the Conduit/Zohar is gone and is somewhere else and no canonical character in any game has the ability or technology to move between dimensions.
@@triplek-dysongamingwithdan7771 I just don't see this new 'Xenoblade Chronicles' game being able to be an actual sequel in Alrest's future because the canon endings to both 1 and 2 show that it's impossible to transverse between worlds/dimensions even if the Aegis are still alive (their reality warping powers and lives are seemingly powered by the Conduit which is now gone or rather depowered and powerless). XC1 had Shulk telling Alvis that he wishes for a world without gods ruling over anyone before he promptly cuts Zanza (Klaus's evil half) literally in half, top down. Alvis aka Ontos the missing Aegis does just that and then seemingly 'vanishes' afterwards. Meanwhile at the same time in XC2, Klaus knows that his other half is about to die (which will also kill him at the same time). The Conduit which is near him is shown to start dimming as its power is about to go away for apparently forever and right as both Shulk and Rex/Pneuma land the final blows, Klaus uses the rest of his power to bid his last farewell gift. Pyra and Mythra being 'revived' was thanks to the Conduit having just a little bit of power left to power their Core Crystal up (unless you deem that pretty bad script writing) and that's not enough to grant the ability to change reality if it was just barely able to provide enough charge for them to be 'revived'.
A generic crossover of good (with the characters from all 3 games) versus evil (the Fogbeasts or Gnosis or whatever's coming) would be really disappointing given the complexity of the story and lore in these games, like how the Battle of Winterfell and the White Walkers were handled in the Game of Thrones TV show. Edit: Maybe a better comparison for the Fogbeasts/Gnosis rather than White Walkers (maybe) would be Kang the Conqueror as he's going to appear in the MCU, as he's a multiversal threat that would make sense heroes would team up against.
There's enough loose ends to indicate the series is going nowhere simple, Mira's events took place up to 10,000 years prior to 1 and 2, Saviorite Rebels are unresolved, unlike Saga The Conduit's discovery location has not been revealed in game yet, according to official lore there were 3 beanstalks, and the obvious ones: The Conduit's "location" now, it's larger origins and the rift's origins could link in to an established location or one or more not yet revealed universes.
@Piano Experience I know, I just hope they don't start letting us down now. Besides these reports don't really seem to be based on anything, so all we know is that we're getting another Xenoblade which will be good and not some fanfiction
Looking back on this, it sounds nintendo asked jenna to do voice lines for both future connected and 3, without jenna knowing that it would be for both games. She was most likely thinking it was a new game if that was the case, it probably seemed like a longer script than usual, but couldn't outright say it was because of FC
Old characters returning could be great if it makes logical sense in the story and is executed right, otherwise I would much rather have a brand new cast of characters and have any returning characters be in non-canon stuff like Challenge mode
Maybe just cleverly referenced, or at the very most directly mentioned without them appearing could be pretty cool in my opinion. Though I still think that if executed properly a sort of crossover shtick could be really really cool.
Why can't they do both? Why not just have thier KIDS(or at least thier how many great grandchildren) and the old cast(quite LITERALLY) being there like "hey kids. Now it's YOUR turn to save the world!"
@@jackgarcia5926 everything they do past this point will sound creatively bank if they bring old characters back in any way were the interaction is considered canon They need to do a totally original story tbh 1 and 2 were too similar in themes and motifs
Big agreement. Partially similar to the Final Fantasy series, I REALLY enjoy how every Xenoblade game so far can be fully appreciated as a standalone story where anything relating to the other games is simply a reward for older fans. Give us that fresh cast of fresh faces and give us that fresh new world to explore so we can discover something new and exciting on our own.
Considering that Jin and Minoth managed to live for 500 years as flesh eaters, I could see Nia returning. Depends on how long into the future. If it's like over 100 years, she could still be playable, 500 years though, she'd likely take on Cole's (minoth) role.
I was thinking the same thing, Nia and Dromach would be the most rational choices, as Nia is the only one we definitely know will live for hundreds of years along side any of her blades. Then again, Zeke is a blade eater, we don't know if being a blade eater actually means having the life span of a flesh eater as they are s recent development during the events of Xenoblade 2, but it could be feasible, maybe. Actually I just remembered Mikhail, Zeke is totally feasible.
