great old pics of wolvo alot of stunning building lost but still a far few left a snap shot into the history of wolvo the saxon pillar was moved in 1340 to 70 to were it is now a diary and a wood carveing shows it being moved the print was in bham reference lib many years ago in the 1980s i saw it doing a study for colleage and history of wolvo dudley and greatbridge the cromwell army river crossing
Very interesting old photos love seeing photos of history. The reason that very old buildings have much more underground is the same as finding old artefacts underground if you dig, the older they are the further down they are, the ground level rises over many years as people with patios next to grass find out .
That seems a plausible explanation but then that begs the question, how old are these buildings? In the States, we have many buildings around the country that have floors and floors buried under streets or sidewalks. The Salt Lake City Tabernacle has something like eight or more floors underground. There are a couple buildings I've seen in the town I'm in now in Ohio. They're also in Puerto Rico and Mexico that I know of. I don't know, just something I chew on from time to time.
Good video m8, some quite telling images that I have not seen before, in a time where people kept zebra & panthers as pets & advertising was done on the side of elephants in the streets, loved the 1880s Mopar steam roller, that thing looked sick, the church interior pics were extremely interesting.

I'm from stoke man, there's loads of half buried mudflood buildings there too, electric trams driving round and loads of over elaborate architechture, all now gone..
@@IanJamesChannel a real old school beaver pelt top hat was like wearing your own warm weather system above your head . they were very useful in winter when driving a horse carriage your head could at least stay warm. Weather or not they were hiding elongated skulls is debatable but the tall hat being empty above your head really held it the body heat. I'm with you though there was a lot of fuckery in the past.
They had 10G 🗼 Towers back then lol. I don't know how Europe waz built back then, but here in America we built these 40 stories buildings with horses and buggies yup... Just a saying.... Great job nakama Shalom nakama
l love looking at old photos and videos of W,ton in the past, sadly today, its just not the same. Dudley street in particular, is a shadow of its former self, and with the closure of Beatties: W,ton today has lost some of its character and charm. As you approach W,ton by train, there is a huge amount of waste ground which needs developing to give vistors a better impression, they seem to knock buildings down, then just leave the waste ground covered in graffiti and rubbish, which seems pointless.
The clocks on old buildings is a sign that time (the time line, calendars, etc) was altered. Time can be used as a weapon, just look at “day light savings”. We all heard the farmer story, yeah right
I'm still wondering how much skill it takes to paint the entire sistine chapel by candlelight without leaving any soot on the ceil or see it once finished. 1502 as we are told
We live in a world that gets complete reset every 100 year or so! Napoleon 1812th, WWI - 1912th, and we are in the next reset :( and still not recognizing the face of Death, artificially, purposely created distractions of humanity
