You inspire me to get better at art, and I ordered a 100 set of ohuhu markers last night! I really like the way those look, even compared to the copic markers (thanks to your video comparing the two). Actually this drawing of yours is one of my favourites now! I love her skin, especially! First time I actually want a colour pencil lol, I don't like them too. Hurts my wrist :)
I love pencils. If your wrist hurts you are pressing too hard. Try doing very light layers and build the colour up slowly. I had to teach myself to be less heavy handed by holding the pencil by the top end and use the side of the tip to very very lightly colour in small circular motions so you basically have very little pigment per layer. Then do another and build up the pigment layer by layer.

I actually really like the skin tone because the hair is like water and sky, the dress is like the earth, and the skin is like the sun. The colours complement each other really well :)