@@jackgarcia5926 Him too, unlike Nia, I don't see Zeke showing much physical changes by xc3, Mikhail looked like he was in his late 20's by the time of his scrafice.
@@TARDISES I still find it kind of bonkers that Nia's main power almost perfectly counters most Flesh Eaters' biggest weakness. It's very possible that absolutely nothing would be able to kill her besides her Core Crystal shattering or ether starvation. Plus I just want to see more of Nia's backstory than we got to see in XC2, so if Nia shows up, especially as a party member, I'll be very happy. She pretty much has one of the most deadly attacks of any Blade that is also probably _the_ most _painful_ attack and it's only used once in cutscenes and is kind of underwhelming in gameplay.
Maybe Mira is in one portal similar to the one in future connected... Maybe the portal appeared and they entered when Klaus died (and they can exit after future connected?)
I've always felt like I was most certainly in the minority, another Xenoblade game that features characters from 1/2 in any capacity past what Shulk/Fiora or KOS-MOS got in 2 is the exact *opposite* of what I want from any further entries. I would really enjoy a prequel since we have *never* gotten any Perfect Works story that actually shows us the initial developments that formed out of discovering the Zohar. Other than a prequel though, the main reason I don't want characters from 1/2 to reprise any significant roles is because their games are over, their character arcs are completed. Shulk already managed to create a world where it's possible for people to invent their own meaning, separate from a god, and Rex managed to create meaning in a world whose god had abandoned it. I don't need to see anything more from these characters, and I think doing so would actively detract from the core themes of the existing 2 games.
I'm really hoping that the "far-flung future" is the future of our world, the returning characters are Klaus and Galea, and the humans they outlive are the other party members. Otherwise, I really don't want more of the XC1/2 casts, as much fun as they are. And you absolutely nailed it with the thematic significance of finding meaning--while there might be more that certain characters can do, the stories of the worlds are over
Maybe you really do have visions of the future, hmm? Whether the rumours are true or not, I'm sure that Monolith Soft have some exciting and interesting stuff behind the scenes.
Lol that would definitely not be a cash grab. Barely anybody has even played the game and judging on how well XCDE went, and X remake would be amazing.
@@trueNahobinowith cash grab i mean like with the skyward sword controversy of being 60 dollars and didnt change things. If xenoblade x releases on switch at 60 dollars and the same graphics and no quality of life improvement, i would still buy it
Doesn't need to be a remake. X on Wii U still looks good. Just port X, adjust the gameplay to make up for the lack of the Wii U gamepad, and put in some quality of life tweaks (like make skells cheaper)
@@shulkash8799 I think they said at one point that X would be an extremely difficult port, so they would rather do a reboot if they were gonna do anything with it.
A sequel that pulls characters from both games in the series that has issues running because of the amount of enemies on screen... ... That settles it. This is a warriors game
I hope that's the case. I would want the next main game to be either X2 or XC3, but I want any crossover stuff beyond Klaus/Galea and the Conduit to just be in a warriors game or non-canon DLC.
I like a lot of the ideas your putting out there. My only thing is that I would like the main cast to be mostly new characters, with any surviving characters acting as support or background. I do like the idea of Pyra, .Mythra, and Alvis being alive and watching over the world as the renewed Trinity processor, possibly to ensure the Conduit's power doesn't get abused again. The other thing I REALLY want out of a new Xenoblade though, is to have a Nopon party member that fills the Dunban/Citan/Uzuki role. I want an unironically serious and badass Nopon slicing through enemies with a katana! Mostly because I think it would be hilarious.
This seems like it's gonna be a Xenoblade Warriors, or something along the lines of that. The description of there being returning characters from 1 and 2 sounds pretty similar to how characters like Marth showed up in Fire Emblem Warriors
WAIT. What if Shulk knowing about the Aegis in the Smash trailer wasn't meant to be a land of challenge reference but rather a reference to them canonically meeting in the game that was SUPPOSED to be announced the time during the Smash direct and the Aegis was chosen as DLC to promote that game. We know that the Smash DLC picks where picked ahead of time before the pandemic so maybe it's a possibility?
I mean in a way, mythra/pyra represent the torna style gameplay more than base game - their pose is the same when they switch forms nor do they have a cool down, but that's pretty much it from base game outside of pyra's whole existence and moveset. In torna you can have direct control of mythra in or out of battle. You aren't stuck with controlling only the driver characters...which is why I think they almost entirely left rex out for smash.
Depending on how in the future this potential Blade 3 is, we could still see Nia & Zeke (and Dromarch and Pandoria as well) given Cole and Mikhail lived for 500 years
Hey since we're taking about a new Monolith Soft game, is there any reason to mention those pieces of concept art they showed off a while back? There was this talk about an 'ambitious new project' with some fancy concept art to go with it.
The concept art looks more like a new IP more than anything, and it's too medieval to fit with the Xenoblade vibe. In Luxin's last video he mentioned that Monolith Soft proposed something like 10 projects and only Xenoblade was green lighted. My guess is that, with BotW2 and XC3 being worked on and with a large amount of hype behind both, they're probably holding off on that for now. But frick dude MS would make it a real banger either way. Absolute masters of their craft.
I’d much rather have an all or mostly-new set of characters than bringing back past characters. As much as I enjoy them I think it’s time for something new. I wasn’t the biggest fan of Future Connected, and it seems like it might be a bit too fanservicey for me.
Why do you joke about Minoth/Cole possibly still being around in this scenario, but seemingly dismiss Nia who could likely live longer then Minoth/Cole'(s) 500 plus years, Especially with her healing/regenerative abilities? Yeah Nia could kick the bucket due to the uncertainty with Flesh Eaters etc. But in the rumored scenario I'd say Nia actually has at least the same chance of still being around as Melia, if not greater honestly. I'm guessing the Cole remark was more of a "haha would be funny" thing due to his already existing frailty in XB2, but I don't understand the Nia bit seemingly suggesting she wouldn't still be around? Sorry, I often have a difficult time understanding people and recognize I may be misinterpreting what was said. On another note, these rumors line up with one of my random theories too lol!
No no you’re totally right Nia is supposed to be the second most perfect flesh eater after Jin. And cole already lives for hundreds of years so she should live much longer than him without ever her powers coming into use
Jin had some sort of blade cancer from transforming and he still survived 100 years. Nia being healthy should survive even longer. Also While Michael did also survive for 100 years he had a full core attached to him while Zeke had only little piece in his chest (about 1/4 of the core if i remember correctly) so Zeke might not survive that long
And then surprise, metal face is back and he wants vengeance on monado boy! And look, that's dunban over there and he spotted a waterfall a little way back. Anyway
10:54 : "Maybe they can go to X, pick up elma, and do something with that just to satiate the Xenoblade X fans a little bit" Our unending thirst for knowledge will never be satiated (at least until we find out what the hell mira is)
I'm thinking KOS-MOS is guaranteed to show up also but not sure about Shion. T-ELOS and KOS-MOS's driver died climbing the world tree according to the Japanese Alrest artbook and I can't think of anyone but Shion that can be their driver.
Honestly, if there’s a new Xenoblade game, I figure it would be a lot closer to the story of Future Connected time-wise than farther away. Kino’s adopted and ‘randomly appeared one day’ with Riki bringing him into his family. that’s a shonen protagonist backstory if I’ve ever seen one. there’s no way anyone on the writing team would just drop that, I think. but I dunno.
To be fair, Kino's backstory serves as characterisation for Riki, not Kino. It demonstrates Riki's compassion and how he takes being a father seriously, taking in a person who isn't a part of his family. This ties into the major theme of FC, connecting emotionally to other people that are unfamiliar or foreign.
@@nikopierrot yeah, but to me that also seems to leave Kino in the dust in terms of development and characterization, since so much of what's present here was just to show how great Riki is and how he's developed. Ultimately though, why not both? if that makes sense?
Since when is Imran Khan a reliable source though? Xenoblade 3 should be nearing completion by logic, but I don't really like using "returning characters" in new games because 1 of the things I love about Xenoblade is how different every game is. I wish the new game is different in setting, themes, characters & battle system.
This is what I hope for Xenoblade 3, the island that all the Titans merged into at the end of Xenoblade 2, was the island that Shulk created at the end of Xenoblade 1, and then both casts of each games become friends (assuming the challenge mode isn’t cannon) and then something happens to start the plot
After the last video like a day ago, I'm calling it now; you are the one responsible for this rumor today so you can fool the people who didn't heed your video. If you aren't behind this though... it sounds like it's Xenoblade Warriors... which I'm ok with to hold me over till X2/3.
This may be a little controversial, but I'd prefer a sequel to X instead of Xenoblade 1&2. Or, if this is Xenoblade 3, then it could be another separate world that was also recreated by Zanza's experiment.
@@matsurithetrueaegis6024 if they got X to run on the Wii U then monolith doesn’t really need the switch pro, they can just use the witchcraft they used back then to squeeze all the juice out of the thing
I can't wait to see what Takahashi has in store for us. I'm expecting a completely new concept like the other games but that in the last third of the game also shows its connection with the other games, so I'm not sure how I feel about a "direct sequel with many returning characters". I also am not sure about the whole "trilogy" thing (I love the "Klaus Saga" naming though), because I want this series to go on and on and on :P now that there is a multiverse confirmed, but if this only means that there will be a focus on X lore after that I'd be happy too. I hope we get real news soon...
I don't want a mainline Xenoblade crossover unless it's a Warriors game, but that kind of game would probably have X in it as well. If the next big game is XC3, I hope it's a new world, and it would be interesting if the main villain was Galea's evil half. I think a crossover would be cheap and it doesn't settle well with me. I really hope the next game is X2, though. I haven't even finished X yet, but I want to see that story continued and I want to see if it ends up having anything to do with 1 or 2 or not.
I think Flesh Eaters' lifespans are vague enough that Nia could come back. Jin lasted a nonsensically long time with extremely high power and Nia has the ability to manipulate her own Gormotti parts such that she could probably keep herself together at least as well as him
I don't mind past characters making an appearance in newer games so long as they aren't shoehorned in and don't take up a majority of the spotlight, but personally, I'm a huge advocate for a new game to mean new faces and a new world to grow to love. I love shulk and his gang to death, but I would feel pretty mixed if they showed up to steal the spotlight once again after already ending their own stories on a pretty satisfying note. Same for Pyra/Mythra and crew. With Xenoblade games (or honestly any Monolith Soft game assuming they create a brand new series at some point) I really just look forward to the new. My dream "Xenoblade 3" would probably have a completely new female protagonist (just for the sake of spicing things up and being the first female protag in a MAINLINE game) and a completely new mainline party to accompany her. The total number of playable party members probably wouldn't exceed 6 including the main character just because I'd love for the story to flesh all of them out equally and allow for a multitude of interactions with them that allows you to get personal with all of them rather than a few side missions here and there or short story arcs. From the moment they're introduced to the end of the game, I want them all to feel deeply involved with the plot without it being too much of a main character exclusive gig. Give me a brand new fantasy world to explore too. Titans were SUPER cool in both games but I feel like you can't top the original mechonis and bionis. Xenoblade 2's titans were still cool, but their importance and the fact that there were a LOT of them kinda diluted the excitement of being on one. Monolith Soft are expert world crafters so I'm certain they can tackle something brand new that will amaze us just as much as they did with Planet Mira and the Bionis/Mechonis.
I don't think monolith would build upon xenoblade 2's story. The ending just kinda felt final to me and I hope its just a new cast of characters in a separate world.
The next Xenoblade game won't be 3 or X2. It will be a sequel to all Xeno games and be called Xenoblade Saga episode 4X, with the X being from the gears logo. It may or may not be the 40th entry on the timeline.
The rumour seems to be much more credible now especially if you listen to Imran podcast. He talks about how he only wrote the article because Jenna said they were doing another one and he also talks about how his source is very intimately familiar with the game and has seen it running and knows the story. I think it is confirmed at this point and he also goes into bad things like how Xenoblade 3 was really struggling months ago with performance. He speculates that is why they haven't shown it yet.
It's always good to remain skeptical, but what's mentioned in this article really does make a lot of sense for a "Xenoblade Chronicles 3". Especially it taking place in Xenoblade 2's world. Returning to "Lost Jerusalem" has always been the main goal in Xenogears, Xenosaga and now......Xenoblade? The way 1 and 2 end are tied to concepts used in Xenogears and Xenosaga. So many things add up to 1 and 2 "becoming one" that I find this leak fairly credible.
There will be a Xenoblade 3 but I doubt it is going to have any returning characters, it will probably be set in the different universe than the other games.
I'm interested in seeing exactly how (if, even possible) they would attempt to tie the Xenoblade story into episode VI of Perfect Works @10:15. Saga was a prequel to Gear's, correct? So far the only lore that has tied the Blade arc into the overall story of the Saga trilogy a-n-d Gears is the appearance of the Conduit/Zohar. I wish SquareEnix would just give Takahashi back the rights to Gears. It's not as if they'll ever end up doing anything with it. What's the point of hanging on to the title? I mean, we haven't had a Chrono sequel in over 20 years.
Agree, as far as I know gears only appear as fanservice in The world of Final fantasy as boss battle and some grafitty in front mission if I am not mistaken
My opinion: As much as I’d like to see that I believe it’s better we get new characters, new storyline, and of course just connections between the 3 like Shulk and Fiora showing up in a dlc quest or that cameo in the final battle
If the rumor about putting more characters on screen is true... pfff, the fps and resolution drops are gonna be epic. 2 already had problems with that (it can be seen in this very video), so pushing the Switch even further would be reckless. Also, playing it portable would be like playing a PowerPoint presentation, I presume. If this is true, I think they should reduce the amount of polygones of the models, otherwise it's going to be a mess.
Now, six months later, after the Xenoblade 3 announcement actually happened, I'm astonished that almost everything discussed in this video turned out to be correct.

@Piano Experience and dont forget xenoblade can farming simulations too, good crossover story of seasons : xenoblade farming hahaah
idk what you're talking about, it sounds like something in the vein of 2 but then again, not a good thing lmao
@@anthonychessar7179 that sounds creatively bankrupt imo.
@@jackgarcia5926 everything they do past this point will sound creatively bank if they bring old characters back in any way were the interaction is considered canon
They need to do a totally original story tbh 1 and 2 were too similar in themes and motifs
Yeah that girl that shows up by the end of the trailer is definitely Nia
Yeah, I'm in the same boat where I just highly doubt the rumors being accurate. There are just things that don't make sense with it all.
Even if the rumor is false we all wish we are wrong
I like not getting to know the rumors so I don't hype up myself
Oh how times have changed...
I can’t believe it. I’m so happy you’re wrong
Yeah this is way to good to be true. Never gonna happen.
Bro…. LMAO this is wild watching this video today after the XC3 announcement
Will we ever get a sequel for Xenoblade X? We need answers about Mira... ;(
No! Never!( i hope)
Yeah same. I would much rather have a new X game than a numbered entry
Takahashi already stated his intention to do so some years ago
Maybe Mira is in one portal similar to the one in future connected... Maybe the portal appeared and they entered when Klaus died (and they can exit after future connected?)
I really hope so. I miss the more sci-fi aesthetic and the mechas.
Me watching this after the February 2022 direct: Ah yes interesting
And you absolutely nailed it with the thematic significance of finding meaning--while there might be more that certain characters can do, the stories of the worlds are over
Yes that could be better for the series to be more like final fantaisy. Ok the few last weren't so good but the first one yes and with no continy.
Just watching this after the XC3 trailer. LMAO
feb 2022 and it seems this info was pretty spot on from the reveal trailer/info XD that's crazy
congratulations Luxin, you were correct for two games in a row

People's top comments here about NOT wanting returning characters are on suicide watch now.
Maybe you really do have visions of the future, hmm?
Whether the rumours are true or not, I'm sure that Monolith Soft have some exciting and interesting stuff behind the scenes.
i just want a xenoblade x remastered even if it is a cash grab honestly
This
Lol that would definitely not be a cash grab.

I love that this video is basically you coming to terms with your apparent Monado visions that involve Xenoblade.
I'm gonna guess X2 with Melly as an optional voice like how Shulk's voice actor was in X1
That probably what it is, because takahashi said, he wanted to continue x’s story, but I think we need an x port first.
I think it would be cool if we had voice options for Shulk and Melia, but also some characters from 2.
@@shulkash8799 I think they said at one point that X would be an extremely difficult port, so they would rather do a reboot if they were gonna do anything with it.

this vid did not age well
This aged well
A sequel that pulls characters from both games in the series that has issues running because of the amount of enemies on screen...
That's mean an opposit of tatsu ?
I'm in! Want a ninjapon...
"Noppon cut the AMWS in a half" count me in
This seems like it's gonna be a Xenoblade Warriors, or something along the lines of that. The description of there being returning characters from 1 and 2 sounds pretty similar to how characters like Marth showed up in Fire Emblem Warriors
Like that’s ever gonna happen! -Shrek

Lol. "This is too good to be true." *Turns out to be true*
so uh, does that mean that the game was internally delayed for almost a year? hoooly shit man
That makes the release date push up make a lot more sense. It was likely at the "90% done" phase for a veeeeery long time.
Sometimes I feel like that the story writer is also secretly part of the fandom and is pretending to speculate about future games
We all came back to this video for the same reason...
There'd never be a Xenoblade 3 that links 1 and 2 lmao
But it happened anyway
Depending on how in the future this potential Blade 3 is, we could still see Nia & Zeke (and Dromarch and Pandoria as well) given Cole and Mikhail lived for 500 years
wasn't Mikhail a flesheater though?
@@myboy732 Mik is a blade eater, like Zeke, and Now is a successful flesh eater, kind of like Jin, so I could see them both surviving.
@@DrBird-kp5wd i mean its possible they pulled a nier replicant were it takes place so far in the future the world has gone back to the midevil ages
@@DrBird-kp5wd Two words: Nier Replicant.
I’d much rather have an all or mostly-new set of characters than bringing back past characters. As much as I enjoy them I think it’s time for something new. I wasn’t the biggest fan of Future Connected, and it seems like it might be a bit too fanservicey for me.
Still can't believe the plot of XB3 leaked so early. :D
No no you’re totally right
Nia is supposed to be the second most perfect flesh eater after Jin. And cole already lives for hundreds of years so she should live much longer than him without ever her powers coming into use
After the new trailer reveal is this still good to be true or were these rumors actually true?
Actually true
16:22 funny how true this was
HOLY SHIT LOL.
I feel like I'm one of the few people who would rather have an all new cast of characters and a new world as opposed to returning characters etc.

The only scenarios where I'd want a cast of returning characters would be X2 or Xenowarriors.

Nah, I doubt they’d do a lot of this stuff. Bring back old characters? Combine aspects of 1 and 2? Sounds like it’d be too much of a Wild Ride.
Remember when the mainstream media is reporting on something it's probably less likely to be true and probably clickbait
7:27 Eh , You could argue Zeke and Nia since they're both blade/flesheaters who we know to live long lives ( Jin & Mickail )
Jin had some sort of blade cancer from transforming and he still survived 100 years. Nia being healthy should survive even longer.

Or perhaps the game stars thier kids while they are thier the supporting cast being all like "hey kids. It's now YOUR turn to save the world!"

Problem with X2 is that we would need switch pro. I would rather get 3 now then wait 2 years for a switch pro
I'm an X fan and I'm crying in a corner.
Well, this aged well lololol
nia is a flesh eater though, so she might still be around.
Also zeke
Minoth/Cole survived for over 500 years so Nia can definitely still be alive for 3.
Xenoblade 3? never heard of it but all I know it's Trending on Twitter and going it's everywhere on Reddit. Lower your hype guys.
Top 10 quotes that aged horribly
"More characters on screen" and then it is revealed that it was a Musou spinoff all along.
Well, the world's got connected, and how...
Saga takes place "earlier" in its timeline than Gears does in its timeline, but they are separate timelines.
My opinion:
As much as I’d like to see that I believe it’s better we get new characters, new storyline, and of course just connections between the 3 like Shulk and Fiora showing up in a dlc quest or that cameo in the final battle
Am I the only one still waiting for Xenoblade X 2 🥲🥲
Isn't Melia is in Xenoblade 3.. Oh wait this is 6 month before the announcement..
I want a whole new game with new characters and everything. Then I can spend a few more years speculating how everything fits together.
Well...to good to be true huh?
I clicked for Melia's smile.
I hope that they don't do a connected universe, it would feel like too much fanservice, I would rather have new characters and a new world
If the rumor about putting more characters on screen is true... pfff, the fps and resolution drops are gonna be epic. 2 already had problems with that (it can be seen in this very video), so pushing the Switch even further would be reckless. Also, playing it portable would be like playing a PowerPoint presentation, I presume. If this is true, I think they should reduce the amount of polygones of the models, otherwise it's going to be a mess.
